  • From the game Trauma Center: Second Opinion (this also being a remake of sorts for Trauma Center: Under the Knife), made by Atlus.
    Track composed by Shoji Meguro.
For whatever reason, the original track has a short "freeze" segment (extremely short) before looping back around 1:20, making it a bit jarring to listen repeatedly once you notice it's there.
This video is just a seamless edition of that loop, while also looping it twice as much.
As always, I do not own any of the rights for this song or the game it came from, as they are reserved to Atlus and the composer Shoji Meguro. This upload serves mostly for backup purposes.

So this is the ost that plays irl in a doctor's head when the surgery gets intense? Lol.

Considering there are surgeons who do in fact play live music while making procedures, having something like this play in their minds wouldn't be too far fetched, lmao.

Huh, this persona game hits different. Only one persona shared amongst the party and yet you have different abilities with each. Then you have your party member betraying you literally instantly. And then the military shows up and tells you that the antagonist is in a glass jar that they kept him in for experiments. And then you have to figure out how to defeat him with like... A scalpel and it's so... Intense but kinda interesting. The background for the battles being inside a human body with all the veins and organs is kinda macabre but cool.

The lack of punching in favor of more modern damaging techniques may not appeal to everybody, but it has its charm for sure.

@@Rashtor my favorite part of the combat has to be you can perform a critical heal on your team mates with a syringe. Definitely a keeper when I saw that.
Also that status resistance plays a much more integral role in this game as status ailments can carry through the entire game if you aren't careful.

I can picture this music playing when doctors first dealt with Covid victims 😮
