Austin is on the very Eastern edge of the Hill Country, to the East of Austin are the Blackland Prairies. The geology beneath the ground and the visible topography change considerably from the rocky, hilly Western side of Austin to the flat and fertile Eastern edge. I've been a Texas resident my whole life, and its interesting to hear a non-texan talk about Texas. The only thing I hate I'd the damn weather. Its either hot or cold wherever you are. On or near the coast its super humid and I have never gotten used to it, and everywhere else its quite dry.
The colours are so beautiful. The cities could have been a bold white or silver but having them more muted lets the natural features take the spotlight.
As a Texan I just want to say that it’s great here and there is so much to do and see everyone is nice and friendly, some people from other states assume that Texas is a hot humid state but it’s much more it’s home of the lone star,Dallas Cowboys,Houston Texans ,whataburger and so much other things thank you for reading this and have a fantastic day
