What’s the name of the Anchorage?
Sa Calobra, Mallorca :)
@@SailingUma That's where the opening scene in Cloud Atlas with Tom Hanks picking up rocks from the beach was filmed.
oh wow. That's something I did not know! super cool.
the creek is called "torrent de pareis" hope you guys walked it down a little bit, it's beutiful!
I'm developing quite a soft spot for Maya . She's a perfect fit on this channel.
I just finished winterizing my liveaboard.. a 2-week long process of moving dozens of bins and packs down a ladder, and pumping 12 bottles of glycol around various systems.
You guys are doin' it right. When I bought my boat 7 years ago, I had every intention of cutting the lines. And yet, here I am, still in Ontario, still working to make her "perfect." Every year, just a bit older. Watching your adventures is so cathartic. :)
Fair winds. And, coincidentally, you've all got some seriously graceful movement on rock.
The bed idea with the mainsail looks so comfortable!
Thanks!
you're awesome✨😃
What an awesome episode! The gorgeous anchorages! The rock climbing, deep dive! The solar tube bread and sleeping in the mainsail! Thanks guys!
Lovely episode! I could almost taste the cake! Maya is a brilliant, intuitive cook. She understands the physics and chemistry of what needs to go on, and ad libs with what is to hand! You guys have got into a peak state of fitness. That climbing sequence was awesome. I think the girls have more muscles than Dan though!!! And still in Majorca now, 7 months now, I think?
I know it was tongue in cheek, but Dan probably has about 30% more strength than the women. Men of similar height usually do...
Damn no kidding, Kika is built like a bsh!
She sounds like she went to culinary school or worked as a chef or something.
I truly love this channel, every single episode has been beautiful, for me especially the night crossing, that is so calm and peaceful.
Glad you enjoyed it, I live like 20 mins from Sa Calobra, it is indeed a very very beautiful place.
Great to see the great spot again through your eyes 😊 i ˋve been as a child there 20 years ago. The mountains of Mallorca are so beautyful too. 🥰
Love Puerto Soller. Spent a beautifl day in those waters a few years ago. Magical.
Das Boat Gut! Wonderful sun fun& sail. Thank you.
You Three are living the Dream. Happy Adventure and God Bless to All.
The rock scramble diving was pretty sick. Looks like great fun.
I hope your sponsors realize how much time you put in.. You are the ONLY channel that I actually don't fast forward past the sponsor portion. Great job guys!
Problem is that it sadly is a scam
@@aculleon2901 the Title company? They have been around for at least 20 years. Remember the ads back in the early 2000’s at least.
@@danfadden And still people falling to this.... All claims about obtaining a title, planting trees, etc are simply FALSE. You are just buying an expensive piece of paper.
@@stigmarestroom It's a donation. I've seen Scotland. It NEEDS trees!
I agree 100%
Excellent scenery! And very interesting with the solar oven! Thanks for taking us back to Mallorca! And it was great to get together in Netherlands ❤
Love Maya’s (sp?) energy! What a fun guest to have on board.
Thanks for letting me tag along! The scenery was amazing!
Hi you all, that rock climbing and Diving was neat. I could almost taste that long baking recipe. Scenery always good. Thanks and see you around.
love the intro. What a great way to live your life, and you guys do a great job telling your story.
Wow! What an awesome video. I LOVED it, and the Anchorage is magnificent. I can’t even imagine what it would look like being there in real life. When Dan first jumped and it literally looked like he was in a saltwater swimming pool that was the coolest thing.
PeaceAndLove
Lori
I was wondering if they had a light mounted under the boat or what.
Love the takes of Uma Taking the waves on the reach. Brings great memories. Thanks
lovely episode!
Great to see V again.
Always admire the creativity you put in your ads.
Yeah you did, in Rio Duce, 6:00 coming out there was big cliffs..!! 😎
That looked like a whole lot of fun, you guys will have to stay in Mallorca all season long!
Great episdoe as ever! Maya's awesome! Climbing looked like great fun and I could almost taste that cake :-)!
Stop staring at Maya…
Maya is an ANIMAL ! I mean that in the best way possible ... so strong !
Wowww, Maya is awesome 💪 , and you guys are officially "3 the hard way", because all of you are multi-talented, and compliment each other. You guys rock 💪, thanks for sharing and safe travels 🙏
I am a chef by trade. I have to tell you that I am impressed with the baking nice. And using that sun stove oven. Have fun!!!!!!
it's nice that you have as much fun in the cold north as in the hot south.
I see you were reading Taylor Camp. I flew from home on Kauai to Sweden to sailing Mallorca and Ibiza about 6 years ago. Enjoy those spanish Mediterranean islands.. so different than our tropical islands. I'm sure Hawaii is on your list.
What an enjoyable Step! It was nice to see Maya again. And that "tube bread" looked tasty. Yummmm. I just finished watching Project Atticus and who do you think I saw there? lol
I just finished watching Sailing Zatara.
How wonderful that you had another bed available for your guest and it was on sail as well...
Great fun Episode guys well done, cool Sun Oven!
I'm a big fan of both your channel and Project Atticus since the joint show(s) you aired years ago. Seeing you both circling the same locations in the Med. has me hoping to see you all link up again! :)
I agree. The joint episode of Sailing Uma and Project Atticus was milestone in RUclips sailing channels. Love both couples.
Oh yes Dan that does look really good, beautiful, firm to the touch...oops sorry were you talking about the cake.... Nice job guys, love your work !!!
Love your "Don't Buy a Couch" t-shirt so much, I bought one and am wearing it in my latest YT thumbnail... with a link to your store provided. Thanks for getting it to me so soon!
Fun idea to sleep on the boom! I slept under the clear sky 3x, 2x in Marocco, 1x on a Gulet in Turkey. Always nice to see so many stars! The milkyway, satelites passing overhead. And waking at the crack of down is magical. Specially when someone brings you fresh hot Coffee!😉
Absolutely gorgeous anchorage!
So cool to se you in my hometown after years seeing you all around the world through a screen!
Beautiful spot and Maya is a great cook
Wow! I haven't seen the sun oven since the Bahamas when you guys used it to make brownies. It's been quite a while
The bahamas was the last time we had a good sunny day.
You sneaky‐sneakers....lol, catching up with Attiicus.....love it 👍
That looked fun, but crowded. In midsummer my son and I drowe to Restaurante Es Vergeret in Cala Tuente som km to the west. Magnificent view and atmosphere, and relatively tourist free.
Wow, never thought about lazy jack as a bed. Need to try!
I think the reason why the anchor places and little harbours are not so full on saturdays an sundays is because its the time that many of the boats have to return to the charter base. Good to know for "ownwers". Have a great time!
That gosun recipe looked pretty good. I might try something in that vein baked in a baguette pan.
I don’t know which I liked better, the solar baked bread or sleeping in the sail sack! Thanks for sharing.

Virginia Beach
My daughter slept in the sail bag for a week in greece - loved it!
Hopefully of her own free will?
It's a beautiful episode in so many ways! Thank you!
I'd have to have a SCUBA tank compressor and a pair of Cressi freediving fins for when I didn't feel like gearing up. The climbing looks like a blast.
Gotta be honest, I’ve thought about that GoSun a couple times since the episode you got it. Great to see it worked well in the warm climates. Great episode as always!
That was a proper sail. To a beautiful anchorage.
Sleeping in the mast looks wonderful!
I’m always amazed at how much stuff you have onboard from the Go Sun to Arctic gear! Mya is a hoot. Listening to her talk about what she is baking was hysterical. By the way did you warn Mya about getting up in the middle of the night?
Great episode guys. I really loved in. Amazing content and editing as always. Such a very beautiful place. Thanks so much for sharing your extraordinary exciting adventures with all of us. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
I've never cooked with sunshine before! How cool!
You guys have so much fun. Enjoy!!
I have enjoyed watching Sailing Uma for several years and have watched almost all episodes. In the latest episode with Dan's friend Mya, Kika mentions that she (Mya) is the first overnight guest that they have had in many years. Well, that brought to mind, what happened to Sev. He helped out sailing for sometime during 2017-18, on Rio Dulce in Guatemala. He just seemed to disappear at some point. Can you give an update of what became of Sev.
Comment failed to post.
I think we mentioned it in the video of leaving Guatemalla. But he had to stay behind to get his US visa. We were supposed to meet him in the USA and carry on across the Atlantic, but when we decided to slow down and cross next year, he found another sailboat to take him accross. He's in Germany now, working on a farm last time we heard.
Parabolic cooking is an awesome way of cooking.
Another great video you guys! As a content creator, I really appreciated your creative take on the sponsored ad! I watched it twice. Brilliant.
Ya'll are inspiring! Cheers!
Too bad Established Titles is a scam.
Forget about the climbing and cake, I loved the sleeping on the boom idea! I plan on trying it on my boat. :)
Regarding the crowded anchor spot on Monday: I would guess a lot of the additional sailing boats were chartes, which usually start on Saturday to Saturday. So they will stay in the harbour on weekends but are out on the most famous spots during the week
I bought one of those mystery tubes when you guys first used it. It does take good sunlight to get things cooked in it. Mine is in storage now. lol
You all have so much fun , why didn't I do that when I was younger?? I've always been a boat 🚢 man
Now I know why people like Majorca so much, nice to see beautiful Maya again
❤ Chopping salt into twilight. Lords of Uma free solo Mallorcan holds. Documenting friendship’s fun. Sun baked cakey, minus the eggs. Drifting off to sleep, nestled in the main sail. What might the stars have in store?
New crew member definitely fits in, was a little worried at first, but she is perfect, She is a Goddess just like Kiki, Dan you are a lucky man. If you ever need a new crew member let me know.
She's not a crew member, just a friend on a visit.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 just a friend on visit, very lucky to have friends that travel around the world Iike they do. What amazing lifestyle to be part of
@@jclements65 They weren't lucky, they made it happen with hard work and starting with less than $5k savings if I recall correctly.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 The comments are meant for Dan and Kiki ,
Thank you
Great job guys, I must get me one of those Gosun things.
a great xmas present for my son. keep up the great wrok
13:50 yeah I think we see it too 😂😂😂
In Europe, especially in the summer, there are many boats from sunday to friday, because charter boats change everywhere on saturdays. Rental is normally from saturday to saturday. And in Croatia, where we go, such crowd is normal in the summer. When you are near Slovenia and Croatia, if you want some advice, let me know! :)
I hope Uma will visit Croatia and Slovenia. Been there for now, 11 years on holidays so maybe we can share some must to see places. The most perfect place for island hopping!
Which are your favorite anchorages or towns/cities?
Here are a few of mine: Kornati arpielagio: Smokvica Vela is one of my favourites(well protected when Bora strikes) next to Telascica, Veli Iz, Susak, Losinj… too many islands to list up here.
Cities you have to visit: Zadar, Trogir, Pula, and my favorite Rovinj. I might be biased about the last one because of a very special evening there, but anyways, that’s another story.
I’m curious about your favorite spots over there… ;-)
Cheers!
My first love was a girl from Croatia.
@@EltoV My favorites are in south Dalmatia: Vis is at the top, perfect for renting a scooter and exploring.. then Lastovo, Hvar - the city and all of Hvar, Šolta, Korčula, Brač, Primošten... In the north I like Molat, Silba, Olib, Ilovik, Rab... Lots of beautiful places. :)
Three cheers for chef Maya ! Happy holidays from Montana !
Having suffered road-rash before from a motorcycle incident I would probably think twice, maybe even thrice, before climbing mostly naked on those meat grater volcanic rocks.
What a contrast there is between anchoring in the solitude of the Svalbard wilderness with only polar bears for company and the congestion of super yachts in the Med.
LoL the wall climbing reminds me of Wipeout, where the wall punches back 🤪
Dan and Kika you're awesome!! Thanks for sharing your adventure!! PS: Maya is a neat lady too
Hey Dan and Kika! You're nerdy enough you might like this guy who built a sailboat out of a smoke stack. His channel is called sailing SV pipe dream. He only has 300 subscribers but he's doing one of the more interesting things I've seen.
i cant help to ask myself why im stuck in rainy gray sweden atm, 0°C and rain, when i could technically be sailing in the med :'( Looks amazing guys!
Im in Norway thinking the same! Atleast im living in my sailboat so im already on the way in a way :D
A fellow Norwegian Sailing Uma-watcher! It has been super cold this last week and my sailboat is now frozen in the ice so I couldn't go sailing even if I wanted to (which I don't since it would be freezing cold and dark). Guess we'll just have to stay warm while watching these videos until summer comes around!
@@Nifilheimur, you should get under way.
Du......
@@AlotOfSunInHeaven Im actually Icelandic but live in my boat in Oslofjord. Thankfully no ice here yet but sleet and rain most days so not so tempting sailing weather hehe
Just.. BRILLIANT. Tks guy's.
J&G (NZ)
25:22.., Dan is a mastermind, he cuts 3 slices one of which is larger than the other two, he knows that the girls will not want to be seen as greedy bloaters so they will refuse the larger slice, leaving it for Dan.
Love when 2 Kika are in these videos. 2 is better than one
That anchorage is gorgeous!
Did everybody just fall in love with Maya... or was it just me??
Love the sleeping in the main sail!
you make my day ,,again,,,from a snowy day in Quebec city..
Looked like na lot of fun. Again expert sailing. Maya, what a doll…never liked a lady with obvious tats until Maya. Dan , lucky guy you, with two drop dead beautiful ladies to spend time with.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🥃
Established Titles is popping up everywhere. I actually purchased one for my daughter weeks back. There's going to be lots of Lords and Ladies at airports soon. Lol. Love the oven ... I want one for my hot hot sunny Queensland apartment balcony. Gorgeous anchorage.
No, there will not be many lords or ladies, it is a scam. There are several you tube channels explaining why
@@pa4tim ... ha. Looks like you've fallen for those YT channels who wish to drive up their own populatity and income. Established Titles state the 'purchase' is a souvenir. They explain the use of lord and lady too. They have aligned with three charities that are easy to contact. Joking about airports and all the passengers booking tickets with lord or lady will happen. And is. In most cases there is no law against doing so. Scams can look credible and credible looking businesses can be scams. Those YT videos are loud and twist the truth. ET have cleverly formulated a business that donates to charity, assists in preservation and delivers a product as described. Common sense should step in ... it's not a scam rather it's people expecting it to be something it is not. It's just a bit of fun.
Established Titles is a Scam.
The 'Titles' aren't real, or every Homeowner in Scotland would have one.
Established Titles isn't a Registered Charity, there's no proof of where the money goes - the company, and related entities, are all registered in Tax Havens.
They changed their name from 'Highland Titles'.
Making a pantomime of Scottish Culture and Heritage for Private Profit is in really poor taste.
Great again. Thanks for sharing.
Julia, this is the channel I was talking about. you should binge watch..
Dan and Kika I love your videos and look forward to seeing many more steps
Thanks! enjoy the binge watch Julia (we’ve come a long way 😉)
I am always amazed to see a '72? Pearson in such good condition as you sail it around the world! Didn't it used to be a "racing boat with a canting keel"? ;)
Uma, cc Atticus :
🌍🌊🌊👁️⚓⛵⛵⚓⚓⚓🗺️
I just saw Atticus vid in Mallorca, your latest rendezvous!
(Note, I was sending message comments on Atticus vids that your two boats were both intersecting in the Med...
maybe possibly I get a bit credit- .(?) No idea of your mutual awareness & communication, THOUGH). Regardless. It's so cool you two met up again. Yay!
I had a thought:
Five years since your boats crossed paths?
I would soooo love to have been (or be, next) a "fly on the wall" as you guys trade sea stories and tech banter, and catch up. Five years of juicy goodness, laughs and tales!!!!!
Hang up a couple-four of Go Pros, crack some beers and rum 🏴☠️, forget about the cams, and spin some yarns late into the night. An hour long video...
Arrrr!!!
Maybe maybe Malta?...⚓🌍⚓
Atticus?
You've let go doing those great, fun, monthly live stream parties. Do one in Malta with Dan & Kika!
The drinking word is, "baby"?

Please enjoy your selfs
Kiki told a nurse today to watch your channel, she had your eyes & voice but have been told to not guess where people are from, but bet Haiti.
Just found this channel today, living the dream is a understatement. One man and two beautiful women! Congratulations.
As soon as I saw the Gosun, my first thought was, "Oh man, that would be GREAT for baking pasta dishes".
I love Majorca, such a great place.
That sun cake looks really good!
Love you guys so much. We have quite a bit of Uma merch, and share y'all with others.
HOWEVER, the sponsor of this video is a well known and thoroughly documented scam. The land "purchase" isn't legal in Scotland. You can't get a title just by owning land (even if you actually owned land), and there is no evidence that the company actually plants anything.
All you get for your money is a worthless pdf - unless you pay extra for a physical print.
I know you need (and deserve) sponsorship, but please vet the offers before accepting them.
Good idea this hammock 👍🏼
