Don't know if anyone else has every suggested this, but it could be cool for you to recreate Sid's franken-toys! The skill you have with the others would make it really fun to watch.
I think the best way to make the body soft, while still posable, would be an armature skeleton, either printed or out of thick aluminium wire, and the stuff fluff inside the body and arms, like you would a normal plush toy. ^^ Your sewing is getting better! And I finally learned how to use Blender, wooo!
I had a similar idea but I think a center cylinder with a bottom and top plate to mount the feet and head would be good then he could fill the body with stuffing so most of it would be plush
You are selling yourself short dude, that sewing looked great 👍 I thought you were gonna draw the stitches on after folding 😂 The buttons and his hair were my favourites.
your accuracy and attention to detail to the fullest extent pleases me as someone who tries recreating things from other franchises. i absolutely love the passion and care you put to each of these projects! toy story was one of my favorite film franchises when i was a little kid, and i always wished they made accurate toys like in the movies. these videos fulfill that childhood desire of mine, and i can't thank you enough! the mere knowledge that someone is making toy story replicas this accurate fills me with the utmost joy, i wish i had the skill to do them myself. anyway, i hope you get a million subscribers soon since this dedication is way too underrated as of now. goodluck! i can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!
It’s so amazing how talented people can be like this looks just like the movie!!! This is such amazing work and your talent for this is amazing keep up the great work zedabyu!!!!!!!
Oh my god!!!! Chuckles is a mood and i love that he can judge you at any angle! You made him 1000 times more accurate and it really does bring him to life🤩🤩🤩
I think chuckles body is supposed to be a bean bag, are at least thats what I assumed it to be. It would make sense for it to be this way, having the beans settle down giving bro his big caboose. The shoes could easily be attached in like a clip-in manner inside. Idk if im explaining myself very well.
Sometimes I don't understand how Disney messes up making merch of toys for a movie about toys Excluding Buzz cuz ye Anyways these videos just keep getting better
Whoever you are You want me to Criticise Zedabyu pointing out how incredible and amazing the artist from Peru who made this chuckles, and oh my god how dare he even attempt to change or (fix) it GROW UP! The truth is I actually love this chuckles from Peru it’s amazing, zedabyu customising it Should not be a problem for anybody, art for me is a lot of different things but one of the main (factors) In my opinion is freedom, we’re artists and art is freedom
To be fair, the soft body could work if it was either foam with a solid connector for the head- his collar leaves enough space to conceivably do that- or a very overstuffed plushy with the same deal. In either case the head would have to be extremely light. Spose they could also put a rod through the body at the base that attatched to the feet. Considering yours is meant less to be a cuddly toy and more an accurate representation, it’s fantastic, and much less complicated to pull off.
It still is amazing people can do this stuff, even if it isn't 100%, they still try. that's gotta be something right? im still impressed the original was handmade, it looks like something thinkway toys could've made.
One little tip, I use crepe wool hair for masks and you can use water to make it tangle together and really add a lot of texture if you want him to be a little messier
I had the same problem with prints and supports. You are either overexposing and it’s “baking” the support into the piece or the supports you are using have large contact points on the model and you need to adjust them use smaller points (especially on parts that you don’t want to mar). The cones of calibration are a great way to get your exposure settings dialed in.
Hey there zedabyu! i can see your having a hard time with filling out all of the holes on the model, maybe you could try water sanding, water sanding is after you sand the model, you then put some water on the model itself, and then sand it again, and the dust particles from the previous sanding would fill out any holes and cracks, i just wanted to give out that information for you!
You need to start an Etsy shop or something and sell these 3D models so we could do our own cause let's be honest here, there's not getting any more accurate than you. I'm still tryna get a Buzz head for my project!
I've been watching your videos for a while now and you sir have inspired me. I am a plush maker and hearing about a certain pink bear has made me decide to make my own lotso.
plush making is definitely a skill i want to pick up so if you have any recommended tutorials out there i can refer to, please feel free to share! thanks
i never realised that chuckles has similar body type and overalls as Wario. Would you be down to do some Mario 3D printed figures in the future? That'd be so cool!
You've probably answered this previously, but I'm too lazy to look it up: what are you airbrushing in front of? Seems to have downward flowing water as a particle filter? Also, good job. The head sculpt is great, and even with cleanup the painting is still very sharp.
