    The only battles or duelling going on is in the minds of fans. It is a true collab among musicians who like and respect each other.

      I know I brought up dueling a lot, but when I was talking about it, I didn't mean it in a way that one was trying to outdo the other. I strongly believe it can be done out of pure fun, which is the feeling I get from this, much like the bass/lead guitar "duel" from Hate?

    MISA and Ale became close during the collaboration. On Instagram, MISA and Ale didn't talk together much because they are both shy. They finally got over their shyness and started talking with each other, become close, and MISA stated that she cried when Ale and the Warning left to go on the rest of their tour. I'm sure both bands are looking forward to seeing each other again.

      Even Kanami said that, when they played the song "Show Them" live all together, right at the end, Kanami cried because she was so happy and sad at the same time for that moment.

    I was at their joint concert in Tokyo this last June 12th. And, i can tell you that they were not dueling or competing. These ladies genuinely love each other and respect each other's talent. I hope they release an official live version, and there is a live version out there on YT, but do not react to it. You will earn a strike. But do go watch it! I was in tears by the end of this song. Now, im going to see the Warning 5 times in 4 countries over the next few months.

    I'm glad you got a chance to react to "Show Them"! This collaborative video screams "GIRL POWER!" Collabs are notoriously hard as hell to do well, especially between two bands with different styles. Kudos should go out to both bands and the production team for putting out the AWESOME hard rock banger. Band-Maid and The Warning are the new "Poer Couple" in rock with talks of another future collab together.

    As an intro to The Warning’s original songs, they are always better live, but look for the official music video of CHOKE to get up close and personal and a sample of lead singer Dany’s vocal range. Then look for DUST TO DUST at the Teatro Metropolitan. The youngest sister bassist Ale (Alejandra) is given major credit in creating the song. Affectionately called the ‘Thunder Goddess’ by fans. Nothing will prepare you for the song as the drummer Pau (POW-Paulina) sings lead while drumming like a boss. I credit The Warning fans for introducing me to BAND-MAID a while back. This was epic.

      I'm honestly very glad you say they are better live because I tend to gravitate towards live performances, if I can help it, with my reactions. Always seem to be something extra special with them

      @@NavyDoc5184Reacts All of the music videos of The Warning are unique and often works of art. In two of them, Disciple and Burnout, The Warning Army, the fans play a major part. Pau the drummer was assistant director in another one. In Evolve, no camera crews due to the pandemic, instead, IPhones attached to mike stands, their instruments, the ceiling, floor…and a drone were used. Watch the videos on your own. But LIVE on stage, they are epic. The bigger the venue, the more massive the audience, they are just incredible. All their old songs just became epic recently in a concert in Poland in the largest stage and in front of about 50,000 fans!

    W I N !!!!! 🎀 W I N !!!⚡I think we can just say, at their level, Band-Maid and The Warning are equal peers at the very top of the "Rock" pile. I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, Doc! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔

    Check out a few live performances from The Warning. You'll appreciate that this collab was a merging of different styles to create something novel an quite apart from what either band does. Kanami wrote the original draft of this song with The Warning in mind and shared it with both Band Maid and The Warning. Miku composed the first draft of the lyrics. The Warning made their suggestions and modifications to the song, including polishing up the lyrics a bit. In the live performance of this song all the musicians were on one stage and everyone was playing simultaneously except for those parts where they traded off in mini-solos. So each of them can hang with the other, which is not easy to do, especially on drums. That is a testament to the musical skills all 8 members of this "super group" possess.

    That was a bad move denigrating Alé before you even heard it. I say it's a losing battle with the Warning Army for you. Oh well.

    • @NavyDoc5184Reacts
      @NavyDoc5184Reacts  3 месяца назад +2

      I totally get your point, but in reality, what I said had nothing to do with "denigrating" Ale's skill, it had everything to do with how highly I feel MISA is in terms of skill. She's probably the best bass player I've ever seen and it'll take a lot to be at her level, in my opinion. Takes absolutely nothing away from any other bass players' talent.

      @@orlandop1804 The two have different styles. Ale is 19 y/o and had been playing bass for 12 years! And she had some of the best, most versatile bass mentors. I doubt there is a style she can't play, since she studied both Jazz and Rock. I have not seen her slap on a The Warning song, but I'm confident that she knows the technique and could do it if she wanted to. Slapping hurts your fingers until you get used to plying in that syle, which is a good enough reason to not do it.
