Hello Bob, I hope that it wins over some trout for you. Two days ago, Valencià had a record January high of 30,8C, not quite 102F. I fished yesterday in 25C, very pleasant, but my chum and I both had dry nets! Cormorants aplenty!😞 How long before the snow is likely to melt? Stay safe and I hope that the shoulder is progressing well!👍

@@neilsspanishflybox Thanks/ We had a very recent heat wave so I didn't try anything locally. before and after Christmas I made trips to the ACT. I may have told you? Gorgeous little clean sparkling river and some nice rainbows-15 to 35cm. ON my 1 wet. :-) Crazy weather though, everywhere massive disruption in Queensland, flood damage and heatwaves as well. I hope to try fishing on Tuesday wet of Sydney. Cool now and I want to get out. Hope you are doing well. :-)

@@TERRYBIGGENDEN Indeed Terry, the weather is a bit ‘changeable’! I was saying to another commenter, that we have had 30+C here in the middle of winter! Being discerning about your trips is wise, but it is sometimes difficult when the allure of a sparkling stream is in your head!! Enjoy your fishing, but stay safe.👌

@@neilsspanishflybox Its the type of climate change always predicted. So enjy the tmes you can go and make the best of it.:_) At least the trout here are adapting to quite an extent. People are catching them in water 22C. but I still think they will be very stressed.

Hello Michael, a mid week video for you!😬 There are so many ways to tie in cdc wings and I have tied with most of them in my videos, but for small flies this is easy for most tyers I think? It is indeed, a great fly.😉
