Suh has come such a long way since he was considered a "dirty" player. He is now a leader.

As a die hard husker fan, I love seeing his personality turn around and all the success he's had had. Him and David getting a ring were the only thing bright spot softening that KC superbowl lose 😅

It’s an outlet. While I didn’t play football I played and still play hockey the only other major sport in America that’s close to the physicality of football. I know so many people that are the same way. Won’t harm a fly off the ice but become demons when suited up at game time

people don't understand, especially the media, that to be dominant in a pro sport you have to be in a different mindset and basically turn into a different person. Suh made some bad on the field decisions earlier in his career, but if anything that just shows how passionate and competitive he is as a person
I hate when the media tries to define someone's character by how they act during games
SUH was an absolute beast and I loved how he played on the edge. Haters are just upset he didn't play for their team.
Mr. Suh wasn't being paid millions of dollars to be a choir boy on the field. His job was to stop the player with the ball and to dissuade other players to do the same. Football is about sportsmanship yes....but you got do handle the business and demand your respect. Off the field that's when you get to turn on the rest of the feelings. He doesn't whine, cause locker room issues, or in the news creating off field problems.
Such is really a Good Guy. Very competitive.

Suh changed the culture in Detroit. They went from being a laughingstock 0-16 team to having one of the most feared defenders in NFL history. Suh, Stafford and Johnson were definitely a big 3!

This dude was the definition of absolute UNIT when he was in college the dude was so good the defense would only use 4 down lineman because Suh could take on double teams and still win.
you aware some teams use 3 down linemen as base? its not dependent on having 2 gapper like suh; he simply opens up alot more of flashy stunts and blitz as result of his value

As a person who grew up a Buccaneers fan, the moment I found out he came to Tampa, I jumped on my table and said yes. I followed his career since he came into the league, and the thing I wished people could avoid doing includes the perspective of calling him a villain despite a play he did his rookie year, and he clearly learned from it. Don't judge a book by its cover and brilliant take from NFL Films.

I was sad to see how he acted earlier in his career. I don't know if that moment is something he should "respect". Yes, learn from your mistakes but there's no respecting being a dirty player like that moment showed. Glad to see how much he's grown though.
I seen him play those first years in Detroit & aside from a few incidents he really was a great player. He played rough & tough & I just think he played in the wrong era, had he played in the 70's or 80's nobody would have called him dirty
