To be fair, I doubt that George RR Martin did either. His Eastern continent is basically called "East"os and the Southern continent "Southern"os. He's a very creative man, but I figure he was fucking tired by the time it came to naming the continents.

And Kings Landing sitting on the Blackwater Rush right at one of the nearest points to the other larger continent echoes Londonds massive expansion and prosperity. As well as it being the city where political and religious power reside over several disputing kingdoms being moulded into one.

I’m pretty sure Westeros is based off of middle age Britain and the map was made from attaching Ireland to the bottom of England, this is the first I’ve heard it be referenced to Sweden I’d love to know your source material. All that aside you ability to draw maps is amazing Good video 👍🏻

It is based off of Britain as well as the first few seasons borrowed a lot from the War of the Roses part of our history.
