It’s sad besides the horrible zombies and gameplay the game looks good. I did like that every drawer and cabinet can be searched. I think with a lot of work this game could actually be good.
I don't know if anyone mentioned this. The more noise (running, shooting, searching.....) the more zombies that spawn in from the bull dog system. Also if you create a character and go to the shooting range, the gear you equip there can be a load out as you spawn into single player. I haven't played in a long time so that may have changed. Glad you were able to find enjoyment in it even though its rough. Have a good one.
Now I understand why people was sad when it came out. After a kickstarter of more then 1 million $

Hey, Community Manager for Dead Matter here! We know the release wasn't something anyone really liked, however we are working hard to get things out there for the people who are still wanting this game. In the past there were issues with funds being handled by parties who aren't present anymore in either QI or Dead Matter. We are only about 2 to 3 man team at the moment and one of those members (head Dev) is the only coder. Though it is a slow process for us, we are working tirelessly for the game to get where it deserves to be. At the moment we are working on a Summer update which is almost ready to launch into testing branch for everyone to try! If you have any questions, reply here!

@@SergeantKelvin dont get fooled by him, the Project is dead - the Lead Dev has no more money to even keep the website running 24/7, they cancaled there "Nightly Updates" because they cant afford to keep the Pipeline for it running - instead of fixing bugs he keeps addng features that just produce more bugs and f*ck up every single system he worked on for the past months, after every update he basicly is recoding everything he did in the last update because "the Spagetti code of the ex devs caused the bugs".
after the last big update i submitted dozens of bugs, tried to help as much as possible to get critical crashs fixed by submitting the crash logs, NONE of those bugs and crashes are fixed at this point, he just didnt care about any bug reports.
also dont get fooled by there discord, 48k members? 10 are active, those 10 insult EVERYONE that asks questions that could be critical in the slightest way, there daily Business on the discord is basicly making Racist Jokes, Slanding Religions and Ethnies and even making fun of the Holocaust, the Lead Dev and his Mods are also doing those Jokes

lets not even talk about the money they burned in this process, one of the biggest things that disgusted me is when he started blaming the backers for the process of the game, because they "didnt give enough feedback, so its there fault for the bad release"
Please dont give this game any attention, it doesnt deserve it.
So where did all the money you stole from your backers go? It's wasted on cars, party and drugs. A f...... scam, and everyone knows it.

It should be showing that you start with from the choosen occupations. Firefighter gives you a fireaxe as you you first spawn inn. Police used to give a handgun. Not sure if it still is...
Burglar i think gives you a lockpick at least, and maybe a crowbar?!

When you said "going out Negan style" it made me think earlier in the game you found nails while searching somewhere, wonder if you can add nails to a baseball bat?

@SergeantKelvin it's a shame there were quite a few issues because honestly there was quite a few glimpses of what could be a really good game hiding in there. If the bugs are worked out and the game progression/story line fleshed out properly they could turn this game around into something half decent

dang. for so many negative reviews, it reallly _looks_ good though. The photo-realism is pretty immersive. A shame it's so janky. It'd be nice if they are still working on it (I don't know, haven't checked)

Looks better but not even close to being an acceptable purchase. I luckily got a full refund as I backed the game and sent them an email and managed to get my money back

There goes nearly an hour that you could have been playing Rust and getting killed a dozen times. I'd ask the devs for a refund if I was you. Not for your money, but for yor time. Seriously though I had considered this game, because I love survival games. good thing I stopped here first, and also read a lot of discussions on the game in Steam, it's history and the devs. And it ain't pretty. Neither are these zombies. They all move like they are disabled. Canned goat? It's all really too bad, because this looks like it could have been a decent game. I think the devs must be teenagers, they speak to the investors/buyers with contempt and disrespect. I don't really want to buy games from that sort. I got my miracle in No Man's Sky, whent the devs persevered rather than threw a hissy fit. They just worked their tail off for years and eventually put out a great game. I was in on the ground floor on that one, but definitely won't be on this one. So when are you planning on streaming the next episode for this, LOL. I'll take the $10 saved from today from not buying this, and put it down towards Once Human next week I think. Thanks for making the effort to play this game though. You were entertaining depite the game not being. Take care there Kelvin, and have a happy 4th of July.

Do you know how many bloody zombie games you have played and showed folks (and me) and then I wanna play them? Damnit! AHAHAHAH....another one to add to the list now. Visually looks very very good.
Take this one with a grain of salt! It's SOO close to being something not frustrating, but I don't think it's there quite yet.
