Incredibly well researched and professionally edited. I've even noticed upgrades in audio quality. Keep up the great content!
Thank you 🙂
The first drop in this ride doesn’t look that steep but in real life it’s actually really steep
On a somewhat related note Volcano Bay is my favorite park at universal
A family member of mine worked on the construction of Volcano Bay for Universal Creative. It was really cool that after it opened they did an employee thing where they could bring family members. We got to go to the park at night with basically no wait for anything so we rode the water coaster like three times in a row.
I’ve been on this slide before and it’s so amazing, it’s my favorite in the park. The only problem is that the wait times are absolutely unbelievable and sometimes even the virtual queue is full.
I’ve never heard of this kind of coaster, it’s really interesting.
It was worth the 2 hr wait. U can get on other slides while u wait tho
Most coaster enthusiasts don’t consider water coasters coasters but it still is very cool
It's not really a coaster, I think it's just what ProSlide calls it for marketing purposes.
@@jptrout235 Acually the highest wait I’ve seen it as is 4 hours. Remember tho, it’s a virtual line!
I’ve Been on this ride and me and my family both love it, it is amazing!!!
I remember beinf so confused about how it went uphill with such little impulse, the amout of water woudnt be enough to keep the raft moving upwards. It was my fist time ever in such a thing and it was great! Highly recomend!
this water coaster is incredibnle. The headchoppers are absolutely ridiculous and the airtime on the drops is phenomenal
Verruckt would hate the term "headchoppers"
@@dratelectasis ooof.
Damn, we need more of these. I'm usually terrified of water slides because they feel so unsafe but this having all that magnetic tech and stuff would make me feel so much safer, cuz at least there's something there lol
ProSlide waterslides are generally safer than other brands. My mother hurt her foot on the Boomerang at Sun Centre, but did not hurt her foot on the Kinnaree at Siam Park or the Tropical Cyclone at CentreParcs, which are similar rides.
But rollercoasters are still safer.
Great video. As advice for folks who are interested in this slide and Volcano Bay more generally, it's really quiet out of season - we went in December and were able to ride this coaster three or four times, and probably could have done it 20 times if we'd fancied ignoring most of the rest of the park. Not bad when the weather is still well above 20 degrees celsius.
Very well done. Until now I had no idea linear induction was used, I just assumed it was all water pressure. Nice.
I just rode this with my family 3 days ago. Talk about timing! This was an awesome ride. I'd recommend the "Action" River also. It is an amazing new experience to your typical "Lazy" River.
Can I just mention the quality of this video. I mean, I love the fact that you also give the measurements in cm/m as a European myself.
I enjoy volcano bay so much. I could go more than once ! So much fun 🤩
Dang I always get so excited when I see the video but then it says premier lmao. But I’m excited for this and can’t wait until it comes out!
hi L
Yeah the premieres on this channel are kind of annoying/pointless. Maybe for a bigger channel it would make sense.
@@peanutismint I mean almost 70k subs
"Premieres" are a retarded throwback to the dark ages of broadcast TV. No thanks. I watch stuff when --I-- feel like it, NOT when it "airs".
Love your content! You’re absolutely smashing it and I cannot wait to see you on the up and up
Good job. There just continues to be more and more reason to come to this channel and then stay and rewatch some favorites. All that's missing now are models with marbles in place of people. lol. I don't even know what you decided to do for a summer finale but it doesn't even matter. This is the best how it works channel on RUclips. Second is Martin's. You do great work.
Excellent video as always. Keep up the great work!
I just rode this last month! I filmed the experience cuz it was so fun!!! Thanks for the video!
Super mooie video schitterend
THE WATER COASTER IS INCREDIBLE!
You upgraded your quality a lot! Keep it on!
WOW Awesome as always TY
Another awesome video. Well done young man
Excellent explanation. Well done.
Rode it last week… so much fun!
Water slides terrify me but I love a good log flume and a Disney-style coaster. I feel like this would be a great thing to try and get me over my fear since it feels more like the others then a water slide where it's just you or a tube.
Awesome
This is so cool!!
Interesting. Thank you
Well... can't wait
I’ve been on this ride and it’s the best water ride i’ve been to.
Holiday World has two of these. So much fun!!
Great video
What the frick that is so cool!!!
I need to look up a POV of this and other things in this park
Great content on how it works. I never knew fhat. I rode the water coaster at lost island water park in Waterloo, Iowa. It’s intense!
Very nice video, would love to try this ride one day.
Is the slide in Siam Park Tenerife that you showed using magnetics as well? I thought the raft was just boosted by the water jets when I was there a few years ago.
YAY that is so cool
Who doesn't love water parks! This was a great video. I bet it uses less power too because those pumps for the water propulsion version are just blasting away all day long, whereas this probably only uses power where the boat is on each hill for a second. So cool!
And the master baster coasters tend to be more dangerous cause they're just spraying water out of the slide towards rider's backs like a fire hose.
@@AmusementLabs They're also more likely to blow your swim suit off. First time ever at a waterpark, and the master blaster at Schlitterbahn almost blew my bikini bottom off my butt. I haven't been to a water park since, but I am never wearing a two piece to one ever again.
@@AmusementLabs Wow. I had no idea, surprised that they did not redesign the boats to have a back surface.
@@neekMarieM14 Wow. That's insane! sheesh.
Great video. Very detail. I was wondering why they always weight people. Now I know now. Great stuff 👍🏻👍🏻
I don’t really like water parks but this place looks nice! Also that wrist band thing for waiting in line is so cool!!
sure beats Disney’s bands doesn’t it?
Great ride....outside of it breaking down throughout the day.
Volcano Bay is what a real water park should be in 2021. Not like in my home Vegas where we have glorified kiddy water rides.
I've just returned from this park and loved the ride.
Another technology I'd love to see explained is the Taputapu band. Am I guessing it is an eInk display with both NFC & Bluetooth and some form of induction charging but it would be interesting to get a full explanation.
Good ride
I want to go to there!
Aside from the red drop slxde ride, I think this is the best ride in the park 😭🔥🔥
I had no idea that there were "clones" of Krakatau. It's a little surreal seeing that ride system used somewhere other than Volcano Bay, since that's the one I'm used to.
Krakatau wasn't the first, it's actually more of a clone. Wildabeast at Holiday World was the first and is better. This guy used the footage but didn't even talk about it.
It's also the same technology that Vancouver's fully automated transport network, the SkyTrain, uses. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SkyTrain_(Vancouver)
Bruh how is there a dislike when the video isn’t even out yet I swear RUclips has dislike bots
4:13 I'm slightly confused as to how you can have a "Non-ferrous plate of galvanized steel" since ferrous means "contains iron". By definition steel is an alloy of carbon and iron.
Edit: Having read the patent filling it appears you meant to say ferromagnetic instead.
Ah yes, you're right. 🤦♂️
Thanks, I was going to ask the same thing.
I always wonder what would happen if the coaster didn't make it up one of the hills?
The pontoon boat would slowly slide backwards and riders would unload carefully onto a deck located at the valley of each drop.
KRAKATAU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you make one of their wave pool?
Just an FYI, there is no such thing as non-ferrous galvanized steel. Steel by definition is ferrous as it is mostly iron, and it is difficult to galvanize non-ferrous metals.
Just what the patent is showing.
Just wondering why we never see this kind of tech on a larger scale outside of theme parks? Like maybe for transportation system or something.
I am sure LIMs/LSMs are being used/considered now to launch planes from aircraft carriers and I think they are starting to be used in elevators too. But I agree, it definitely seems like theme parks are the breeding ground for a lot of exciting tech.
Hi a question my partner has a pacemaker which uses an induction to change her setting can people with pacemakers ride this ride and what's universals opinion?
Oh, that's a good point. I would definitely not be the voice of certainty on that. From what I can see the steel plate would prevent the fields from doing much or spreading up towards the chest, but don't take my word for it, I would contact Universal first or when you get there go to guest relations and talk to operations or someone similar.
Wonder if it affects people sitting in the electric slide. 🤔
Yeah then you have crowded ass walkways and it's so damn hard to get by anyone...they need to speed up their operations on the family raft rides their water coaster runs really well with the moving belt. Is it easy to reset the rafts if they roll back?
Can you wear water shoes on this ride or valcano bay in general?
I think you can, but on other slides no I don't think so.
@@AmusementLabs thanks for the reply, heading to volcano bay today. Staying at cabana bay, on my honeymoon!
You should do dinosaur in animal kingdom
I can’t stop thinking about squidward
People who think this ride is a kids ride is super wrong. Although kids can go on it it’s very intense. The drops actually provide airtime and there’s no seatbelts
My friend went and almost fell off the raft because there was water shooting up his buttock and it broke down.
nice video! one thing you can work on: if you talk, you seems to take a lot of pauses between words. it would be nice if you can talk like it is a continous sentence. this is the only thing that is a less good thing in your video's!
edit: this is only in the start of this video, for the remain of the video it is good
This coaster is not worth the wait in my opinion. I had to wait 240 minutes, the plunge slide in the middle of the volcano is amazing though.
200
Do they really weight you and put people in the rafts according to weight?!?!
Essentially yes. The system can only push so hard.
100th
See, your getting recommended just fine :). Velocicoaster just wasn't an interesting topic.
