Antonio Perkins was like a big bro a super hero to me being from Lawton we don’t have a lot of famous people to look up to but I use to go to all his games I was like in the 8th grade I wanted to play just like him and we went to rival schools he went to Lawton High and I graduated from Eisenhower…that man was great from Highschool to College…my big bro Antonio Perkins…Lawton Legend
That's lil bro man. Much love for Perk
I can understand the thought that having bad reps can be advantageous for the movement of the body. On the flip side of that, it’s important to teach the movement correctly and coach it that way because football and many other sports are about precision. You need to be able to do the movement as perfect as possible under a lot of stress. It’s easy to cheat a movement and “get it done” when it’s hard. It’s harder to do the movement perfectly when you’re under a tremendous amount of stress/ pressure and your body is telling you to cut this rep short but you mentally force yourself to do something that is against your instincts. The players you can depend on, for example the squat, are the ones who will hit full depth each rep and fight through the pain and adversity the lift will bring. That’s the mental battle of S&C that translate. BV wants them to get it done as perfect as possible, consistently because that’s what leads to great habits.
Damn I remember running those ramps with coach Ed
Lol...
Zero games right.
SBT represent!
Indeed....thas FAMM!!!
Tommie Harris 4.68 40. That’s insane at his size.
Rolling. Such an athlete.
These stories seem like yall got it in wayyy worse than Schmitty summers now.. maybe the current players just don’t want to get into detail on their workouts
He's had to water things down. Late 2000s they started "tattle telling" on coach. Keep me response to myself.
@@damian5225 smh 🤦🏽♂️ newer generations lol!!! Bro don’t be watering shit down at the hands of risking national championships lol
@@dwayneoukid We can chat about the reason to “water things down” at the beginning of our next episode. Maybe some additional bonus content to go at the front because we’ll dive into 7v7 heavily this next go round.
@@spacemon25 that’s dope, glad to assist in content development! Keep doing great things fellas and helping us outsider fans understand more
