Congratulations to you, thanks for sharing your green card experience. You did a fantastic job documenting and explaining the process! All the best to you.
My eyes was filled with tears when I saw this video. The day when a person gets US citizenship it will be his / her best day. By the way Professor I really liked your thumbnail picture of these video with Judge.

Sir, what a detailed and well organized video explaining the process. Thank you for this. I have my interview in a few weeks. I'm very nervous that i will mess up my interview even though i have already reviewed the civics portion multiple times.
Smart move. US is better to live than india and you can travel to many countries visa free. I moved to US at age 5 as a kid. I'm 18 now and ready to apply for citizenship!
Sir🙏, you are doing an amazing job by making such videos it will surely help many students and people who were planning to come into US.. keep it up👍👍👍sir
congrats prof it's worth mentioning that you should never jump to go to the US or any country if naturalization is your only goal, I've seen a lot of people fall flat when their green card process make them wait a long time, so its best if you keep naturalization in the bottom of your list of life goals.
Thanks for this helpful information, I was so confused before but after when I done watched this video , I think it not just help me but lots other peoples as well , those who wants to apply for US Citizenship and OCI CARD as well
I thought that getting a US citizenship is very hard, but after watching this, things look a little easy. Though we have to be very patient, but still, it isn't that hard as I thought.
He went into academia, where getting GC is relatively easy. Apart from that, he went to the US back in 2006. Currently, it's really difficult for Indians to get GC, forget about citizenship. One shouldn't blindly follow someone.
Hi, great story thanks for sharing! What specifically was involved in the biometrics? Was there any blood tests, drug tests, vaccinations, medical history etc? Thanks 👌
I figured lol. Do you happen to know anything about have conditions removed on residency? If you are married for less than 2 years when applying for a green card through marriage, you are given a "conditional resident card or CR1 residency" and you have to apply to remove the conditions are 2 years by proving your marriage is bona fide. That is the process I am in right now.
I have spoken about green card and issues in a video only to later told by many that there were quite a few inaccuracies. So I would not want to comment on issues that are not my forte. That said, from what I know, you get 2 year conditional green card and then 2 years later you need to send all the documents proving that the marriage is still going good. I am not sure if they call for an interview again. I think sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. But consult someone more knowledgeable in such issues
First off, thanks much for your insight about the US Citizenship interview. I have a question. Could you please answer? When the officer asks as to when was last trip to outside US, you said in your video, that you have the data ready in a handout prepared to answer. Is this allowed? Besides when the social security number & the previous address where one lived are asked, can the applicant see his pre-prepared paper and read out, as it’s difficult to remember the dates and the numbers?
Tbh you made a very rational decision regarding your career and life, therefore Respect for you, still man I'm not sure about anyone else, but I would definitely cry if I had to give up Indian Citizenship and my Indian dream.
Want to point out that there's another reason they ask you the dates and how many days you were out of the country is because "You are only eligible for citizenship after 365.25 X 5 days, after you've received your green card. The number of days you stayed out of USA need to be subtracted from 365.25 X 5 days". So , Total number of days you've resided in the US, from the date you received your green card, to the date of the interview - Total number of days you've stayed outside of US >=1827
First of all - Congratulations to you, Thanks for sharing your green card experience. You did a fantastic job documenting and explaining the process. Great Job. Helpful to many of the people. All the best to you.
Hello professor, i am in houston in oil and gas industry for last 30 yrs and enjoy watching your channel. Congrats on all of your accomplishments. Now that you have CHOSEN to put your life on public media, i am curious to know your viewpoints on long term relationships. Looks like you are still not married.
