It seems you hate this type of residential areas, I've seen a lot of Russians that do. They can be categorised in two groups, one group consisted of patriotic ones who wants their city to look as rich & beautiful as western countries and others are Pro-western ones. One thing is common between them is that they have some ideas about how typical western neighbourhoods look like and they compare them with anthills they see in Russia; however, often they fail to see the full picture in the west amid all those carefully and effectively presented images of "rich western countries" Russians who've been abroad knows this reality, not everything is picture perfect in the West. I'm not saying Russia is perfect but I see a lot of positive prospects in this "anthills" for future developments. St petersburg has a population of over 5 millions which is the same population of Norway, and the population will always grow, and there will be always people with low income, if these anthills aren’t build there the city center will be congested and the city will expand uncontrollably, then it won't be possible to even make this anthills is a well planned way, rich and poor will live side by side which will create more frustration among people, the overall living condition will be poor, crime will enhance, poor people's chance to better their position by educating their children will be gone And another thing, this will give authorities the flexibility to the much needed reconstruction & renovation of city center, I've seen many soviet era buildings (specially stalinkas) that look very good outside architecturally but with horrible inner condition, people still live in those, if they can be relocated here, those buildings can be turned into spacious apartments for families with 3/4 children with proper facilities, as financial condition of people living in these suburbs will grow and their families will extend they will be able to move to the nice apartments, this is like climbing ladders, I think the government has some very benevolent & people centric purposes of building this "anthills"
inside it looks not that terrible in comparison with Soviet time ones, but in the districts of every Western country there is a same picture, Switzerland, Germany..... All modern buildings are ugly and we call the word "architecture" only houses that were built in the 19th century and before. It's sad, urban building genocide swept the whole world, it's started with USSR and Nazi Germany "Koloss von prora" for example it's worse than Soviet ones in 100 times, although the USSR tried to abandon such houses proposed by a completely non-Russian architect who called the architecture of Paris and Russia senseless and costly, USSR didn't has choice because the war.
Certainly most people wouldn´t wish to live in a beehive, but there may not have much of a choice when personal imcome is limiting. However, there appears to be an offering a variety of living spaces that may appeal to people not necessarily of low income. What I can´t imagine are the legal requirement for the organization and administration of all the services in each beehive or group of beehives/anthills. The robot monitoring the grounds is a good idea.
All Western cities have districts like this, but in districts like this in Western cities, the streets are full of dangerous looking people, criminals, shitty people screaming and making noise, etc. In Russia, in the streets of even the worse districts, like this, you only see normal people. Districts like this in Russia are safe, while in the West they are very dangerous, horror places. The worse districts of New York, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, etc. are MUCH WORSE than this.... and 5 times more expensive.... Watching your videos of the worse districts of Russia, everybody can see that crime rate in the West is much higher than in Russia and that life in Russia is much more calm and peaceful.. I live in a residential area on the beach in the Mediterranean with houses with gardens and pools, and in one of the streets there is also an abandoned car that has been destroyed by some vandals. This happens even in the best districts in the West. You also see abandoned buildings, hotels, etc. not finished because of the crisis, even in the best coastal areas or best districts of big cities. The difference, is that most abandoned buildings in the West, even in luxury districts, are full of squatters and you would be afraid to walk next to them....Putin doesn't allow squatters in abandoned buildings in good districts... Have you ever been to the West?
Hey, buddy. Those apartments complexes are huge and colorful. Ant hills is right. Ha! Honestly I wouldn't like living like that. I live in a very rural area and my neighbors are at a distance from me. What was that little Yandix cart that was moving around? A robot? Was does it carry? Enjoyed another video
yes! It was delivery robot. so far it only delivers food but in the future it can be smth else. I've been shocked to see it for the first time in such area like Murino but not on the central streets like Nevskii or smth. Anyway, hope that was I safety

🙄🥱😕😕🤔Okay, am I missing something here? Well, first, if you look at some of the big cities in the West e.g., they have the same "anthills" to warehouse poor people, in New York City, Chicago, etc., they are called "Projects." They are infested with gangs and a magnet for crimes and drugs. Second, they look much better than those dilapidated "flats" that they used to live in during the Soviet era. Third, it's a quick fix to the housing shortage in that country, and an economic way of providing decent housing for people with limited resources. Everything there seem to be centralized, schools, daycare centers, shopping stores, medical clinics, etc. Why is the West always criticizing and finding diminutive names to describe other countries' projects or proposed solutions to remedy their daily challenges? Why not focus on finding solutions for their own problems. I pray and hope it does not become crime-infested like those of Western countries. 😃at least they have a robotic cop keeping eyes on things. It's all up to the people in every country to maintain and preserve what they have in order to enjoy a quiet, clean, peaceful, and enjoyable living environment. Perhaps they need to stop copying the "ills" of the West like the Graffities. The kids that mess up the place need a good ass whipping! or send those little hoodlums to military schools! That's my opinion!
our Western politicians with their controlled mainstream propaganda try to make us believe that the West is much better than Russia in everything, when everybody can see on youtube that Russia is better than the West practically in everything, like for example comparing poor districts in Russia and the West,.. in the West they are inhuman places, as you describe very well, and in Russia they are simple but calm and peaceful places.
@@peterburh in the West, ALL districts like this are ghettos. It’s because people don’t have so much freedom in Russia. People more calm here because of that. Those who don’t care about their future can do something crazy things of course, but ones who wanna grow don’t do that. No one wants to be judged by the court and go to the Russian jail.
@@peterburh if you want to convince anyone in Western countries than bad poor districts in Russia are worse than in the West, you are doing the opposite thing. Everybody from a Western country that watches your videos of the "worse" poorest Russian districts sees that these districts are much better, they cannot compare to the worse Western districts...
