- Hello you guys and welcome to today's thrift haul! My son is off from school and he has been asking to go thrifting so of course I said YES! We went to several different thrift and antique stores and found some new treasures! I hope you enjoy this thrift haul!

Gorgeous! 💙🤍 Also, I think people highly underestimate how stressful it can be to talk in front of the camera. 😂 I have to constantly remind myself to breathe and slow down. Love your channel! OHHH Courtney... I am stopping at mixing bowl on video right now 😳... Oh if we were only neighbors hun! I've been looking for a large bowl like this! Reconcider KEEPING! You can set a Plant in it, Dish Cloths/Towels, make a HUGE Salad Veggie or Fruit in it, Popcorn Bowl. Just some Ideas hun 🥰! You must have Wonderful Thrift Stores, Antiques Stores in your Area!! Ok I got excited. Now back to the Video 😁!!

I think the yellow bowl will be pretty in your kitchen as an accent color, if you don't like it there think outside the box, it will work somewhere in your house, a plant would look beautiful in it.

The mixing bowl… do not sell it woman! You got such an amazing deal and those kinds of thrifts only come around, once in a lifetime. You could perhaps put it on top of the kitchen cupboards … or find a place in your pantry for it. It so reminds me of the mixing bowl my Mom had in the 60’s. I know it’s actually older than that … but it’s the same idea!
For the dresser I would pull a green out from the wallpaper/bedspread, if you’re looking for another colour … but not yellow 🤮. If you went with the wall colour it might be too much.
It’s too bad you’re not living closer to the South of Alberta … Ontario is so far away. I have a gorgeous half moon table with claw feet and a matching huge mirror also dressed up with the same ornate carved wood trim. It’s a statement piece for sure … it was spray painted with an off soft white chalk paint, with waxed crevasses throughout the ornate carved wood trim … speaking of large pieces. It’s not a piece that should be set up in a room with 8’ ceiling … stands out so much better with 9’ or 10’ ft ceilings. When I say ornate … I’m referring to it being similar to the sculpted wood on some of your older gold frames.

BTW … don’t get too hung up on ‘save the planet’ kick too much. Yes, one should be conscientious and respectful … but it’s not the creations Christians are to worship in this world but the Creator. I recently thrifted a don davey print of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I haven’t found a frame for it yet but you’re inspiring me to get it hung! My grandparents house had a view of the Golden Gate Bridge so it is so nostalgic for me. ❤

Girl ....that mixing bowl, gorgeous! With all the white and gold it might look Khaki! Now..... the dresser! What about painting it a pretty sage green? Pink and green are pretty! If it were me, I would paint it white and put pink knobs to match the wall. Just a suggestion? Honey I know exactly where that street is in N.O.! Ionly live 30 miles from there! All my kitchen items are pretty much thrifted, except my pots & pans. I'm planning to get rid of my matching set is dishes & start buying or collecting just pretty plates, i want mixed-matched ones. Same for my dining chairs, i want older ones.. that are in good shape of course😉 I love that ecclectic look! The art prints are pretty! I buy art with no frames & empty frames, eventually something will fit together & make a beautiful piece. And of course i find art with a frame i don't like or a frame with art i don't like, its just easy to create something you'll love! Your gallery wall is gorgeous! We're in the process of moving..i cant wait til we find a house, i want to create several gallery walls! Lol I'm just ready to get back to thrifting & decorating period!😁 Oohhh wow you scored on the mixing bowl! That's why I google lens EVERYTHING!! I've scored quite a few good finds! Girl I love antique malls! I loved going to them where i lived In Tennessee. Can't wait to hit the big one in Tampa! And any other one i can find. I love copper! What A cute piece, set the bottle in it or hold under a glass when drinking wine..I'm just guessing, i don't drink wine🤷♀️ The blue & white is gorgeous!💙 It would be pretty with yellow flowers too, im loving the blue & white with pops of yellow.
