@@Nightwalk444 What I meant by my original comment was that metal these days doesn't sound as heavy as it used to, just to clarify the "should sound like" part, but that could be down to a personal change in taste/mentality.

Wouldn’t call theses death metal. It’s more deathcore. And slipknot most definitely aren’t in the death metal category, started of nu-metal but have changed over the years. Kostolom is the album so many wanted slipknot to make after IOWA. But got vol 3: the subliminal verses instead.
Deathcore probably makes more sense! But agreed, you can definitely hear the Slipknot influences during the album, and we love it! Thanks for joining us!
