It’s landlocked because it’s not on the ocean. They have thousands of miles of coastline but it’s all on the Great Lakes.
I would be superrrrrrr interested in a Washington DC map. Not a state technically, but it has a very cool street design called a radial grid overlay pattern and it creates fantastic urban vistas for all the various monuments. Seeing that city map drawn out would be awesome.

Variety of geography (desert, Sequoias, beaches, mountains, lakes and rivers) and an interesting history including The Spanish Missions that go up the coast, agriculture, technology, architecture. The Antelope Valley just blossomed with millions of poppies that give us our name-The Golden State.

Oregon! The nice thing about my less-populated home state is one has to get creative with what sorts of features to include, because nothing is spread evenly throughout. We have a little bit of everything: Mountains, coast, desert, rivers, roads, towns... and on. As a schoolkid I found it frustrating due to a wee obsession with making my school project illustrations pleasing to the eye by centering and balancing. Love this channel, love the calm, usually I fall asleep and miss most of it, which is the highest complement to an ASMRtist!

if you want to do an individual state with more detail, like major roads, rivers, lakes, etc, I think Michigan would be a great choice due to the unique shape, lots of inland lakes, major roads, big cities, but also large areas of forest that could all be indicated with different colors and patterns and I think it would make for a longer detailed video that would be amazing.
That would be really cool, California or Texas would make a good video too

Alaska deserves its own video for sure! Of course we have Anchorage, the main city, and Jeaneu, our capitol, but there are many other cool places too! Fairbanks, Denali, Seward, Homer, Whittier, Valdez, Ketchikan, Nome, and Barrow to name a few. We have many islands in the Aleutian Chain and South East Alaska but there's one very large on called Kodiak which is popular for it's humongous bears.

Rivers, volcanoes, rain forests, deserts, mountains, rocky coast and the longest beach in the world, lava caves and sea lion caves and pirates and forts, chocolates and cranberries and apples and watermelon, salmon and elk and crab and ALL the berries, old growth forest and metro where you can view orcas, fossils and ancient flooding and one of the youngest mountain ranges on the Ring of Fire, the Columbia, Snake and Willamette rivers, pioneer and cowboy and indigenous and fur trapper and English and Scandanavian history, Sister-cities with Japanese cities, THE Oregon Trail, Lewis and Clark, beaver and ducks, tsunamis and earthquakes and fires and lightnight and blizzards and typhoons... OR and WA have to be two of the most naturally gifted and diverse states. They have nearly everything, and then some.

Maybe you should do Iowa, because, it’s cool here. We have corn. Soybeans. Good pork. We’re not *totally* insane. Potholes. Crazy weather. Butter cows. Skywalks. There’s currently a mountain lion roaming my neighborhood so that’s pretty cool.

I'd love to see you do a map of British Columbia in Western Canada. This part of Canada in particular has every type of geography, along with a large urban center, many smaller remote communities, a history of mining, railroads, and all that good stuff.

I'm in lancaster. PA is a pretty interesting state compared to a lot of other places and it has a lot of cool history.

So I have this thing about the tingles being REAL when something is involved that’s “mine”. As a kid it was others playing with my Barbies. As a teen it was customers browsing “my” section of the store. Now, it’s listening to this to make chores better and having to pause when you spoke about my state and some of its features cause OMG THE TINGLES. Thank you for all of your hard work on these! You’re freaking amazing.
