One of the greatest movies ever made and one of my all time favorite movies. Mifune's character is one of the greatest and most badass leading guys ever committed to the screen.
Dude, Sword of Doom is amazing. It’s probably the samurai film I’ve seen the most, followed closely by Yojimbo, and the very underrated Three Outlaw Samurai
@@CarnageCounts 3:37 Unosuke (the name of the Character) didn't die yet. He died during the scene where Tazaemon (the old man you see at 3:42) is beating a Prayer Drum. By the way, you missed one more death where Tazaemon killed who I believe is a remaining member of Unosuke's clan off-screen. 3:37 Unosuke (the name of the Character) didn't die yet. After a long time, I've decided to come back to visit your channel only to find that it looks like you've gotten your channel back! Congratulations! I've missed your uploads and other videos, so seeing you with your channel back makes me happy! Keep up the good work!
Hey, can you make “Venom Let There Be Carnage (2021) Carnage Count, Shang-Chi And The Legend Of Ten Rings (2021) Carnage Count, Eternals (2021) Carnage Count And *SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME (2021) Carnage Count*” Please!!!!!!!!!
Dunno why, but I always preferred stories of noble good-hearted samurai fighting evil rather than the stories of knights or cowboys. I guess it feels cooler, with these guys relying on their swords and cunning and not shiny armor or guns. I've always hated how guns enabled cowards 100-fold. Rant aside, I remember something funny from a Garfield and Friends cartoon. Liz is informing Jon about Yojimbo and how awesome samurai were, then Garfield decides he will be a samurai and called himself Yojumbo instead. I thought it was hilarious.
Very bad movie. The katana fights look like kids playing with stick swords. Acting is bad except main character. Kills are not so terrible, cut hands help to realistic look.

Yes! One of the masterpieces by Akira Kurosawa.
3:42 It’s safe to say that roasts were a lot less subtle back in 1961 than they are now
In cinema yes but not in real life lol

Seen this movie hundreds of times. Hearing the coins made it extra fun.
Sword of doom is another favorite. 😁
