Sir, I am bit confused regarding few things. Since you are a professor, I hope you can throw some light. 1) Under what circumstances should a person go to US for studies? I have done by bachelors from India (in Non-IT) and working in a decent company. Do you really think its really worth to leave a high paying job in India/or some other country and go to US for masters after spending so much money. 2) Is it just living in the US make a lot of difference in long term. I mean 10 years down the line, will it really make a difference if I am living in India/Europe/US even though I am working at a good organisation everywhere. I mean will simply living or working in US give me an edge.
1) Come if you really want to study in the US and are willing to take that plunge/risk. Get 3-4 years of solid work experience before coming. 2) It really depends on individual to individual and their luck. No one answer that can fit. It is like asking if it makes difference if you work on hyderabad or bangalore or pune? One cannot answer it Sir.
Hi Akash, it's worth. The only problem for Indians is green card backlog. But a lot of organizations are working on that. Hope so it will resolve soon. I would suggest you to get some experience before entering US . Love from US. Jai Hind.
Sharmas in America Hi Sir, Thanks for the reply. I actually have 6 years of experience and work in Malaysia currently. Since, I don’t have masters, I was considering that as an option full time leaving current job. Another option could be to wait for some more years and try to take transfer to US even without going for masters. My colleagues who did their masters in US are also working in the same company and at same position as me. So I was thinking of the risk factor and benefits short/long period of working in US.
@@ReserveNN I would suggest to go for option 2. I am double masters. One is from US and other one from India. My husband is B.Tech from India and he has more highly paid job than me. I am a Indian student, will be coming in USA for my undergrad (pre medicine) and then after my pre medicine from a US college, I'll apply to a medical school for medicine program. After my medicine I'll apply for residency, will I be able to get a green card soon after my residency (specialisation) ? Like after becoming a speciality doctor in US , how many years will it take to get a green card?
@@chetanbagra2267 Hey man gonna be brutally honest with you, its really really tough to get into US medical schools even if you completed your undergrad in the US. I've pretty much lived here my whole life, and completed all my schooling here, but my family is caught up in the long lines for permanent residency. We filed in 2011, but have not received anything yet. But anyway despite going to undergrad here, you are still treated as an international in the application process. You need to be EXCEPTIONAL compared to your peers to get in especially cause we considered both Asian, an over-represented minority in medicine (its a lot easier for under represented minorities), and international. So please do your research before coming. You'll see that not all medical schools take applications from internationals. There are only 40 medical schools in the US that take applications and every year, there's been a trend of this number decreasing, and only some actually admit internationals every year. It is a lot easier to just do your MS or PHD here in comparison to getting an MD and matching into residency. It is a handful of internationals that are accepted every year at these schools and they have a heavy preference for Canadians. I would just really suggest researching and networking with medical schools so that you're informed.

Desi American Professor Thanks Sir for your reply.
There is no difference of salaries in US of B.S or M S. We only get job based on experience and knowledge. A simple B S degree should work and you can get as much money you want in your field. Knowledge is key.
Cam you make a detailed video on investor visa or for entrepreneurs E2 visa
Which was your type for application...
So basically there is no way of getting green card other than marriage 😆 can't wait for 100 years-150 years after studyin in US and working
Under what category did u got ur green card sir?
Probably the phd category
Hope you are doing well sir.
I am looking for phd in the public health in US. Im concerned about STEM vs non STEM phd in usa? In Terms for opt.

Hi Professor, im a student at UTA college of engineering.

Very good informative video.

By the way PhD Fully funded hoti hai ? If not then how much we have to pay for the fees ?
PhD if not funded is not PhD

All and all No way to get green card if you are not a PhD or L1 Visa..I am waiting for my Green card from the past 6 years and the wait time is 150 years..US is hell now..PLEASE DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE AN INDIAN ..policies are simply discriminatory
We can disagree a bit. People can surely come to this great beautiful country. They will enjoy as long as they are aware about the immigration issues and do not count on getting a green card for any significant life decisions.
Hi Roger, instead of crying on youtube comments. Can you please do some comments on s386 bill on twitter. We need more people to raise voice for backlogged community.

Sir, does E1-B category applies for researchers/post-docs as well?
Does MBA Holder Can Apply for EB2 CATEGORY??
Sir, Can an Indian get in US military?
very nice presentation, sir!!
1. How many publications and citations are required to be eligible for EB1-B category?
2.If someone does his phd from Europe and then move to USA with a job, will he be eligible for EB1-B?
He is wrong about eb2 requirement that it requires master. It requires 4 years bachelor and not necessarily masters.
please see the description of the video and the title of the video. I have clearly acknowledged my mistakes and explained them in the description
Desi American Professor ok, cutie pie. We will look into the description 😂

Hello sir
My son wants to pursue in Physics rite now he is doing his 12th . Sir he wants to do undergraduate in physics in top university but our budget is not too much high. Please guide us how to fulfill his dreams.
Get a career consultant for that if you want to be in US.
What are the minimum Google scholar citations and no of publications (after PhD) safe for green card applications? for EB 1B
no such numbers. One of the most important factors is people recommending you for green card and their stature
if we come to usa on visitor visa we apply for EB3 unskilled process and go back to our home country pakistan in our absence our EB3 unskilled process will countinue in usa ?????????????????????????????????????? reply soon
Like agar cousin apply kare to chalta hai kya??
I am a Indian student, will be coming in USA for my undergrad (pre medicine) and then after my pre medicine from a US college, I'll apply to a medical school for medicine program. After my medicine I'll apply for residency, will I be able to get a green card soon after my residency (specialisation) ? Like after becoming a speciality doctor in US , how many years will it take to get a green card?
Yes, having a specialty will really help
@@DesiAmericanProfessor can the upcoming presidential elections be favourable for international students coming to USA (specially Indians) ?
@@saipamula1953 thank you so much, but if I work hard , get a 4.0 GPA in my pre med and a 520+ MCAT score and also some clinical experiences during pre med , then will I be a strong candidate. Also johns Hopkins medical school treat international students (who have done their pre med from us college) same as the resident students
@@saipamula1953 and one more thing, the Chinese students are banned for graduate and post graduate degree in USA , so it will make my way easier than before.
Do you need Masters for EB2, how about Bachelor of Engineering?
India meh Engineering karke US me koi job mil Sakti hai kya??
Thank you so much sir! We really are despirate for this information!
