It's not about the salary. Like most Indian students I got pushed into that degree without even knowing what it was. There's isn't a single thing that I learnt back then, not because electronics is bad but because I was never interested. Doing something just because everyone else is doing makes it a sad reality for a lot of students.

Hi Gaurav. If you want to move ahead in programming then you can take this course. You have right background and professional experience, so you can easily get an offer. You can take some introductory courses initially and then move to more advanced courses. If you are not that much interested in programming then you can either take INSC or Quality Systems Engineering. If you want more details you can watch video on channel.

You can still get admission based on your academic performance and strong SOP, but if you really want to do good in your masters you will have to work a lot harder than your peers. My suggestion will be to do some crash course and get a coding job first. When you feel you have learnt enough, apply for a master's program.

There's not a fixed criteria. But all the students that I interviewed had more than 7 cgpa. But in my opinion universities look into your overall profile, not just the cgpa

I don't know if it's a standard or not.bit I haven't come across anyone with cgpa less than 7.5. Again, it's not mentioned anywhere. Maybe this can be compensated by your work experience. Try writing a stong SOP.

Writing SOP is an obvious step while applying for masters. Reference letters can make your profile stronger for admission but they are not compulsory. I have met students who got admission without them.

I think current GIC amount is $ 10k and for fees it depends upon the university. Like for Concordia it's around $ 30k and for UW it's around $45k. So, I would say check with the university for exact amount. And these amounts are excluding your daily expenses.
If your major is computers then you can apply for any job that a computer science students can apply, if it's electrical then I don't have much info on that.
