I'd like to see the "flydraphobic" style box in a much smaller size ......to be used in place of a foam patch on the front of the vest. Basically a depository for flies that I'm taking off the line. I like that this product would allow the wet flies to dry ......but would also keep the flies "contained". I can only guess how many flies I've lost while trying to dry them out "exposed" while still wading a river. I've found that the soft side of velcro holds the hook much better than foam, but this box would be even better......if it would fit into a tippet pocket.
I hope to make an order soon. I need a couple docks to add to my tying station. My foam ones are worn out need replacing and I hope these will be a good replacement.
Nice product line. I really like the catch-all pack, especially the dry fly section, anything that keeps the hackles from getting squashed. Slim design too. Thanks for the informative video.
Brian, have you talked about SMELL? How important is the sense of smell of fish one wants to catch? W-D 40 usage by fishermen? Bait liquids? Huggs from stormy...
As a new fly fisherman, this seems Sooo unnecessary! To me, I'm thinking "How many flies do you need on a trip?!" Just know the species you're going for and the general fly/ hatchling/ bait-fish around. I'm sure I'll be stacking goodies like this in no time though lol.

I Just had my first fly fishing lesson. This is by far my favorite fishing channel. Thank you all
Thanks for watching and please stay tuned.
Brain, I always tune to your channel, great content. Please include the proper way to insert the flies in the different foam configurations.
Thanks for being here. Will pass along to Brain.....and Brian.

Taylor Patton Thanks for watching but Fishpond discontinued that model from the line.

Could you please review fly boxes with built in bottle openers next?
Gumby Greeneye Stay tuned.
Great review.
J er Thanks for being here.
Thanks for the review. Like the new set.
Mike Mason Thanks for watching.
Does the daypack have double slits for each hole and that's how the total count is 180?
You'd have to contact the shop for a question like that. Call or e-mail and they will answer.
Order placed!
Thanks!!!
One bad thing.. the plastic on the original gets way to easy scratchy so you cant see youre flyes anymore. A thing to improve from Tacky :)
Good point. Brian forgot to mention that eh? We'll see if he wants to do an update. Stay tuned.
Mad River Outfitters I have a car lacquer on my original so it dosent gets scratchy ;)
Love the shirt! Where can i get one?
www.madriveroutfitters.com
If he wears it.....we sell it.
Im just starting out fly fishing here in co and people catch carp on flies i just dont know which flies they use
Watch our series here called "Carpin". That will help and they do discuss the flies. It's right here on our RUclips Channel. 10 episodes.
Why is no one selling the Tacky Dry Fly Box anymore?
It is no longer made.
@@Madriveroutfitters thank you for responding, is the catch-all still made?
Do y'all no longer sell the dry fly box, the big bug box, and the flydrophobic box?
That is correct. They were discontinued. Current Tacky line-up is on our website. Feel free to call the shop if any questions.

Kevin B Depends on the fish, the trip, the time of year......etc. Just showing fly boxes here though, you don’t have to buy them all.
Way over priced. You can get the same box at Sportsman's warehouse for about 1/3 the price.
The prices are pretty much the same. I don’t know what you are looking at.
Clint Patterson Yes, Fishpond sets the pricing not us. Always has to be a hater though that chimes in with stupidity right?
Clint Patterson “oldrudedog” says it all. Maybe he’s not real good at math?
