The lead off photograph of two children with musical instruments was not of two girls. The child wearing trousers was a boy with long curls. Often younger boys had curled hair or the mother allowed the hair of a boy who had curlier hair to grow long. Also although he wore trousers, some very young boys of the Victorian & Edwardian periods wore skirts, or dressing gowns until potty trained.
This was great. Glad to see people smiling and enjoying themselves
I look at the people and wonder what their lives were like. What jobs did the children have when they were adults; how many went to war and how many came home.
Actually most were probably already working, you know, like they want to make it again.
Those brave men working on a high rise building. No safety harnesses back then.
"photo shopped"
The woman with Elvis is Debra Paget, not Dolores Hart ........
Enjoying your Photos👍 That wedding picture looks like they are at a Funeral😆
The very first picture is not of 2 girls, it's a boy and a girl! Girls did not wear pants like that. It's a sailor suit typically worn by BOYS
Debra Piaget not Delores Hart with Elvis
These photos are brilliant. I wonder about their lives and how very different they were to ours today. If they could see us now, they wouldn't believe anything they were seeing ! Thanks - take care 🙂
Loved the music. Who is the pianist in the first two pieces. I’m one of those increasingly rare weirdos that happens to love classical music😅. The photos were amazing too!,
Great photos😊
The men working at building skyscrapers back then - nerves of steel and no fear of heights! I wonder 🤔 what they got payed??? And did they have any insurance??
this photo was "photo shopped" in the manner of photographic work of the time.
I believe that was Debra Paget with Elvis instead of. Delores Hart.
The first moon landing was on July 20,1969
A music list would be very nice
Thank you for the beautiful picture collection nice job
4:10 When fur was still in fashion....😔
4:22 How poor they lived then, especially the ordinary working class. 😔
The first set of music to go with this program was wonderful it didn't detract from the photos it added to the ambience. The right of the Valkyries however does not fit this sort of entertainment at all.
See on täiuslik!
How hard is it to wash your child, and yourself
When you have water you mean.
0:05 It’s a boy and a girl. See his sailor boy’s outfit with the slacks?
AI.
Just kidding, I know these are legit.
Or are they?
They are.
But someday we will really have a hard time telling which old photos are real and which were AI generated.
I think the photo of the men sitting on the beams of a high rise building was "photo shopped" in some way. It does not look real.
It wasn't. Some want to bring us back to these days, you know, BEFORE OSHA and all those persky safety refulations for worker's safety.
Hate your choice of mucic😢
The photo of the 2 boys in the foreground & buildings in the background is definitely "photo shopped". The boys are very highly defined & do not match the buildings in the background. I don't know what was going on, but many photos (anywhere) appear to be "photo shopped". Photos clearly could be photo shopped because I remember seeing photos of headless people & other strange things that were regarded as traditional in those times.
VICTORIANS enjoying the roller coaster. Victoria didn't die until 1901.....if you're putting stuff out there, check your facts first.
