- Hello friends! We have been working our way through this house with diys and makeovers which means I have been busy and haven't had time to really clean and organize this house! Which it needs - badly!! So today we are taking the time and going room by room, and organizing closets and cabinets and giving this house the deep clean it needs! I hope this gives you the inspiration you need to clean your own home!

We have been glued to the olympics. Love all the stories. I have been watching u tube about the french bakeries and wanting to eat those pasteries and crossiants. They look so good.
Love swimming? Gymnastics. Track and field. Beach volleyball. Almost all of it. Not so much Breaking!
Yes! The kids and I have loved it all! And ahh there is nothing like French pastries 🥐

I love that big Victorian art piece you moved from the entryway, my fav type art to collect❤ The other piece looks really nice there & a table would really look good under it! You'll find one I'm sure😉 I'm so excited to see the dining room makeover!😁 I know its going to be beautiful, no doubt! Childdd.. you tear my nerves up climbing with no one there to support you or catch you😬🫣 Hahaha, seriously tho!🤦♀️😂 The baskets do look pretty on top of the cabinets! Aww sweet Harvey, i hate he wasn't feeling well.. hope he's doing better! Girlfriend kids that age are too smart these days! We have our 3 & 5yr old grandkids, both are so stinking smart! And my sons 11mth old, never seen a baby at her age do some of the things she does.. they all just blow my mind🤯 I understand the exhausting part..i have the 2 older ones all day by myself, and I'm NO spring chicken🥴 The 5yr starts school next week, but the 3yr old is about a dozen kids trapped in one teeny tiny very petite little girl😄.. the 11mth old weighs more than the 3yr old!😳 The older one will soon be getting the younger ones hand me downs😂 I think we all have at least one part of cleaning that we just despise doing.. mine is the bathrooms, particularly the tub. Now days i have a hard time getting down there, but i can't stand a dirty tub sooo.. I whine, grumble & scrub😑 We have white floors everywhere but the bedrooms, the large ceramic squares.. and a Frenchie that sheds, with 3 kids & in FL.. it rains every single day😩 We have a robo vac.. but i use the broom vac right before i mop.. with clorox, every few days. I'd rather do that any day than scrub a tub🤷♀️ (tee hee🤭 that rhymed) Always love your videos Courtney! Always look forward to the next one! Hope you have a blessed week🙏🏻

I don’t know why, it takes literally 20 minutes and makes such a difference. But I will put it off the entire day/days. Cleaning house with dogs and kids is like shoveling snow in a blizzard. 😂😂

No I haven’t been tuned into the Olympics this year, like I have been in past years. Had a lot to do with the opening ceremony. Being a Christian I’m not at ease at all with the whole transgender thing and mixed sex competitions. To me it’s a rejection of God. (Sorry … but you asked.)
The biggest transformation was your bedroom … what a difference once you cleaned up. Smart thinking leaving the makeover for that room to be one of the last rooms. Like you said the common rooms take priority, as Christmas is only 138 more sleeps before that very special day!
Really looking forward to the dining room makeover. I hope you’re able to incorporate a colour that goes with the fireplace … it really is pretty. What’s also going to be neat is the colour you choose for your walls (even if it’s wallpaper). It will change the colour tone/look of your wood furniture. I must say that one piece was such a great find.
I agree with removing the painting in the kitchen. Besides, when you go to raise those kitchen cupboards to put shelving up under said cupboards, you will lose the top space. But it’ll be worth it when it’s all said and done.
Looking forward to next week’s VLOG … can’t wait until reveal the next makeover.

I totally respect your choice on how you view and do things in life … to each their own. I don’t watch TV much anymore (mostly it’s on RUclips for DIY channels, series and movies, etc.), thus not watching the Olympics wasn’t a sacrifice for me. I see where the world is headed … as per Biblical Scripture that clearly lays it out … so I choose to withdraw more from the entertainment side of social media, etc. and focus more on God and Godly things. It’s still a work in progress.
However, I also don’t have children at home now … and it’s important to educate our children, before they go out into the world. So please don’t think I was picking fault with your choice. I merely responded to what you asked, which is why I said that. I know my response and views are of the minority and will be frowned upon … I get that and I’m okay with it. I’m also a lot closer to my journey’s end, than say you are. I think it’s important to pass on your beliefs and views to our children, whilst they are willing to listen … sometimes that means seeing and allowing things to be seen, so an explanation can be given. Even God only shields us to a certain extent. Life is about choices with the trials and tribulations set before each of us, which differs from person/family to person/family.
From what I’ve seen you’re doing a fine job with raising your children … but then you don’t need my approval … only God’s. 😇 I didn’t do as good a job as a parent but as the Lord says, it’s never too late to make those changes in one’s life … as long as one’s still breathing. I have a lot to make up for and I’m grateful for how the Holy Spirit is moulding me now, in God’s image. More specifically becoming as Christ-like as is humanly possible, knowing I’ll fail with my Adamic nature … but knowing having the heart to try is everything.
