I miss hearing "SUUUUUUUUUUHHHHH"... True Heisman winner that year.
I feel like I remember reading a statistic that in ‘09, Suh was like the 5th best defensive line in the nation by himself. Not lineman, but *line*. On his own he was better than 120+ teams’ entire defensive lines. That’s just wild.

Greatest Husker of my era and I watched the last Heisman win the trophy. No player was near as dominate as Suh was. We’ll never see his equal again anywhere.

Ndomukong Suh was "Thee" best defensive lineman to play the game. Don't forget teams would double and triple team him to slow him down. He was still dominant. People today don't know how incredible Suh was. If Nebraska had TMar at Qb a year earlier, Nebraska has another natty. Took the refs to deny Nebraska a shot. GBR ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Regardless of the refs, we didn’t have a shot at the natty that year. It DEFINITELY would of been I interesting though had we had some of those offensive pieces a little earlier like Martinez, who knows what would of happened 🤷🏻

I'm 31 so I missed out on the 90s. 2009 Huskers have been my highlight (so far) in my husker viewing career. Suh was absolutely incredible to watch.

He is my 2nd favorite player at NU next to Ahman Green (only bc he's from Omaha, Ne. Lol). I didn't miss 1 game while Suh was playing. Watching him play was amazing and Bo Pelini had the best defense in the country at that time w Alfonzo Dennard and Prince Amukamara. Mannn I miss them days.
