All right, since you asked, I personally think that maybe you should consider hacking one of the dress patterns you've already got. You know they fit, that's good, you know you like them, but maybe with a bit of a change. They even sell add on packs, if you think that would help. There's pictures so you can see how others have made them up. Just my opinion of course. Any way happy sewing and I hope you enjoy your new fabrics. Mrs. K.
Lovely curated wardrobe Lucy and colours are fab.Its an extension of your current wardrobe so easily slots in and gives u more options for mixing and matching xxx
Just found you cause it’s gonna be the make of the year I believe. A good friend - also a vlogger like us is going to make it. I’m not a wrap dress girl but hun you’re owning that dress! I would have loved to see the collar. And I am loving it !! 🦩💖🦩💖
Hi! New sub here. I really like your plans and how the fabrics match together. I don’t live far from Bungay (they call it Bungee here) and I did not know about that fabric shop so thanks for sharing 😊
I love the way you've gone about this! I'm at the beginning stages of curating a sustainable me-made wardrobe and I also started with trying to find colours that would play well together and look good on me. I've subscribed so that I can follow your progress and gain some inspiration on my own journey. I'm basically starting from ground zero with my wardrobe as between a flood, medical issues and job loss, I decided to focus on wearing what I already had for sustainability, but now everything other than my more formal clothes is currently worn out past the point of repair. As you are where I hope to be in a couple years, is there any advice you would give to someone just starting out?
Hi there. Firstly, congratulations on committing to this. It's a big ask in my opinion. Keep an eye on the trends and see what's hot and what's not. Make sure the style will even suit you before you try and recreate it. But a pattern with multiple versions within it. Your pattern will then stand the test of time. Find a trousers pattern that has a timeless look. I choose the miller trousers and the Bob trousers for spring summer. Find the 1 pair of jeans that you can nail the fit of. Don't get sucked into impulse buying. Make a Pinterest board of things you like, stand back and see what colours seem to appear on repeat. If you scroll back on RUclips you will see a wardrobe I made in the same way a few years ago. 1 top I never really wore (wrong colours) and 1 top got damaged but the rest I do wear quite alot. I hope this helps a little

Hi great content !. Is there an online shop for the fabric you’ve shown ?
Ooh - most fabric came from a shop called Sew and So, its in Bungay
What was the video you mentioned that got you on this way of choosing what you plan to make?
