Song of the Year award is about songwriting. The first time i heard it, i cried at the revelation that it was the character's son's heart that the recipient she's meeting got. A great songwriter can tell a story that isn't even their own but can convey that emotion to the audience. Pausing the song so many times just disrupted the whole emotion of a person who was lost for so many years after a tragedy and then meeting that person gave her the peace she finally was needing.
My son passed away Christmas Night 2019 . He became Christmas Miracle for so many families. He was a Bone , Organ and Skin Donor. My girlfriend sent me this song when it came out . This song means so much too me and all the families of organ donors and recipients. Thank you for doing this song.
Thank you for doing this one! Bonnie is a legend who didn’t even get really famous until she was in her 40’s. Now she’s in her 70’s and can out sing some of these younger girls. Not to mention she a legendary blues guitarist. This song is about a woman who donated her child’s heart to a man and he came to thank the woman. It was based on a true story she heard in the news. It’s sad but hopeful.

Many people think Taylor Swift should’ve won for All Too Well (the 10 minute version). There is a short film that she wrote and directed that goes with it, which incidentally won the Grammy for video of the year. Check it out and give us your opinion!
