Hello, my dears! It's lovely to see these clips again. Thank you for your kind comments, and for your support and love of the group.
Janis is a little firecracker!!
And what a gifted vocalist!
Perfection!
God, so young. I just saw them two weeks ago at The Egg in Albany. Laurel Masse was there as a guest. What a night! They still got it! 50 years!
Fabulous stuff. 4 fabulous people singing fabulous songs fabulously while fabulously dressed.
As classy as it ever gets. Love it !
Good God, when are people going to discover these four? They are incredibly gifted and talented. Their singing is absolute perfection!
I’m hooked!!♥️♥️♥️
Thanks guys💋
They were massive in the 70s and a version of the band still performs today - so not sure they need to be discovered. They are fabula aren't they.
We did in the UK. Chanson d’Amour got to number 1 in 1977.
Walk in love beautiful song to sum this song in a place n time let's see a moon light night warm balmy air on a tropical beach ssy Hawaii with your loved one beautiful music 🎵 like this song and just enjoy.... Each other's company a pefect end to a beautiful night ....❤
Love this group and this wonderful music! Got to see them in person...in 2022!?
Their final world tour is underway at this very moment. They are supposed to come to New Zealand next year. Currently in Europe at the moment I think.
Where did you see them please
@@mickhines1284 I have seen them three times in New Zealand.
you got more than singing on the 2 ronnies you got window dressing to enhance it , the amazing mht
What a fantastic selection
I remember that Pop group in USA Manhattan transfer i saw them on top of the pops in 1978
Just got their latest recording ...Fifty....They are better than ever. Wonderful harmonies
From that very 1st album which I still have, I not only loved these guys, I dreamed I was the 5th member . TMT simply could do anything, but I felt strongly they needed a 5th, & that was of course, me. well, in truth, as a 4-part, they have done pretty well over 50 years -------TMT, you are /were, the very best. EVER. ----RIP, Tim Hauser. ------MJL< 76 y/o
i remember back in time hearing walk in love in the radio...those were good times
Thank you very much for posting this. I could vaguely remember that TMT had a 'resident guest' spot for one or two seasons of a well-known 1970s show, but I couldn't quite remember which show it was, and now I know!
great & amazing
Thank You Thank You for uploading, Jeezuz Wow!! Beyond awesome to get to see All of these again🤩🤩🙏🙏💖💖
I can still remember the dramatic impact of Je Voulais visually (as if the impact of the recording wasn't dramatic enough) and it hasn't dimmed. What an astounding performance from Laurel !!
This includes a lot of favorites from when Laurel Masse was still with them that I'd found individually on RUclips. Love it. I don't recall this show, but am guessing it was British.
You are correct...there were many 70's superstars that made their way on to the Saturday night variety TV shows in the UK..The Beatles appeared on the Morecambe and Wise show back in the 60's...ABBA at the peak of their fame appeared on Mike Yarwood...inconceivable now...the appearance fee would be stratospheric.
Love this video but not convinced of the date (Dec 26, 1978 - Feb 10, 1979) listed at the bottom of the description. Laurel Masse was in a near fatal car accident in Dec. 21st, 1978 and was completely out of commission through 1979. It wasn't until 1980 that she returned to performing.
This performance HAD to be the last , or close to it, of Laurel Masse with the group. I say this as " Exte4nsions" , the '79 album with Cheryl Bentyne , came out in '79. I remember buying it in the Fall of that year. Laurel had a bad car accident, but her real reason for leaving was the decision to move to the West Coast. Laurel wanted to pursue a solo career, so she remained in NYC. Cheryl was auditioned in LA--------she was # 8 --------and was hired right there. ------------MJL< 76 y/o
My apology for failing to EDIT the above entry ! ------MJL
You missed their 50 brilliant years!!!
fab
Janis Siegel очень милая
Boy, that Asian garb and face makrup wouldn't fly today!
I don't think they are wearing face makeup -- perhaps keeping their eyelids lowered a bit more than normal.
Priceless!
