No, nobody’s forgotten how bad he was. Every time he threw the ball Bama fans collectively held our breaths. Never knew where it was going to go - and not where it was supposed to go. Incredible how Sims’s stats don’t quite reflect just how bad he really was. Lane always thought he could make a QB out of any ole RB. Also incredible how we won with him.

Actually, Sims was a valid QB considering he came to Bama as a running back. Still helped to lead them to the playoffs also. Definitely had his fair share of mistakes, but so does every quarterback tbh.

He never was. It’s unreal how his stats seemingly cover for bad performances. Every time he dropped back to throw was slow motion, silence, held breath - then usually afterwards groaning out a “what was he thinking?!?”

@@mynamedoesntmatter8652He still beats Parker Wilson's to be honest. Wilson's was atrocious early in his career at Bama until he later improved. Considering Sims came to Bama as a running back and this was his only year starting, he was pretty valid.
