That was nice too see the inside of one of these huge apartment buildings. Its impressive how clean and organize the seems to be. With so many people living in one. Dima I am. also impressed at how fast you got your ass down them stairs hahaha. I am glad you figured out your internet and able to post again.

Thanks Dima! very interesting. Do most folks in your area live in the anthills? Would also be interesting to see an apartment (even if it is just the floor plans from a website). Also, if you have the time and interest, might be interesting to add some audio after filming pointing out anything that strikes your interest. Also, these mostly seem like pretty new construction. Are there older ones around also? How are they holding up? Any differences vs the newer ones?

These remind me of the dorms I used to stay in. Luckily, I lived on the second floor so I would just take the stairs since it was faster than waiting for the elevator even with my bad knees.😅

These towers are a more modern version of your called ant-hills. I would think that they would be more attractive to locals. Some people may be attracted by St. Petersburg, but depending on their preferences for living space they may like this type, an older apartment, or one with more space which is more costly. It doesn´t mean that outsiders are crazy for wanting to live there. Personally, I think it is an attractive city and the people who live there are good citizens. I would like to know in which district this community is located. Thank you, Dima for your generosity.

And a defenestration platform on every floor. How convenient!

All those doors. Reminded me of Wolfenstein 3D. But no "Achtung!"

Those buildings are incredible. They must house so many people. Do you by any chance know approximately how many people live in each one? I'm gonna guess upwards of 1,000.

You was really close :)) in one building like that we have 1017 apartments. But I think there lives on average not 1 person, but at least 2. A lot of young people rent apartments together. And a lot of Middle East workers live 5-10 people in one room…
80.000 people lives at this little piece of land. Incredible numbers 🫣

@@peterburh To have more than 3 people live in such a cramped space seems crazy to me let alone 10 people 😵. I would like see these type of buildings in LA to address the housing shortage but I think the size is too small for the standard that the city holds.

@@peterburh Thank you❤, I think it also depends on the square meter of each apartment there.

Looks more like China 🇨🇳 😂
But China is moving forward, Russia is going back to the 1960s
