I cannot thank you enough for this video. My baby boy is 2 weeks today and I have been struggling with baby blues since the third day after giving birth. I have been feeling so lost and inadequate, like nothing I do is right or enough. While I do have support and I’m eternally grateful to be healthy, have a healthy baby I do feel lonely at times. My husband tries but doesn’t understand why I’m feeling this way and why I can’t help it. It’s very relatable to see someone being open about postpartum struggles and not make it sound like it’s all rainbows and butterflies. I appreciate you being open about this and your experience. It’s helped me see other women also go through this and gives me hope it will get better with time.

Aw I’m so happy you could find comfort in this video. It can be such a tough time for some moms. There’s a lot more moms that feel the same way! We just don’t even know! I promise it gets better. You adjust with time. You and your baby will evolve together. ❤️

“The days are long, but the years are short” is what the elders always told me & that was such a true statement. I remember being deep in my 4th trimester with a crying ass baby and we staring at each other like “I don’t like you and you don’t like me so wassup???” 😂 postpartum is so hard! I’m so glad you touched on how difficult breastfeeding was but how as a mom your whole ethos is tied to it and so even though you know it’s about to be excruciating to feed this baby, you do it anyways cause what else will the baby eat!? So so real. I plan on doing things differently this time around with this new baby, the main thing being GETTING OUT OF MY OWN WAY! I’m letting any and every one who wants to come help to come help. It’s not just a baby being given birth too, it’s a new and completely changed woman as well. Both need nurturing ❤

Suchhhhh a true statement! It’s good you had people in your corner sharing that!
That’s the good thing about the second baby.. you get to go in with experience so you can make some adjustments! I really hope you have a good postpartum & breastfeeding experience with baby #2

Omg! I hate the internet/TikTok! I would cry every day because of the “advice” that was given about co-sleeping etc but that’s what was working for me. 😢 I can completely relate Jess. Thank you for your transparency

I can definitely relate. I had to go back to work after my baby got about 4mths and I would literally be crying driving to and from work. I can say it gets better sis, hang in there💕

Thank you for sharing your story momma. It is very similar to mine and I feel seen and heard just hearing you acknowledge all of this. I had an unplanned C-section and now have baby number 2 on the way and trying for a vbac. I'm a new subbie. Looking forward to watching more from you.

I looveee these messages. It really makes me happy to know people can relate and feel seen! You can do it! I had a successful VBAC and my doc has done a lot. Women are very capable. I think docs just like go the easy/safe route and do c-sections. I hope you have a more positive experience this time around. For both your birth and postpartum experience! ❤️ thank you for subscribing.
