Immigration tension is not worth it if you are close to your parents. I worked on H1 for 5.5 yrs and moved back to India in dec 2016 after Trump won. I got remote job with US client and working from India still earning six figures dollar salary. I know multiple ppl in similar situation. I now travel to US on B1 now every year for 1 month.

Many years ago, a colleague returned to Singapore after 9 months in the US because the talent in the US was too good for him. He was promoted after his return to Singapore. He felt vindicated because he always maintained Singapore had better professional opportunities for promotion: less competition, more rewards. Working in the US was a waste of time because he couldn't get promoted. Life's too short!
I bet 99% of Indian will come back if they were offered the same salary. Quality of life in USA is all a facade. Compared to USA, India is super safe. Its all the money.
In usa you dont have the freedom to go out openly. Shootings take place. Ppl have guns. Theres no safety. Ull understand the value of freedom once there 🙂🙂 I have already been there. So I know it very well.....life in US is next just to shit
Lol, you know what you have in America? Flushing toilet. What do you think you would get in India? Ever thought about that you out of touch first worlder? Btw, very easy way to get green card if you are single. Marry a citizen! I mean if you are gonna live your life in this country and start a family here, who else are you gonna marry? Going back to India and marry another Indian? Haha
Hello Professor, I agree with you; the Indian graduates can plan to complete education in the USA, and look for job opportunities in India, Canada, Australia, Etc.
Prof says why people think getting GC is important. My personal experience - I was not obsessed with getting a GC until I faced issues with visa appointments in 2022. There were no H1B visa stamping appointments available in 2022 and was an absolute struggle to get one. Then I got the appointment in August which was very close to starting date of school in September. Visa did not arrive in time, had to spend a lot of money so kids don't miss school. What if there is emergency or happy occasion like wedding and I can't go to India because I need visa stamping to return and there is no visa appointment. In 2018, my visa application went into admin processing for no reason and got cleared after 1 week. There was a huge stress for a week. There is always an uncertainty when visiting India. There is always fear of losing job and leave country in 60 days. Although I absolutely love living and working in US, I am looking for options before worst case scenario happens.
"Prof says why people think getting GC is important." It is important if you want to live in USA for along time, enjoy its benefits and become a US Citizen.
Difference between problems and struggles in USA and India is that - Struggles in USA will remain for decades to come and there is very little to nothing that we can do about it. Struggles in India are solvable. We get a sense of achievement, pride and satisfied with purpose of life when we do that. Chinese had similar struggles couple of decades ago, now they have surpassed developed countries in those aspects. So I tell youngsters that if you go abroad and settle, then you have done nothing great to be pride about. You are more likely to remain stranger at abroad and likely to become one even when you return back to India for retirement. However, if you solve a problem in India, then you can be pride and satisfied about your achievement that will be remembered by many for decades.
My neighbor who filed his Labor in 2012 says he got his Green Card in 2022, that is in 10 years. Labor, I-1140, I-485, Green Card - all done in 10 years in EB-3. He became eligible for filing his I-485 when Trump administration advanced current dates for a short period in early 2020. So, if 10 years is the total wait period for H1B visa to get Green Card, it is very much worth. Usually, employers file for Labor about 2 years after being in H1B and so total stay is 12 years to get Green Card. But, even I can't believe as how he got all done in 10 years.
That happened due to pandemic, consulates we're closed, so family based GC's were allocated to Employment based GC's and now we are coming back to normal, anyone(Indian)applying GC now (except EB1) we will not get GC in next 50-60 years unless some law changes.
Just completed a year in Germany. Even got bonus from my German employer for company's excellent performance even amidst American bigtech layoff. I will get PR in 2025 and citizenship by 2027.
The problem is it’s extremely difficult to be the very best (not close to the best or second best) if you are not in US. I am in McGill and I find the peers/research quite mediocre. I have to be in Stanford/MIT to be with the brains I crave to work with.
@@rohanutep81 sourav Mukherjee will even find Stanford /MIT research mediocre, that's Indian mentality that education is best somewhere else. We donot take responsibility that if we change world will change. These type of people will find problem in every thing and every country .
Here is what the next Gen students are doing Move to Europe for education (lets face it nobody cares where you studied) Get EU passport in 5-7 years (so for undergrad they will have EU passport by the time they are 25-27) Then choose if you want to go to US for More money or not (In my experience no one moved even on a 2X salary once they have lived in EU) , but the doors open with a strong passport Also know GC queue will always be long even if you get citizenship , but that does not really matter because delays are in US processing for India , everywhere else there are no delays / stamping etc The way immigration is done in EU flights to US is like 100 times more casual than way it is done in India to US
I was in the US and recently moved to Canada asked my employer to withdraw H1B and Green Card both - though Professor is stating that USA is the best when it comes to opportunities you are seeing companies moving to Canada and Asia slowly and slowly due to immigration issues. My point is straight 'what's in for immigrants in USA especially Indians even if there are plethora of opportunities but you can't realistically take a leverage of that?" - My friends USA is just another country now - unless and until you really get into a good school or PhD then only it makes sense, for me living through traffic in India makes more sense rather than making life miserable for our families (this happens much more worse where you lose your job on H1B , remember no job is secured now - even Americans get laid off ). So the point is your immigration status is controlled by the functional status of your employer if it does well you are good if not you are shown the door. Irrespective of economic conditions you can still be laid off if company itself does bad - better to earn few less dollars and lead a stable life. I hope it makes sense.....

I just came on a l1 visa would be conveting to h1b hopefully.. I am sure i won’t get a green card .. one issue here in green card give u security but that could be got in other ways ..One thing is base case in us is that u need a job otherwise u see 2k for home and 2 to 3 k for health insurance and atleast 1k for living expenses.. if you loose your job u got to keep put this 6 k on the table to live.. GC has not much advantage.. So advice here be frugal with your finances have your spouse find her own h1b so you have better security.. Have a backup setup in India., I have bought a home in right neighborhood in bangalore so for switch to india is st fwd and doesn’t need to think what to do . U can take almost 100% risk with carrer here .. The max u would go back to india.. So have a backup plan to sell your stuff in case very bad probability that u need to leave . And for kids let them face the challenges when they are kids if they move a different places .. As said americans work here till their 70s here just for good health insurance..
The value of American education will be there all over the world. One must always try to get higher education from here no matter what country you belong to. It is important to delink the education with American dream. Settling in US is like a herd mentality as you showed in one of the photos. The candidates should try to keep other options open as well when they come to US. My simple suggestion is to apply via investor visa even though it is for the rich few. That is the best and only hope. I have already started recommending these scenario to many people. One thing I also noticed is some American professor also don’t want students from poor country since they also become a liability when it comes to paying tuition fees and asking for RA/TA all the time. I see F1 students working at gas stations in almost all American cities. Is this what they came for the American dream?
Loved your perspective. I had to return back home for not getting H1B lottery after working so hard building my life there and I went from being promoted to being jobless within a year. I have started again rebuilding the life and after looking at current situation, I feel its a blessing in disguise that now I have an opportunity to find what all I wnated somewhere else where I am welcomed.
Not just better life . At one point ppl will look for a sense of stability . Ppl with GC can take a break when laid off to look for a comp. which will match . Do a small business No one cares of citizenship
Sir.. I have been a long time subscriber of yours. I remember from one of your videos that you said no to corporate job and how you overcome the toughest situation after your masters by opting Ph.D.. Now I am understanding that you didn't choose any shortcut or any illegal way like getting into corporate job.. You worked hard and took right time decision to get admission into Ph.D rather than struggling in corporate job .. You already knew that corporate job won't help your life settle with peace... I appreciate your videos by taking time and wishing you the best of good luck. Happy New Year 2023
My friend got GC in 8-9 years bcoz his wifes birth place is not India but she's Indian as born in Middle East. In this scenario your case will not fall in Indian catagory even if both are Indian and you won't b struggling in never ending que.
Well said! Goal is to become financially independent. Not to get green card. There are many ways we can do it. Only thing we need to patience and consistency
You touched all pains in india such as traffic, but you didn't touch upon some points in US such as laid-off while on h1b, kids aging out, unable to travel due to visa appointment unavailability, unable to switch jobs, renew of driver's license, h1bs, h4s every 3 years, looking at all these shows (attorney shows as well) and spend time from your valuable life, managers exploiting and extracting more work due to visa status, being on same field of job until your death and the list goes on. Having said that, after living in this country for 9 years and due to frustration and depression with the greencard backlog for india born I decided to leave this country and go back to India.
One can touch only so many points in a short video right? Someone asked me a question, is it worth coming to the US given all such issues. And I answered that one question. I am sorry you had to face so many hassles. It does feel unfair
@Desi American Professor thanks for replying to my comment. You gave good information, but my ultimate goal of this comment is to have wider visibility, especially those who want to come to the US so that they don't lose their time spending on visa issues from their valuable life.
Prof I am really happy that you have put the matters in the right perspective and also put the matters to rest. It will help all to take an informed decision
The backlog is not based on dicrimination. It's simply population control and opportunity for the minority group. It's without a doubt there are way more indian and chinese people in the states.
Beautifully explained! US was always meant for best quality education, international exposure and work experience. If these are the primary priorities for you, don’t think twice before coming to US.
America is a great country !!! 👍 I just wanna know, how u'll stay or cope up with rising gun crimes (only gun crimes - school shooting, mall shooting...and on) 👈👈
Your words are correct. I have a question. Even I went to USA for better education. What happened there ??? Worst thing which ruined my life. Instead of having a better life now I am in below poverty line. I cannot support myself because of that college. I went to Cambridge college Boston to do my MBA even though I had offers from other universities. I choose that because of low fee. I thought I will be saving 10 lacs if I choose this college. Where did I end up today???? Nowhere. I went to one of the racist college where students just hated me. They had questions about my hair, color and what I eat. They are issues if I answered in class. They had issues if I did my assignment well. They had issues if I pointed out mistake, They had issues if I wore dress. They had issues with my shoes and above all they had big issue because I am Indian and with my name. This kind of things was not worth my time and money. I hate them for all the things they did to me. To top it, my Dean Mary Anna Joseph. She had biggest issues with me reasononly can answer. Though she’s from India, she hated Indians and she used to take advantage of Indians by giving them job with low pay. She used to show me to police officer peirry and say she’s the one. Worst of all, they sent an email telling that they will abort if I date anyone in USA. (Summary of that email was like this). It was worst college they wanted to make sure I fail. Professor bitch Abreu claritya. She was the main culprit who created issues for me. She didn’t even graded my assignments and failed me. I had 10 years of software engineering experience and that bitch failed me for 3 reasons. She felt disrespectful because I did not come to her class when it was snow storm. For me that cold weather and fever still she wanted me to be in the class & clap when she speak. I had enrolled to online pmp training in simplilearn. She said, y my course is not that better than that course. U can attend that but not mine. She had given priority for that and not for mine class. For this, can u believe for this she and that Dean, Robert Goldberg and rest made my life hell. They failed me in pmp exam by influencing pmi exam. Then they canceled project management course from the syllabus itself. Even today if I apply for pmp exam they will fail me. I just left. I don’t do that course or certificate 😢. In the class, Africans were very bad. She wrote diagram on how people come from India and take f1 and then they take OTP and H1B and settle. That African lady turned towards me and said, if we don’t give OTP then they will not survive in USA. To her words, they did not give me OTP. They just marked it completed. Now tell me. They all speak these things, Tell me why universities invite us to study there?after that they don’t want u to get professional training and don’t want to make you capable to work around the world. When they don’t want to give internships/OTP work then y do they even call us for higher education???? After that they cheated me to go back to from where u had come and said ask your so-called country to give u job. She’s from 3rd world country and she should go back to live there. People if u have lot of money then U r settled there rest they will cheat with money and kick u out they are not worried if u get job. Infact they follow to check where u got job then they will layoffs u
Now a days many indians taking American jobs , which is sad part. Suppose just assume a north Indian gets job in Bangalore and settle there, how does it feels for kannada people. Similarly the situation is same with America, lots of Indians taking American jobs and killing their innocent dreams.
ITS NOT A US PROBLEM BCOZ TOO MANY INDIANS WANTING TO SETTLE IN USA CREATING BACKLOGS FOR GREEN CARD. USA PROVIDES THE SAME QUOTA OF GREEN CARDS FOR OTHER COUNTRIES TOO
Sir I agree with you its not US problem.. but in India we have different culture & many states...US is giving 7% to all the countries irrespective of size of the country..
The point everyone is trying out is educate everyone in India that if they are planning to settle here in US the path is brutal now. So before they make that decision they should be well aware about the situation in US. The frustration is immense and there are side effect like job changes, promotions, travel and list goes on and on. I am appreciating that influencers are tweeting about it which will spread the news and make more people aware about the situation. My thoughts, if you are planning to come here just for studying or few years one should definitely come. But if you are coming here to settle I would not recommend. I would go one step further if you can qualify for EB1 category than you will be in the fast track of getting green card so that is also a very good option.
Don't equate quality of life to per capita Income. It's very subjective. The quality of life of somebody living in a village in India is very much stress free and hassle free from some one who live in New York. Living in energy guzzler Mansions and driving Mercedes is not quality of life.
gandu how is village life stress in India, there is open drainage, pathetic facilities, only stupid fools like you can glorify poor village life in india
I really want to go back but can’t- my elder son is in high school and it will be extremely difficult to go back to India and get used to the curriculum there and immensely painful to get to adjust to the culture. The education system in usa is very very different and going back to india and passing even 10th grade will be impossible. My life is gone as I leave behind my parents , only hope is that the kids will have good education and career here, but again , unless the green card comes , my kid too has to go through all this pain of visas etc here. Overall, my advise to people aspiring to come to usa is - its very important to think through all these difficulties you may face and plan ahead.
To all youngsters … goto canada … study, work , get PR, citizenship… this will take 6-7 yrs…. Become pro in your technology during this time … after Canadian citizenship come to usa on tn visa ( self sponsored) … have kid in USA … keep on renewing tn visa every two years ( not a biggie) .. when kid is 21 he will file your GC …. Fk all these US colleges and shit … everything is online … all you need is a good career path and rest is your personal efforts … all other talk is garbage … we are not here for these universities or countries or for the love of the subject … just remember we need good money , good car, nice house , beautiful wife, cute babies , a comfortable life and no faltu ka stress on the way …got it … now chill everyone
Been on contracting assignments that renew every 3 months, been on full time opportunity and you know the corporates take call on reducing work force. At some point, you don't need to be worrying about your legal status (h1b) and should be able to take break, be like the US guy who can get unemployment benefit - etc. So - make some money - get financial freedom - give your goodbye kiss to US and fly back :) peace !
Am Indian in the US since more than 15 years. Never got through the H1B lottery to even get in line for the GC. May be it was fate to marry an US citizen and have kids with her. We worry about security of our kid in the schools with sickening regularity of school shootings. My sister back home never has to worry about it. But life in tier 1 cities in India has its well known challenges (high pollution, traffic, etc). But the food is absolute best in India. The corporate life is just as shitty as anywhere else but in the US you can earn more money. Point is suffering is inherent to human experience. We will invent ways to suffer and complain no matter what. There is a reason why moksha, liberation from the cycle of birth and death is considered as the ultimate goal in Sanatan Dharma. Hare Krishna!
So True. In today’s world we can learn anything in online. In my opinion if it’s pure research then go to abroad else think twice before making a decision
Dear Dr. Sambhara! The truth is we are living a very good life, materialistically, even as H1bs. The problem is, to restrict human mind in a very narrow pipeline is a crime in my opinion. Freedom is the goal. Freedom of mind, freedom of body. Now i am a molecular biologist and a project scienitst with a masters degree from NYU, I graduated in 2012. After working with different research laboratory i have realized i am good with coding, understanding bilogy and management too. Hypothetically if i feel i want to work as a manager for some pharma company i will be not able to work or gain such experience because of my H1b restriction and NIW restriction. This is were human potential is lost and thats why H1b is a modern slavery. You can agrue that yes i may be still work as a manager only if i do a MBA and then get a H1b with work code of MBA. Thats not a argument its a poorly develop pipeline where american policy makers thinks that a work code defines true human potential. I would like to hear your opinon or suggestion for 0:31 my thoughts. Srijoy
Greetings Dr. Sambhara @desiamericanprofessor . Another gem vid for those who look towards you as a true friend and great guide. Through your video like these, you successfully bring out the crystal clear picture of ground realities in US. Have a great day Sir.
For IT guys going to onsite in USA for say 1 or 2 years. How do they remit money to India. Do they need to open NRE account . Or they can simply transfer it to existing savings account
In my opinion If anyone wants to settle outside , he/she should move to Canada or Australian with easier immigration rules And for the short term to make quick bucks or to have that progression in your career it makes sense to move to usa. But on the long term it’s a foolish move since the backlog has been overburdening for us indians about 10yrs now . A good no of entrepreneurs in India are people who worked in usa short term and then came back ,saw the opportunity, made their own business

Having gone thorough this. I don't recommend anyone coming to USA to stay to pursue the F1 - H1B route. Goal of F1 if it's only study then welcome. GC backlog is only one thing, getting a visa to visit itself is over subscribed. For ages people have gone to GCC for opportunities and money, if they are looking for something more then the 'Western' countries may be worth it. For such h1bs . Getting a green card is not a goal, but if job , job search, life , lifestyle, money, access to the target industry , access to quality research , access to industry funding during PhD, internship, all depends on this one silly piece of paper GC. Then selling F1 showing that a future H1B and GC is eventually possible is incorrect and unethical. However, USA does not promise anyone anything, so anyone coming with F1 is wilfully coming and there is no scope for cry baby episodes later. Life sometimes depends on visa, if you can absorb the risk - missing functions at homes, missing travel opportunity, missing flights due to visa constraints, getting locked up in usa because employer says your job may be jeopardized if you cannot get visa and return, all these are unwanted tensions. As far as F1 is concerned, even after reading through , if there is a risk appetite , still lingering somewhere, then with all heart go for it. Selling F1, the best of best comes to the USA is another false argument, only people who cannot make it great in their home country explore other options. There is nothing wrong with it. Opportunity attracts seekers. Knowing this F1 may be ok, but a hard sell to the already at home geniuses.
I personally think it's a waste of time money everything going to us. In India u can buy quality of life with money and u can earn excellent salary as a software engineer with no dearth of opportunities in any domain. Plus u miss an opportunity to contribute to India's growth.
Sir I have a query. For reference letters for PhD is it mandatory to take one reference from masters college or all 3 references from bachelors college will also do ? Not just the visa issues, salaries for h1b is too less and very difficult to switch to full time jobs as many good company not willing to sponsor transfer and then GC nomination. Also , very high living cost these days. All in all, from both career and money perspective, India is better.

Sir,I want to pursue both bachelors and masters in computer science in the US.Do you think it will be a feasible idea to marry a US citizen during opt/h1b in order to reduce the time and hassle to obtain a green card?I always wanted to settle in the US despite all the flaws of it like high crime rate, gun violence, systematic racism, political polarization and etc as I accept the fact that no country is perfect. What's your perspective on my point of view?
Yes very good idea but remember that there will be an interview after two years to see if marriage is genuine or not if they find it fraud they will deport and arrest the American spouse
USA is losing its charm. US dollar has started to weaken as trade of goods such as oil can be done in other currencies. There is no point in going to US.
Sir but problem is most MS in US people have scarcity mindset. They don't have a confidence to get in to entrepreneurship. Even after having so called best education in the world. Thier education is not adding to thier confidence to build companies.
Professor, this is a very good video and I agree that all these issues related to immigration should be put into perspective. I strongly believe you should never live your life based on one single event which you have no control over. Thus, if you want to move in the US, take a calculated decision and those already in the US can surely live a normal good quality of life waiting for GC and not bothering about it every day, in comparison to daily struggles in India.
Buddy no new videos from you??? Comeon man make a video, about H1B applications which exceeded 500k for handful of spots... This GC backlog removal bills and h1b's demanding america is losing talent because of them being in backlog nonsense... Lots of topics to cover
Despite not being Indian, I’ve been following your content along for a while! i’ve been meaning to ask: do you think it’s worth it for someone with an EU passport (i.e. Belgian)
You are wrong. H1b is a temporary visa which allows you to work for a US company if its a speciality occupation. You cannot build a life on something which is defined to give you a temporary stay for working in a country. You are confusing yourself, and others telling that you choose to have visa struggles. Absolute nonsense. You either are given legal status to settle in a country or you are not. There is no middle ground. One can choose to work for a dream employer on a h1b visa for a "at-will" duration determined by the employer. The story ends there. Most dream jobs barely give you a vacation period of 10 business days in a given year. Most top paying companies have cut throat political mess to fire the bottom 20% every year. There are always bureaucratic shenanigans which keeps visa and travel to the US uncertain. Building a life on something which is not meant for that purpose is pure fiction. This doesn't mean some who have not done it. But don't do something which is not intended for building a life.
For India to attract the diaspora back to lndia would require creation of new first world cities with a population cap of 5 million alongwith very conducive policies
India doesn't need to do anything look at California it has turned into a 4th world state soon other states will follow also enjoy inflation.india will attract smart white people in a few years 🤣
Indian constitution doesnt allow tall buildings. Bombay has a FSI of 1.3 while singapore has 25. marathi manoos hates outsiders and wouldnt allow new construction so more rich ppl can move there (and it keeps the values of 40 yr old apartments high). Also, mumbai's BMC has 90k Crore in cash and still cannot create proper roads. The solution for rich Indians 1m USD NW (20k USD income/ year) is moving to tier 2 cities and live in gated townships. We have all amenties (pool / gym / club), excellent infra (concrete roads, underground electricty) and good security
This is such a silly recommendation. Why would someone want to leave best experience and work experience and go back to a place which is 70 times lower than USA? Everyone's pursuit is for happiness... They won't give it up easily... Harsh truth is there is no answer for what individual wants to do... It's his / her life... Who are we to advice?
People are living in US from many years without green card and they are not even no H1B now. i think eventually they find out how to stay in US legally without Green Card.
Sir, i was born in the uae so is it good for me to move to usa for education and try to get a h1b visa and then apply for a green card? UAE doesn't have a backlog/waitlist
thank you for the detailed advice , but i have one question.. going by the current situation in USA , including the raising cost of living , russia-china petrol trade , cause of these economical shift do u really think USA's dollar value will stay longer like this ? and as per my experiance in USA for around 1 year the quality of life and the process is slowly degrading , like you said is it going to be worst or can it get better ?
In next 25 years india will see an massive growth under current gov .. The tech salaries speaks about it..everyone is getting min 30 lakh packages if wife and husband works out its 60 lakhs in india itself.. Which is very huge
Good analysis. I am on vacation here, ground report is Central govt is doing a fabulous job. If this trend continues, India would stun the world with its capability and start ups. To solve the most deciding factors, like traffic, pollution, local bureaucracy issues. Central needs support from State which is not the case in most states. There needs to be leaders like Modi in the states for it to miraculously change. Hoping something positive happens at the state levels and they do their job too or we need to rethink about the structure to improve India at every level. I was blown by the amount of development that has happened by the Central govt in the last few years !! and for tech people. Digital India is mind-blowing looking at the speed and scale !! Fingers crossed, that those state issues are also addressed in someway and it makes it easy for us to come back earlier than we planned !
How long can you live in a country, with zero political rights? All your life? If not, then living in country, where you can vote is important. It is a personal decision.

Frankly speaking, if we leave the cleanliness factor of infrastructure, Bharat is as good as any other country in the world right now. Maybe development work at MNCs in Bharat is not that deep and good (understandable for foreign companies) but the opportunity to develop things and IPs are really good. You should not compare engineer with homeless person but engineer from another country in USA. You are justifying the gladiator kind of fight where one guy is chained while another on chariot. Indians should not waste their money and time in pursuing education in USA. Don’t waste your life, political freedom is must to live happy life money doesn’t matter.

With the same salary offered in india? No shit anyone would come back, look how cheap India is compared to the states
More than the quality of life, it's about how much cash is left in hand
More important thing in India is what neighbours and relatives says .
In usa you dont have the freedom to go out openly. Shootings take place. Ppl have guns. Theres no safety. Ull understand the value of freedom once there 🙂🙂
I have already been there.
Haha
Great perspective.. Truth is most of us come thinking we will go back in a few years and then get swept in the GC struggle looking at our peers
Hello Professor, I agree with you; the Indian graduates can plan to complete education in the USA, and look for job opportunities in India, Canada, Australia, Etc.
Perfect analysis
@@pvasiryes go and citizenship is important
I am getting tired now. Know there is no chance of getting GC until if you have US born children turning 18.
Difference between problems and struggles in USA and India is that -
Struggles in USA will remain for decades to come and there is very little to nothing that we can do about it.

@debanikgoswami4834 True and on top of that corruption in exams where papers are leaked for some lacks

Here is what the next Gen students are doing
Move to Europe for education (lets face it nobody cares where you studied)
Get EU passport in 5-7 years (so for undergrad they will have EU passport by the time they are 25-27)
Then choose if you want to go to US for More money or not (In my experience no one moved even on a 2X salary once they have lived in EU) , but the doors open with a strong passport
Also know GC queue will always be long even if you get citizenship , but that does not really matter because delays are in US processing for India , everywhere else there are no delays / stamping etc
The way immigration is done in EU flights to US is like 100 times more casual than way it is done in India to US
That’s great man. Quality of life in Europe especially Scandinavian countries is much better than USA in general.

They had issues if I pointed out mistake,
They had issues if I wore dress.
They all speak these things,
Tell me why universities invite us to study there?after that they don’t want u to get professional training and don’t want to make you capable to work around the world.

For that category you need to be a PhD or C level executive
EB1 is given for exceptional researchers or High Level Executives ?

Dear Dr.

I like your answer, we are looking for a good life, not green card
Not just the visa issues, salaries for h1b is too less and very difficult to switch to full time jobs as many good company not willing to sponsor transfer and then GC nomination. Also , very high living cost these days. All in all, from both career and money perspective, India is better.
good perspective!
Sir, I am preparing for bank exams (govt job )in india. I want to work in RBI (reserve Bank of India). And, I want to remain here my whole life. I think people should stay here and work for the betterment of the country.
Extremely low success rate in govt exams. 22 crore applied for exams and only 7 lack getting a job .
Sir kindly guide what all is required for doing a PhD after completing mba from India and have only six months of experience .Kindly help us with a video criteria dos and don't for PhD admission
My suggestion is contributing your life for your motherland and generation
USA is losing its charm. US dollar has started to weaken as trade of goods such as oil can be done in other currencies. There is no point in going to US.
USA should outsource more jobs to India.
Excellent observation 👍👍
Sir I have completed ME in mechanical, having 8 years teaching experience.
Is there any oppurtunity?
Kindly help me
Great video
Prof very practical advice
Sir but problem is most MS in US people have scarcity mindset. They don't have a confidence to get in to entrepreneurship. Even after having so called best education in the world. Thier education is not adding to thier confidence to build companies.
Professor, this is a very good video and I agree that all these issues related to immigration should be put into perspective. I strongly believe you should never live your life based on one single event which you have no control over. Thus, if you want to move in the US, take a calculated decision and those already in the US can surely live a normal good quality of life waiting for GC and not bothering about it every day, in comparison to daily struggles in India.
how long will the usa government keep increasing debt celing 🤣 enjoy your life.
Buddy no new videos from you??? Comeon man make a video, about H1B applications which exceeded 500k for handful of spots... This GC backlog removal bills and h1b's demanding america is losing talent because of them being in backlog nonsense... Lots of topics to cover
too busy with work sir
is the problem same for new doctor , i heard it is not the same as you explained
it is more or less the same actually
@@DesiAmericanProfessor thanks Dr
Despite not being Indian, I’ve been following your content along for a while! i’ve been meaning to ask: do you think it’s worth it for someone with an EU passport (i.e. Belgian)
if you want to earn better with good opportunities, then yes
Doctor looking fwd for your new vlog.

@@fwefhwe4232 absolutely tier 2 cities
I am planning to move to Europe after getting some work experience in India .
No one 😂
People are living in US from many years without green card and they are not even no H1B now.
i think eventually they find out how to stay in US legally without Green Card.
How is it possible 😂?
Sir, i was born in the uae so is it good for me to move to usa for education and try to get a h1b visa and then apply for a green card? UAE doesn't have a backlog/waitlist
yes, you should not have any problems then
Well said 😁
I'm only interested in green card, all are secondary.
😂😂😊
Then marry US citizen

thank you for the detailed advice , but i have one question.. going by the current situation in USA , including the raising cost of living , russia-china petrol trade , cause of these economical shift do u really think USA's dollar value will stay longer like this ? and as per my experiance in USA for around 1 year the quality of life and the process is slowly degrading , like you said is it going to be worst or can it get better ?
Dont worry bhai, before that Putin will end the whole experiment above Mexico with his Sarmat dong.
In next 25 years india will see an massive growth under current gov .. The tech salaries speaks about it..everyone is getting min 30 lakh packages if wife and husband works out its 60 lakhs in india itself.. Which is very huge
@@drbh6331 most of the companies offering that salary are US based or clients are in USA😂😂😂
Indias time to shine
Absolutely Girish states needs to cordinate with center. Yes Gujrat is doing well under his leadership. And more to come.
More than government citizens need to be responsible for Cleaniess and road traffic.
India has just 1 problem - corruption
Where r u since long?
i think it is fair. I do not agree with your opinion at all. But have a good one
How long can you live in a country, with zero political rights? All your life? If not, then living in country, where you can vote is important. It is a personal decision.
Sir, plz tell is it worth coming US in 2023 ? As, I am from the Commerce background and want to come by F1 Visa and by taking loan. But I am confused due to the Recession situation of US so, plz guide or make vedio on 2023 senior of US.🙏✨
Commerce means non stem visa, not gud option for employment. Go where competition is low
No not worth it try Canada MBA
Frankly speaking, if we leave the cleanliness factor of infrastructure, Bharat is as good as any other country in the world right now. Maybe development work at MNCs in Bharat is not that deep and good (understandable for foreign companies) but the opportunity to develop things and IPs are really good. I myself have given up an R&D job at Samsung in the US recently. Only if we stay and develop will we leave a clean and prosperous Bharat for our future generations, just like our stalwarts of the past did.
In my channel, I will try to bring this out in near future
I left Samsung Research in India to go to the US :P

Hello sir what about the indian like me who is born in Saudi Arabia will I get green card and H1B VISA easily faster ? Please sir can you repond back as I am eagerly wishing to come to US for MS in CS. ...... ?
yes, born in Saudi, you should not have issues with GC
You should not compare engineer with homeless person but engineer from another country in USA. You are justifying the gladiator kind of fight where one guy is chained while another on chariot.
Indians should not waste their money and time in pursuing education in USA.
Don’t waste your life, political freedom is must to live happy life money doesn’t matter.
