I'm an old folkie at heart and it's a long way from Martin Carthy or Richard Thompson to PassCode, but somehow I got there. The reason I like them is because, like Babymetal, they fuse improbable elements: in this case EDM beats, shiny autotuned pop vocals, proggy structural complexity, metal riffs, and Yuna's amazing screams. And mostly I think it works. So now I listen to Richard Thompson at home, and PassCode in the car. Sorted! :)
Passcode is just absolute unique, fabulous and refreshing. They do not follow a linear sing along song structure. Absolutely love them and live they truly knock you out of your socks. Saw them in Tokyo last year. I seldom felt so exhausted after a concert. Try „Trace“ live by them. Band Maid you luckily found already 😊 you also should try Polkadot Stingray - Pandoras Box g.e. or Maximum the Hormone - maybe F or Yoshu Fukushu as starter.

Band: Necronomidol. Songs: Psychopomp, Lamina Maledictum etc. please. Also a Japanese idol group, but from the dark side :). Very unique.
Im really glad you guys went back to the picture in picture instead of the projection, with headphones, as a video editor myself and a fan of reaction videos, wearing headphones makes it seem more genuine. and while the syncing of the pic in pic may be time-consuming it does come across as more professional, love the vids keep up the good work!
Yeah... We are still debating on which one to do... This video was from a few weeks ago before we started to experiment. The most recent ones are from the projections but we might just go back to the picture to picture. It does look better. Thanks for the input.. it helps to hear other peoples opinions.. thanks..

Lol thank you for reacting to this one Lost in Mpk, I laughed when you were shocked on that first scream. Yeah it's kinda Auto-tuned but the screaming of Yuna is real even on Live concerts. But their backing band is also good, they were an Idol band; genre was Electronic Loud Rock Music, most Kpop used auto-tunes too and vacaloids..If you gonna give them another go try their live ones.

Personally I love this song including the auto tune...with the exception of the screaming bits....I hated those screams...call me an old foggy but scream is not music....
great track, for me the only real enjoyable track from passcode, the other songs are not bad also but the overuse of autotune cringes me out most of the time.. if it's used well it sounds great as in this track, but it is as stated overused so many times. but Yuna's screams are perfect! i totally feel you ^^

Personally i didn't mind the auto-tune part that match because they were still great on live performance, the backing band were good too : )
yep, if it matches, it can truly make a good thing perfect, but i've yet to find a song beside "taking you out" where it matches and isn't too much..
i've yet to see them live, but if they ever come near me, i'll surely give it a shot ;)
offtopic again: how are you today chris? after a good nights sleep and a little hangover, i feel slightly better and can accept the terrible news from yesterday a bit better..
Personally i didn't care anymore what they want to do. I'm not angry with the band, I'm angry to the management(Amuse). Because they kinda tricked us that Yui will somehow getting better and were planned to get back on stage once again as soon as possible. I don't kinda believe that she says that lately, I know she already quit last summer, Amuse tricked us to believed that she'll be back. But I don't mind them so much today.. But I'll still gonna watch some reaction videos and Live concerts of them time to time. My love for Yui is still there of course, it won't changed that. The trio still have my support, don't know about the band, that's their problem anymore not mine..
i totally get your feelings, it's hard for me too, but i want to believe in the statement from Yui, it surely would be better to get a videostatement to see her wellbeing too, but i think that's too much to ask.. i also don't think that it was only a trick, as they stated that she's still part of amuse and part of BM in july at the meeting, if they really lied at this meeting, it would cost them more money than they would safe from tricking the shareholders, tho. But these are all just my assumptions.
I can't turn my back on the girls, even tho its not the same anymore. I love the music and i love Su and Moa as much as i love Yui. Let's hope to hear from her sooner than later
It just kinda reminds me that most of the Idol bands are like this, like in the world of AKB48 and some big Idol bands that I didn't know that much. I just recall on what happened to the former Passcode member www.homicidols.com/when-idols-get-pissed-kurohara-yu-ri-bites-back/ What happened to Babymetal is not that much different with K-pop stars, that's why I kinda sadden they becoming like what Koreans do in Music business. But that's the world is, reality is unfair. Oh boy, I wish I had met them before they gotten big and famous..
