Back in 1999 the Dueling Dragons at Universal’s Islands of Adventure was my first major roller coaster as a teenager. It’s pretty cool knowing this will be the younger generations first major coaster for many! 🙌🏾
Just found out from the official Universal website that Starfall Racers will have a 48" height requirement (3" less than VelociCoaster). I could definitely see this thing being a lot of kids' first "big" coaster!
@justimagine2403 the re-theme of one of the most iconic rides in the park and the addition of a clone that took 5 years to build compared to Universal building an entire park in thar span is not promising for them. All they really care about is cash. Reports show they intend to spend LESS per park the next decade than the last, which was not exactly impressive outside of say, 3 rides
@@patrickn8355 Their Epcot re-do was also a huge financial fiasco. Disney will be on the back-foot for the next few years in terms of the theme park game. I mean all the 'imagineers' they laid off just went to work for Universal on their projects.
These look so good! They will be among the best in the world. So glad Dueling Dragons lives on in spirit. I just hope stupid people won’t throw things at the other car like was experienced with Dueling Dragons.
Looks brilliant, a combination of a duelling dragons type coaster and a launch coaster all in one ride. Probably better than the duelling dragons coaster that is no longer in islands of adventure. It’s a shame epic universe won’t be there when I go to Florida this year
I really hope they actually launch these coasters at the same time so they actually race, unlike Duelling Dragons which were rarely launched at the same time therefore rarely duelled 😢.
Where they come at each other from opposite directions... there is a barrier wall. I suspect this is the highest incidence of objects tossed at each other is the greatest. Whether intentional or not... the barrier walls reduce the likelihood that an object can come at you at double the speed of the coaster train. Very interesting!
Except they will never race them. One of the main reasons Dragon Challenge stop being a dueling coaster was guests on one train kept being hit with items falling from the other.
@@TheBaldr they will race them, there's multiple racing costers in the UK, historic ones like the grand national, and modern brand new ones like Lego Racers, it completely defeats the object if they don't race them, it was only the forward facing loop element on the dueling dragons that had a problem.
this ride looks so f**king cool! might be the highlight of the park. and the riders per hour will be high. being 2 coasters at the same time and all. i wonder if one has an issue if the other will just go. kinda like they do at magic mountain with colussus. there is a countdown clock if you want to race. so you have to hurry and get seated if you want the "race" aspect of the attraction.
I'm super surprised that they built an inversion over another track, that how Dragon Challenge stopped being a dueling coaster because two guests were hit with items falling from the other coaster.
I’m a little worried with this one. They took out dueling dragons because the inversions were causing items to fall out of pockets onto the opposite train. Seems like this ride will have the same problem.
Just hope the launch isn't a** like most other Mack launches. Maybe I'll get a good idea of what to expect when I ride Beyond the Cloud later this month. Layout looks great though and is super long
Looks bomb ! And I noticed most of the "criss cross" elements one of the trains is slightly ahead of the other except the one with the wall. Looks like they learned their lesson with dueling dragons. I will say I still wonder about that element right after that 2nd launch on both coasters from a safety perspective (like something falling from someone that's upside down)
Looks cool but don’t care for the color scheme. Bright yellow doesn’t scream space… also the launch part would be neat if it were blacked out with some cool LEDs to feel like your jumping into warp drive.
A veloci type coaster with that length would be wait too much for most ppl. So i think mack is a great compromise. Its not super thrilling, but enough to be a lot of fun. Especially since its so long.

That was one of B&Ms best. It’s a shame it couldn’t have been bought by another park.
I loved dueling dragons!
Same!

Not really, it's quite smooth.@@coastingalong

Shut up
Universal is just knocking it out of the park lately
Yeah, right! Disney WILL have to respond.

Wow! This is incredible!!! So excited for this!!! IT IS HAPPENING PEOPLE OUR FIRST NEW PARK ANNOUNCEMENT IN WHAT SEEMSL LIKE FOREVER!!!
Since Islands or Volcano Bay or ... Animal Kingdom 1998
Yeah, there hasn’t been a new park in a loooong time in America
Oh man I can't wait to go on a real Mack thrill coaster. That company is killing it with the rest of the elite - Intamin, RMC, B&M, Vekoma, etc.
They better actually have this dueling. It would be majestic to watch
I hope this is a soundtrack for the ride because this song is getting me hyped up
This will be an amazing coaster experience for sure! Sign me up for opening day!
These look so good! They will be among the best in the world. So glad Dueling Dragons lives on in spirit.

I love this design! Nothing super crazy but looks like a blast!
Dueling Dragons died so Starfall Racers could live
THIS IS EPIC!

Watching the first half of the coaster: 😐
Witnessing the Celestial Spin: 🤯
I’m so ready for this, I want to ride both tracks.
Ok, I'm game and looking forward to it 😀
OMFG that is going to b be bullshit awesome, duel coasters so close yet cant collide.
taking it to a whole new level.
Universal keeps outdoing themselves. This looks fantastic.
OMG!! I can't wait. Dont even care about the wait time. Whatever it is, I'll wait because i know it's going to be worth it
Crowd control will be great on this thing! 40 people on board at every launch!
beyond the cloud fr
Looks like fun!
Looks pretty awesome. Not super high thrill, but still lots of fun!
Looks great
Looks like a masterpiece
2:10: Here comes the Millennium Roll!
Amazing work, even more accurate now
A thrill Mack in the US. LFG

Mack did a great job 👍
I'm so happy they brought back a dueling coaster I miss DD so much
oh this is going to have very strict loose articles policies.
Well I know where I'm going when it opens! Take my money!

i still can't make sense of the deviding wall, at least a transparent one would be nice
Noise pollution?
It's the only true criss-cross, so it may be for safety reasons. The material, not sure.
It's not actually a wall, it's a open type fence with lighting effects.
OW! MY EYE!
Amazing!
Mack Produkt
Looks like this might have some nice floater airtime moments which I am all for. Will be a nice compiment to Velocicoaster with its ejector airtime.
this coaster will be so pretty
That down drop element after the launch looks nuts
0:52! epic!
Oh wow, this will be the greatest racing coaster of all time.

It’s officialy been renamed to “Stardust Racers” after the lawsuit against them
celestial spin? You mean the corkscrew area that's been done many times before?
👏👏👏❤️👏👏
Crazy 2025 is going to have GTA 6 and this park opening
And James Gunn's Superman movie
I hope it actually duels!
It looks like it will.
it's a mack produkt it will dual correctly
I'm super surprised that they built an inversion over another track, that how Dragon Challenge stopped being a dueling coaster because two guests were hit with items falling from the other coaster.
STARFALL RACERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🔥🔥🔥
I might be stupid, but is it two rides or one ride? Like do you need to queue twice?
You will need to queue twice yes
wake up baby amusement insider just posted a new nl2 video
I’m a little worried with this one. They took out dueling dragons because the inversions were causing items to fall out of pockets onto the opposite train. Seems like this ride will have the same problem.
I'm calling it right now: this will be a better racing coaster than Twisted Colossus
@Universal Why can’t this be the new fast and Furious ride😭
The ride looks amazing, just hope there are lockers for those loose items because thats a disaster waiting to happen
The velocicoaster killer and it’s from the same park. 😭😭🤣
What's the music in the pov? The description said IMAscore, but it didn't specify
It is part of the retro-future pack
@@AmusementInsiderthat one was in the last video
I'm talking about 1:09 to the end
it might've been Lux-Inspiria, but I don't know which one

What’s the song? Also, I wish I was enough to ride this haha
You wish you were enough what to ride this?
wow
To bad they won't run them together like they should be.

Don't be an irresponsible, already one-eyed, PR nuse, without polycarbonate glasses, and they won't have to destroy an icon.
Yeah I highly doubt they will race the coasters. They will never be on the same part of the track at the same time as in the video.
What video game is this?
No Limits 2
@@crashcoaster3852 I'm gay too don't worry
The new name just does not seem to work for me. At least could they have tried "starfield racers" instead?

Not even close to Duelling Dragons
How?
Honestly… seems a bit boring outside of the one inversion. But if the goal was to make a more “kid friendly” VelociCoaster then mission accomplished!
A veloci type coaster with that length would be wait too much for most ppl. So i think mack is a great compromise. Its not super thrilling, but enough to be a lot of fun. Especially since its so long.
Did I see only one inversion? Lame.
Is that really all you care about when it comes to a coaster?
I thought I saw two. There was a dive loop in the first half of the ride. Unless it’s one of the non inverting ones
GP
Did Millennium Force have any inversions?
Looks boring
You wouldn't say that if you actually go on it and see it in person.
