Fantastic Cover! I wish he had called it "Together Again" - Because to every fan, that song is what it sounds like to have Portnoy and Petrucci reunited again!
Well, he was playing it way before that album, with Mangini on drums (that + glassy-eyed zombies during G3 tour) so I guess Portnoy didn't have much to do with those 2 songs ;p
@@goldenguti True...But the final cut of it is better and Portnoys drums are better for sure...he brings it to life...its used to be called cloud 10. Add Portnoy and its Together Again!
@@5150gtrman it was also called happy song, John was using cloud ten/happy song ;) And i'm not so "better for sure" sure, I remember it live and Mangini's feel was more fitting for me, also glassy-eyed zombies were imho better, had more power, especially on the ending

The chords for this song always remind me of In Too Deep by Sum 41. I love it. Neoclassical metal mixed with late 90s punk.
As a beginner that picked up guitar too late in life, this is something I may never get to experience, but I still dream.

Do you learn his songs for only 2 days? Weird. Its so good.
I learned it in one afternoon, no joking, then the day after I sat down and recorded the video
in the last 10 years petrucci became very predictable specially in his solos and running, basically if you know 7 techniques in 200 bpm 16th note, you can master petrucci songs, which is not easy thing, i am still learning his 5th technique in 160 bpm :)

Do you get copyright strike if you post cover songs....how not to get copyright strike in cover songs videos....I got 3 copyright strike in my channel though I had played the entire cover by myself ....got frustrated and deleted all video on my channel
On every cover u have copyright strikes, on my covers i can use the audio by specifing that the song its propriety of John Petrucci or Dream Theater but i cant make money with it (its totally fine to me). So, if u want to make money i suggest u to use original audio. There are also other artists label that dont want u to use their audio, i published in 2017 a Periphery cover and they muted my audio for its entirety
