I feel pretty sure that you will love this suggestion-it is truly exquisite, in every respect, it is: Glass, Etude no.6 played by the Davin-Levin Duo. I hope you give it a try-it's quite a short piece!
I almost never comment on RUclips--it seems to be the place where people who were dropped on their heads as children, or are drool-bucket village idiots, go to vent hysterically (present company excluded!). But I am compelled. I have loved Glass for almost 40 years, and have listened to this piece many times--but your performance was arrestingly beautiful and really (as others have noted) captured and expressed something of the swinging rhythm in this composition that the many piano recording has not quite conveyed. I have heard it as if for the first time! Truly a virtuosic and heartfelt performance--thank you....and keep 'm coming!
As a llifelong follower of Philip Glass (solo shows in soho lofts 1970's, Einstein MET 1975, Tibet concert #1 Citicorps, At NYU etc. etc., etc.) and Steve Reich (the bottom line, guggenheim, whitney museums), I suggest the world pay attention to this duo who can merge such lovely fouundations into a miraculous whole.
Omg. As a lifelong Glass follower this is just, breathtaking. You brought out the beautiful swaying dynamics and rhythms, subtle and huge, of the piece in a new light. Keep recording! Thank you. Could I suggest Music in Contrary Motion? Please? :)
This absolutely blows me away. I love this piece and to hear it played on wood is truly beautiful. Watching this, I imagine learning to play it and loving the energy of it. I'd love playing it and miss it when not.
Beautiful! I'm a lifelong fan of Philip Glass and I love what is happening out there with his music. This version is sublime. Thanks for this beautiful music. I am picturing the most beautiful Gamelon shadow puppet show. I hope someone with animation skills puts something to this music.
I just heard of this piece yesterday and I'm going around madly listening to all the versions I can find. Wow, this is extraordinary! I can't imagine how you could memorize it. Simone Dinnerstein has a wonderful performance on just out Undersong. Thank you for making my hair stand up.
Solo Piano has been one of my favourite albums since I discovered it a little under a decade ago, and, wow. I don't even know what to say. Please don't stop! This is absolutely fantastic.
I hit the like button around 20 seconds in, switched to fullscreen, then left full screen around 2:50 to like the video again lmao, completely forgot that all it took was the first 20 seconds. Amazing, thanks!
Thank You so very much for sharing... I LOVE Philip Glass and I LOVE this instrument (Marimba), so, what else could I desire???? All my love from Brasil.
Wow this legit gave me chills! Amazing job! You guys are super talented. My goal is to learn this on piano one day. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep it up!
Breathtaking! It feels right at home on the marimba. One of my favourite pieces of all time, and you breathed something new into it. Great job both of you. I'm off for another listen.
So this was sort of Phillip Glass approaching the Steve Reich? I also, in some of Phillip Glasse's piano etudes, I here Arvo Part. // I enjoyed the way they brought out the dynamics, the "breating" of the volume. There is a wonderful gentleness about it. Guys, if you are out there, please see my work with color-association and musical notes. I believe I have pinpointed certain emotions to distinct keys. With proofs! Great work, none-the-less. Your, _Acoustic Rabbit Hole_
This is so beautiful, played with so much nuance and feeling.
Thank you! :)
Why can RUclips be more like this??? You’re gifts have blessed me, thank you so much :)

C’est un marimba ! Le son chaud vient justement du fait que ça ne soit pas un xylophone !
This is one of my favorite videos ever, watch it every week to get my spirits up. Just wanted you guys to know that, kudos.
Thank you! We’re glad you enjoy it :)

Bravo !!👏👏👏 beautiful !
This has been playing in my head most of the day-the first time I've ever welcomed an earworm!
Beautiful! This is such an underrated instrument unfortunately.
It is not popular because the bass notes never really sound musical-as much thud as tone.
I hit the like button around 20 seconds in, switched to fullscreen, then left full screen around 2:50 to like the video again lmao, completely forgot that all it took was the first 20 seconds. Amazing, thanks!
Thank you very much!

I’m really loving the Reich-ian qualities coming out in this, if only from choice of instrument alone! Bravi!
Thanks! I’ve always wondered why Reich was frequently drawn to the marimba but Philip Glass has rarely written for it
