I think Petrucci should really consider taking a rhythm guitarist with him on his solo tours to really fill out the live sound. Sounds a little thin compared to the album. Great though!
@@johnnyfreeman1018 the live sound is still very full and realistic in person when you're witnessing three men at the absolute top of their craft destroying these tracks nearly studio perfect. I had stellar seats when he came to Houston (Stafford centre) and it was definitely a top ten on my list.
The Petrucci album creation with MP during Covid Pandemic was like a positive sign that MP will rejoin DT. And then 3 years after the album release, after finishing the DT Top of the world tour, MP officially comes back to DT.

It is good to see them together yeah. But I have to say, looking through all the videoes of the recent new tour, it looks to me like John has an injury or he did not prepare at all. The concerts are riddled with mistakes. A lot of severe mistakes too. Pretty out of character for him. I know he dislikes practicing with age, but still, if this is a lack of preparation, it is very unprofessional. Good to see them together again indeed! I can't wait for a profesionally produced live version where he's actually got the tracks locked in and is ready to go. Looking forward to seeing a sharp Petrucci! Bless

Saw the show in Sacramento. There was way more improvising than I've seen John do in previous tours. Great tour! Hopefully they do more in the future.
