I had no idea Pikachu was gonna have a 4th evolution. It’s a shame because that design does look really cool.
No the original idea was that Pikachu was the first evolution
they should reintroduce it as an alternative evolution for pikachu
Originally the Pikachu line would've still been a three Pokemon line because Pichu didn't exist yet. Pikachu would've been the first form
We don’t truly know what Gorochu looked like, GF just gave us a partial description and name. Proto data for gen 1 later got leaked, cut Pokémon only had their back sprites much to our chagrin. Gorochu is hard to make out from just that sprite. Dr. Lava will include speculative fan art with a disclaimer when he has nothing else. Wish this video had done the same.
Definitely do more lost pokemon because it's so amazing seeing someone's concept in physical form

Amazing figures, they look amazing. I was really curious as to how you would manage the clear poles and honestly the straw wuth gloss was insane, i would have never thought of that. You should try and continue this and make some more of the unreleased evos or scrapped pokemon in 3d!
That was an issue I kept struggling with! I don't even remember how the idea popped into my head but I am so glad it did.

As a kid back in 1995 I had a "fat" Pikachu toy that had some metal connections at the bottom of his feet that made him talk. I think I still have it in storage somewhere.

Aw sad about chubchu but wow everything turned out great! When I saw that dark blue silicone mold I was hoping you weren’t using UV resin because it really needs clear molds 🥵 the straw idea was ingenious

awww, I feel your frustration! but I also cannot deny that it's a bit more entertaining than it should be, probably... but I like to see that people do mistakes and get frustrated and procrastinate while crafting and making things - because it's normal!

Representing a 2d image in 3dimensions was one of the assignments in the prep course for art school. We didn't have software. It was to determine weather a student was a designer or a maker.
Your pokemon do look cute, it was never a concept that fully computed in my brain.
Brian from family Guy might gently break in a new series of characters (I hope you don't hate family Guy)

@@zedabyu I pondered over that tasks for years, we were asked to decide ourselves (I asked a turor an opinion and they are very definite in their answer) it seems that the results are either and object augmented with design elements or the opposite.

Ah, so you've encountered the dreaded "Hey, UV Resin will work in this mold, right?" issue.
I had a Pokemon figurine that I made a silicone mold of and made the mistake of using UV Resin to make a copy. I got about half of it in different spots and the rest was a huge mess of uncured stickiness. Normal resin would probably be a better investment, but that stuff can get pricey.
And now, prepare for a massive Pokemon nerd to provide a list of some Pokemon and why they should be made into little Takara Tomy figures (or something else)
- Pichu: Finish the family!
- Unown: I feel like you could make a really cool little ruin statue-like thing with different letters of Unown. Maybe have them spell out Zedabyu?
- Gardevoir: It's popular for... reasons, and it's my personal favorite. Nothing really more than personal bias.
- Sableye: You could give him little resin gems, or if you do the Mega, a big one.
- Duskull: Imagine giving it a glowing eye and fabric for the cloak. That'd be really cool.
- Chingling: Make it an actual bell.
- Roggenrola: Recently had a Community Day in Pokemon Go, and it's just really neat with all of the flat edges.
- Liwick: Make it have a real light up flame, maybe like those fake flickering tea lights. Halloween special?
- Klefki: It's a key ring, that's funny.
- Pumpkaboo: The single BEST Pokemon for a Halloween video.
- Meltan/Melmetal: They're super shiny, and I'd love to see how you handle that chrome look.
- Smoliv: It's Smoliv, what more could you want?
- That weird Blaziken/Latias hybrid from the Ruby/Sapphire beta: It's just so weird that I think it'd be interesting to see in 3D.
- Substitute Doll: Not a Pokemon, but it's still iconic and deserves more attention.
- Venustoise: That weird fusion from an episode of the anime.
- Animon: From the Gold and Silver Spaceworld Demo. It just looks hilarious.
- Beta Arceus: From the Nintendo Gigaleak that had beta sprites from Diamond and Pearl. Beta Arceus looks really stupid, and that's why people love it.

He's a really cool channel that sculpts Pokémon in mini dioramas out of clay, and he's really cool! (He also does things not Pokémon related). BTW, these look really clean, but for the Pokémon look, They need to have a black outline between the folds of their bodies, one solution if you don't want to paint them individually, would be spraying the outline parts with some water, then applying a blackwash to the parts (and cleaning up everything except the outline.) Awesome job, anyway!

I would love to see more lost Pokemon, particularly loves evolutions or pre-evolutions. I'd also love to see more Power Rangers stuff, perhaps accessories or monsters for the Lightning Collection.

Ah, one of those UV resin diorama huh. No idea why those get so many views even though it's literally the same thing - pouring resin into a container lol. But I guess it's time for me to try one of those! Good idea.
