Thank you very much for the lovely tour Professor. I have a very very humble request and wish, that you please make a video on that. I request a good video on what is 1)"Information Systems (MIS)", 2) It's Industry focus & career pathways. 3) Academia & research happening. 4) Scope of growth in future. 5) Areas of interests that one can pursue in it. And a lot more..!! We do have a tremendous amount of information about CSE, AI, ML, Cybersecurity and related parent domains and everything in US and India as well, but this area of IS is just picking up, especially in India, from know-how perspective, but there are almost negligible courses in masters very especially or bachelors, available in India as of now. Even the Top B schools, don't have a master's program and neither do the other colleges/univs after them. They only offer plain MBA or then a PhD in IS. Since this is your area, it would be very much helpful if you can just dedicate a video to this, as it will be very helpful for students who wish to pursue something in the area of CS with Business overlap and many others would get interested in it after your video, for those who are not at all aware or just casually know and shall end up deciding for core CSE or software engg. alone. You explaining, what all pathways this area of IS offers, would be very much beneficial and helpful to decide things. ( Also, a series of videos can be started wherein you may invite other experts and professors and let them explain, their area, what it has, what products can be built and where the research is heading to and a lot more..!! (Just a random suggestion, Professor. :) ) Thanks.
Thanks, sir...... we appreciate your efforts to show us your university!!! I just wanted to know your thoughts on the competitive exams in India. some of my senior schoolmates scored 715/720 in NEET, yet they couldn't get into a single central gov. college. One of them is now in a depression. In JEE, too, 98% in mains couldn't land my schoolmate into single NITs........Most colleges do not provide skills, nor do they promote research. (my dad did some research, and for this, he only got 2 thousand rupees from uni. )Salaries are here getting worse... All the flashy packages are for the top 1% or even less. I feel that I should leave India for another country (my preference is Germany) yet, all of the people around me are discouraging me from emigrating. they say that good days are about to come. despite this, most of them are suffering economically with 10K-40K salaries. I don't wanna be like them.
Don't spread misinformation. I know someone who scored 590 in neet and still got government college. And if you are in general category, 98 %ile is less to get a NIT. Still u can wait for last round of counselling.
@@Apurvanotfound If you are determined to get into IIT, you should be studying now rather than spreading misinformation regarding our education system. Your teachers are demotivating you and you are not even verifying the info
Are you on weed or something 😂? 715/720 means the student will get selected for AIIMS Delhi ( the top medical institute in the country) even if he is from general category. The general category cut-off for govt mbbs colleges this year was 580. Or it might be you have mistakenly written 715 instead of 515. And then again if you get 98% in JEE MAINS it might be difficult to get CSE in top of the top NITs but you can most probably get a NIT seat. Get your facts checked. The competition is high but what you stated is amplified beyond reality.
Very eagerly waiting for you to upload.
Love from India
