We have 3 fondue pots. haha When we were younger, we used to entertain a lot, and we used them. We'd do two different cheese fondues and a chocolate fondue. I love the ice bucket and yellow fondue pot. They would be cute with a daisy themed party.😊🟡🟡🟡
The metlox daisy serving bowl! Gotta love a great vintage ice bucket. I have one of the penguin ones. Love your fondue pots. The basket additions are so cute!
I am so going to use your words, “squint your eyes and you won’t see the mess”!! I loved everything you shared with us today; thank you for your ideas and fun! 😊
Everything as always, just Groovy Becky!!! Love it! Love the wicker. Who has time to do dishes and make a bed when the thrift store is open? I squinched my eyes. You're the Best!
I just came across your channel, and I am so glad I did! As a fellow RUclipsr who loves antiques and thrifting, I’m so looking forward to getting inspiration from you! Your haul was amazing! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Oh what a haul. It truly was your "treasure find" day. The way you used the treasures in your home decor was definitely you... I also loved the 4th of July decor. That little touch here and there in your home truly spoke volumes about your patriotism Becky. So happy to have you on you Tube. Debbie Banks Morehead City N.C.
Hi Becky! I love the wicker pieces and I think the big one looks just perfect where /how you put it. And.. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Those fondue pots and ice bucket!!! For all the trouble there was in the '60's, it was THE BEST time in history for fashion and home decor. I wish I could re-live it. You know, you can put melted chocolate in the fondue pot and dip strawberries, pineapple, etc. in it.
Those sunflower napkin rings are so cute! I would use , flower up, just like that with the polka dot napkins! You’ll eventually find something plain like wood or wicker eventually I’m sure. Always seen them in thrift stores. Love the fondue pots… so adorable!
Love, love that last basket ❤. The flatter amber glass bowl would make a lovely rose bowl (yellow roses) or large hydrangea (dried)💐 When we have fondue parties, we have one with oil, one with Brie cheese and one with chocolate! So fun! Love the stand for your postcard. I squinted, so 20 pts (could care less about dishes and beds when thrifting is sooo much more fun 😅 I think the napkin rings are perfect, I would show the flowers. Happy thrifting … hugs
What was the oil for? I have never used a fondue pot in my life. lol! I am assuming it’s like the melting pot where you kind of cook the food at the table. Does it get hot enough for that. (Please don’t think I’m stupid I just missed doing this in my lifetime or at least my mom never introduced it to me)
@@MyLittleVintageHome yes, it gets hot enough to melt the cheese if you are using the fondue oil pots underneath (not candles). Also, the oil is like deep frying .. so, small cubes of meat. Have fun!🤩
I love, love, your decor. It reminds me of my home in the 70’s. You have such good taste, and you know how to style so well. Love the new items. You hit the honey pot.
Great haul! I love how excited you get when you find things that are the colors you love. I grew up with those colors in my Moms home. Those fondue pots look great. I know you will end up finding the forks you want. The ice bucket is awesome too ❤😊
Oh Becky, your excitement just fills my heart. Our decorating styles are so different! I so enjoy your channel ❤ Happy 4th ! We are celebrating Canada Day 🇨🇦 July 1st! Take care 😊
Hi. I love using layers and angles in decorating. I think the way you used the large basket tilted with the plant right side up inside looks fantastic. 🌻
I'm so glad you found, not just one, but TWO fondue pots!!! I knew you could do it! And in the colors of your soul, too! ❤ I just love how you set up your "party" with them. I would totally want to come to that! 🎉 Great haul and great video! Oh, and in your game of "10 points if you ignore...", I got 20 out of 20 points! 😂 Thank you so much for all you do, even in your busiest days. I really appreciate you! Thank you for sharing! ❤
Becky, What a great haul!!! I Love how you used the wicker baskets,I think the deeper one with the plant inside looks Great!!! Those fondue pots are so cute and the way you displayed them is so fun!!! Now I want to have a fondue party!!! Thanks again for another wonderful video!!!😊🫕
Hi Becky, first time here. Donna at Delightfully Southern recommended your channel. Ok, as someone who is old enough to say I had a fondue pot back in the 70’s, just wanted to let you know the plate is what you put the metal stand on, then the pot in the stand. Wouldn’t want you to use it incorrectly. So glad I found your channel. It tickles me to see you decorating your home with things that I had in my home as a newlywed back I the early 70’s. Look forward to following your channel. 😊❤😊🙏oh I live in Scaly Mountain NC 😊
Becky, you are truly unique. I love it. You took us straight back to the sixties and seventies. I don't know if you have seen the Mad Men series, but you should. Knowing how you love that Era, you would love all of the props (but I am not sure about the content). Check it out anyway.
Becky, Wow! Absolutely love the final clip with your styled fondue pots and the ice bucket. The smile on your face said it all. The polka dot napkins were not only a great find but a classic to decorate with. The Goodwill Stores in my area do a lot of one pricing for all of an item, baskets are $5 each which is usually a ridiculously high price. If the basket is very large or unique, then it will be marked even higher! You have made Thursdays a favorite day!
Great finds friend. I love having fondue parties, you got some wonderful prices on both of the pots. The ice bucket is awesome! I really like the basket/tray used behind the smaller plates in your bedroom, looks great. Love the wall paper in the bathroom. i think the napkins & rings looks great with your all of plate collections.I love the party table scape, the table cloth is awesome! Thank you for the inspiration, have a wonderful week .
Love, Love, Love your finds. Man you talk about your prices being so high. I was laughing every time you would say how high the prices were. Those kind of prices is what most thrift stores in California are. By the way I still haven’t forgot about the liberty dishes. So far I have only found a couple of small plates and one regular plate. I will let you know what else I find.
Everything you got is beautiful Becky! Squint your eyes. so funny! lol I am so happy you were able to find a couple of fondue pots. I have two of them also and they are both yellow, one is yellow with white daisies on it and the other is just all yellow. I would love to find an ice bucket like the one you found, that is so cool! What a wonderful idea to put the baskets behind your plates or just to add texture. You know I will be doing that now for sure. Love the antique post card holder too! I love it all! What a fun video! Thank you! 🌻❤🦉
Honestly our Goodwill’s don’t have much either. Not like some thrifters I see on RUclips where they have aisles and aisles of hard goods. We have one big section at best. I would like to get more into estate sales like you but I usually hesitate on going by myself. Same with yard sales. I love going, I just prefer to have a shopping partner with me when I go.
I do not shop at any so called charity shops, in other words places where the merchandise has been donated. I only shop at flea markets or thrift stores the prices are much better. The charity shop ceos are only concerned with lining the pockets of themselves and the people who manage the company.
You are absolutely correct. Goodwill is the worst. I’m pretty sure Habitat puts at least some of their profits to their charity but I don’t know what percentage. We don’t have a good flea market near us. We have one and it is just full of modern things that I am not interested in. 🙁
Stop it…a fondue night?!? What fun!! I’m sure your decorations won’t disappointment. I mean, what you did in the video was incredible. 🤫Did you see Michaels has a Hippy Halloween line this year? ☮️
Loved what you got. When we were first married, we did fondue all the time with friends . We had one for meats and one for desserts . Chocolate with cut up angel food cake and strawberries and bananas. 😊
@@MyLittleVintageHome you're gonna love it. It's so much fun to share with friends. If you can find an electric one (gave mine to sister a few years back) it's great for meats. It had a high/med/low setting. We did small pieces of steak, etc and did homemade sauces. One was a mustard sauce and I thought it would be horrible but it was great. The sterno is fine for chocolate. I may have to borrow mine back!
Good buy on the polka dot napkins ! Great baskets too.
This is groovy✌️☮️ boy does this take me back to my mom’s house and cottage. The greens, browns, oranges and yellows. Your home looks so cozy👍🏻
Thanks so much Tracy❤️
Hi Becky, must say the squinting really did work. So enjoy your videos.

If you cook with fondue pots, it will be handy to have one for oil and another one for cheese or sauces!

Yes! I could just see the hostess at your party wearing one of those caftans!

Like the plates in the baskets. How do you attach the plate to the baskets?
I just put a little mail in the wall that has the slightest head on it so nothing slides off. So far it has all held on pretty good.
