I finally got through all the videos I want to see! It was a deluge of info over the last week. you rock. Ordered from ya yesteday and will continue to do so as you rock!
The double haul box is my favorite small creek warmwater fly box. One side has enough headroom for small to medium size poppers and foam bugs, and the other side holds all my subsurface flies like nymphs, buggers, and crawfish.
It’s been awhile I missed you guys! I learned my first day catching fish watching your q&a episodes a week before my rod purchase and day I bought my rod reel line combo I owned a 5 white fish 3 browns and 1 rainbow but I now graduated to euro nymphing and I can get average 20” trout now
Not sure if you have already showcased it. But you guys should show the viewer the fishpond switchback 2.0 waist pack. I always wanted a waist pack but have hated every one I’ve tried until now. Being able to slide the bag behind you back while fishing and walking and then to your side when you need into the bag. It’s incredible
Hey Brian, enjoyed the review! I just picked up fly fishing in South Mississippi, where weeds and underwater branches are more than common. Are there any flies or products you recommend to help prevent getting snagged up and breaking off all my tippet and losing my lures?
Please send Brian an e-mail at the shop or give him a call and he'll be happy. He doesn't come around here much but to make videos but he IS in the shop every day! Thanks.
It would be really nice to see a video comparing vests. Simms, Fishpond, Airflo, Patagonia etc... I use an Airflo currently which is superb, but I really like the look of the Fishpond Goretex model and other versions.
Good idea but would probably take months to get on the film list to be honest. Feel free to contact the shop directly if you have specific questions about any products.
I'm still trying to figure out why you would want a waterproof fly box. If you put a wet fly in a waterproof fly box and forget to dry it out later it will rust everything metal in that box. If the box is not waterproof you may still have that issue but not to as great and extent. I don't know I may be crazy. In any event keep the good stuff coming guys.
Thanks for tuning in! We can't go anywhere without our Tacky fly boxes. We mean anywhere...
I’m a beginner and the double haul is perfect for me. It fits a bunch of random flies cause I’m not sure what I’m doing yet.
Perfect! Thanks for watching.
Ya it’s cool just a little thin for fitting hoppers. Some get smashed lol
I love Tacky boxes...can't wait to try these out, thanks for the heads-up!
Thanks for watching and happy to help!

That Double Haul looks perfect.
A much needed addition.

Thanks for the note and for watching. Will pass along.
The tacky tube is still my go to fly box. 😊💪👊
Too bad they quit making them. Was a cool product!
Already bought it with a bunch of soft hackles, wooly buggers, and worms to fill it
Cool! Thanks for the support.
Yesterday I was saying how nice it would be for tacky to come out with a fly box that has the dry fly insert and nymph insert. Dream come true
We heard you......loud and clear. Thanks for watching.
Sounds great!
Thanks for watching.
Thanks!

Simple solution might be to not put we flies in there? Thanks for watching.
