  • Hi All!
Today you will see some unusual flight. Flight from Samedan in Switzerland to Innsbruck in Austria. Samedan also known as Engadin Airport, is a regional airport in Samedan in the Engadin valley of Switzerland, 5 km from St. Moritz. It is the highest located commercial airport in Europe with threshold elevation of 5600ft above sea level. It is located in the valley with almost no instrument approaches availiable. The VFR departure takes us to point RONAG at which we switch to IFR and continue to Innsbruck to hit an RNAV/Visual approach to Runway 08 which is quite uncommon in Innsbruck as well. Innsbruck itself also known locally as Kranebitten Airport, is the largest international airport in Tyrol in western Austria. It is located approximately 4 kilometres from the centre of Innsbruck. It is again category C airport like Samedan and requires captain of the aircraft to undergo simulator training prior to operating into there.
Flight time is approximetely 28 minutes.
Landing in Samedan might be found:

Hi everyone. I’m sitting here in my van at Heathrow cargo area waiting to deliver an AOG in Etihad Airlines. It’s raining, it’s dark but I’ve just watch this film in real time. Breathtaking views. I’m an aviation enthusiast and love these new generation of light jets. Sadly I have to stick to Airbus and Boeing for my flights. Thank you for posting.

I have an issue on Garmin that I can’t get rid of blinking screens

@@737Aviation As an american' made product, everything should be set to NTSC standard, so Garmin's WXGA screens most likely refresh itself at 60hz, camera set to exposure time bellow 1/60sec should't be able to capture any flickering, so best would be exposure time 1/50sec(1/48sec) and video framerate at 24p(23.976).
On regard to the actual equipment (camera), ND filter may be required.

@@GinoFoto Thank you for reply. I tried 50hz and 60hz with different exposure times, if I play with exposure I will get to the point that screens wont flick but the outside will be absolutely white and nothing will be visible

It's nice to be able to see the scenery out of the window, but I would personally prefere to see the instruments as well
