This is already my favorite cEDH channel. You guys have great chemistry. I love the quick style and commentary. Laughing at misplays and explaining more optimized routes that could have been taken. Right out the gates Cam is trying to hype up the games and Dylan just starts laughing at him for being too enthusiastic.
What I love about this series is the refreshing feeling of having a good time playing competitive. And the commentary is also unique in its own way and it’s pretty good
18:40 Although the printed card says 'sacrifice', the oracle text states that Tabernacle actually destroys creatures that aren't paid for so you don't need to pay for indestructible creatures. Love the content! Keep it coming!
Brennanw Wheeldon not entirely sure, vanifar has the ability to sacrifice for free whilst yisan has an activation cost of (G)(C)(C) but vanifar can chain up to which ever converted mana cost you want and essentially win the game. I guess my answer would be ya it is better considering it has the addition of blue
I really think people overestimate mono blue... either that or they underestimate other mono colored decks. I'm not saying you're wrong in thinking that Mono-blue should've at least gotten ONE game, especially since I think that Urza is the most powerful mono-colored commander (and is currently the only mono-colored commander in tier 1 of PWP's commander tier list). Also I think the Urza player kept some bad hands.... whenever you transmute artifact into mana crypt, that's always the sign of a bad hand. You never want to be doing that lol. It's a true sign of desperation.
quick tip for k'rikk players. make sure you keep a pay-off in the mulligan. it's pretty insane if he is able to go off immediately from the turn he comes in, casting a necropotence on turn 1 if you have some fast mana is not that hard if it's in your opening hand. tons of lines are possible this way!
I'm definitely the Dylan of my cEDH group. Both of us give play advise like leave a green up to activate survival, but no one tells us that we can plus karn and choose to not target.
I'm binging through these videos and I do not understand why this channel doesn't have more subscribers. The during the game commentary is so good. Both guys are hilarious and self depreciating and I love the critique of their own play. Love the channel, guys.
Tight show def see the potential like how y’all talk about the moves that were made. Hope to see life totals and hands size number in the future.. keep up the good work !
Great video! Love that you give us three games in one :D Also, (I get to be that guy!) I think there was a missed life loss at 18:45 for the Imp's Mischief
Even before clicking, I knew the two favorites to win are Red and Green. Basically comes down to can the other's answer red when he comes in, and Green if he has more answers then people have threats.
Heat Shimmer actually gives the token the text "At end of turn, remove this permanent from the game." So the token created by Helm of the Host would also get exiled. Edit: gameplay was awesome, you've got yourselves a subscriber
Yawgmoth is awesome for cedh. Having the draw to find tutors for the win cons plus the built in creature removal for hate bears and mana dorks is awesome.
16:15 it's actually a +1 of Karn to kill 0 CMC artifacts. Kinda relevant because Godo would not have been able to attack it down later. (But I also imagine why you guys are not very used to actually activating Karn ahahah)
Hey guys, love this channel, keep up the good work! Here's some (hopefully) constructive criticism: I love the art on the playmats, but is it possible to use less flashy ones, more neutral color-ish, since there's so much going on the board already, and the gameplay is so fastpaced (which I love), that the less visuals distractions, is better. That's just my opinion though, if you want to show off your awesome playmats, that's fine too :) Minor nitpick: maybe use bigger/more clearer dice, like a nice black and white die, and use the same across the board (like they do on Commander VS, where they use white and black die for "positive counters", and black and white die for "negative counters", if that makes sense). It makes the boardstate easier to follow. Love this show, and how fast it is growing already, just goes to show how genuinely likeable and funny you guys are. Keep it up!
You know. I subbed a while ago and have been watching here and there but seeing that Jesus Piece shirt. Hot damn. New favorite channel. What a great band.
Nice video guys. I do believe that Yisan player made a lot of suboptimal plays and still Yisan was a powerhouse, great deck. BTW, so much interaction vs Godo, he is probably one of the best monotone commanders too!
I feel like it should be noted that finding the best mono colored commander isn't really something that can be tested with just a few games.... For example, Yisan took game 1, but he also drew both mana crypt and sol ring by turn 2, and cast his commander on turn 1.... So yea that's a pretty good hand. Commander is especially impacted by luck of the draw since it's 100 card singleton with a small banlist and every card that exists in magic the gathering as the card pool. That being said, These were very enjoyable games to watch and I love this editing format!! P.S.: I'm a dirty Urza player (favorite commander and favorite card, also what got me into the format of commander in general, and inevitably got me into cEDH lol)
Slight play error with the Trinisphere and Phyrexian mana at 20 mins in. Trinisphere applies last and will check if 3 mana has been spent. Since life was paid for the Sigil and not mana it would cost 4 life and 3 still, not the additional 1 as played.
Y'all should do a "who is the most powerful praetor commander". That would be interesting. Elesh norn the greatful host-stax with a helm to just hate on the board Sheoldred- dredge Vorinclex- behemoth pod Jin-getaxias- speed self mill 🙄🙄🙄😎
Thank you for the sanitary warning, many Americans are not yet convinced of the gravity of the situation. It bears repeating. :) Also, great vid', as usual.
Sad k’rrik didn’t do so hot cuz he’s my main. Also I don’t think he’s better necessarily but I think yawgmoth is underrated. With my cedh k’rrik I go very much all in. I don’t want to make it to turn 5. I have backups definitely, but I’m super not trying to have a drawn out game.
Heat Shimmer Create a token that’s a copy of target creature, except IT has haste AND “At the beginning of the end step, exile this permanent.” The token copy of Priest of Titania made with Helm of the Host is still exiled at the end step since the token itself has the ability.
at 13:08 the 2nd equipment is not the hammer of nazahl right? cause it was exiled with scavenging ooze. it saysso in the overlay but i see a different card on the mat.
Dude great Game! I have a yawghmoth in command zone, and is a beast. With lake of the Dead and reanimator package he can win un turn 2 and 3 very quick.
While i agree that Treasonous Ogre is pushing the color pie, temporary Mana production is strongly in Red's territory. And while we usually see that in rituals and recently in Treasures; paying 3 life, specially in a 20 life setting, adds a real clock and fits Red's recklessness well enough. Not the REDDEST of cards, but fits. The funny thing is, K'rrik has a similar effect, but is more closely tied to his lore instead of the color pie, and he does offer a way to gain life back.
Btw this is the first video of you guys that i've watched and i'm pleasantly surprised! Super good job and i enjoyed the commentary mid-match. Keep it up!
Would love to see a new Best One Color Commander episode featuring Birgi. I believe she is one of, if not not, the strongest red commander. Urza, krrik and whoever idk. It seems like good is a bit dated in my opinion
So why not play teferi chain vale or high tide jace? I can kinda understand godo but why Kirrik? It seems that there is just better options to see around the table
the karn misplay totally affects the outcome right? karn wouldn't have died to godo, which means he wouldn't have had enough mana to equip helm on his last turn
Looks like he already had his winning line in his hand. He probably wanted to keep the 3 drop activation of Yisan for interaction via something like Rec Sage on the turn he goes off. If he didn't have the Sabertooth in hand he might have activated Yisan to allow him to get Sabertooth off Yisan on the same turn he played it from his hand in that game. It's hard to say why since we don't know what's in his hand, but that's a situation I would have opted to save the Yisan 3 activation.
This is already my favorite cEDH channel. You guys have great chemistry. I love the quick style and commentary. Laughing at misplays and explaining more optimized routes that could have been taken.

Next video: WHO'S THE BEST COLORLESS COMMANDER IN cEDH
Can you name 4 lol?
Karn silver golem, kozileck, traxos, emrakul, hope of ghirpaur, ulamog, I think that’s it...
It is notable that Thoughtseize has the targeted player reveal their hand!
18:40 Although the printed card says 'sacrifice', the oracle text states that Tabernacle actually destroys creatures that aren't paid for so you don't need to pay for indestructible creatures.
Love the content! Keep it coming!
I did not know that! Thank you mate!
Yes Yisan taking game one!! I have a Yisan deck and it’s so insane even if you don’t fine tune it to be a cEDH deck
Jordan Lind is yisan better than a vannifar or some sort of pod deck??
Jordan Lind is yisan better than a vannifar or some sort of pod deck??

I guess my answer would be ya it is better considering it has the addition of blue
Its worth noting that the godo would bot have died to tabernacle as it was indestructible from the hammer.
indestructible does nothing against sacrifice
@@vidab18 tabernacle says destroy
4:08 the change in music when he cast Urza made me think he was gonna have a 20 minute turn
Me: Roots for Yisan and Godo even though I know there is a 75%+ chance that blue will win.
Edit: Pleasantly surprised.
I really think people overestimate mono blue... either that or they underestimate other mono colored decks. That urza deck list is trash and slow.

Karn goes up to turn artifacts into creatures, not down
I'm definitely the Dylan of my cEDH group. Both of us give play advise like leave a green up to activate survival, but no one tells us that we can plus karn and choose to not target.
At 0:18 my mind went straight to what it start out as lol... I'm new to cEDH and watching these videos are helping me understand it more

I'm glad someone else said it 21:04 you dont neeed interaction just go off as fast as possible.
Please can we get an updated 2023 version of the best one color commander??????
I absolutely love how quick the editing is. I'm definitely going to watch more of these.
Great video! Love that you give us three games in one :D

Yisan was my first deck...love him to This day. Built him when i didn't know nothing about magic except i wanted a bard commander and green was cool.
Heat Shimmer actually gives the token the text "At end of turn, remove this permanent from the game." So the token created by Helm of the Host would also get exiled.

Your channel easily became my favorite Mtg channel. Keep it up.

I watch a lot of EDH / cEDH gameplay. First time seeing you guys. Love it. Subscribed!
As a fellow Yisan player, this is my favorite video of yours yet!
Hey guys, love this channel, keep up the good work!

Funny you should mention that I just got some BIG honking dice in the mail 5 black 5 white

I could not click on this fast enough. Good job boys
Nice video guys. I do believe that Yisan player made a lot of suboptimal plays and still Yisan was a powerhouse, great deck. BTW, so much interaction vs Godo, he is probably one of the best monotone commanders too!
At 16:20 Karn's ability is a +1 not a -1, so he shouldn't have died at the first hit of Godo the next turn
Love your channel by the way
Finally a Yisan game where he puts in work!
I feel like it should be noted that finding the best mono colored commander isn't really something that can be tested with just a few games.... Shoot you are right. I thought we checked mid game but came to the wrong conclusion lol. Good catch thank you!
@@PlaytoWinMTG It happens! Love your videos, keep the games coming 👍
Aye, found the comment that addressed this! Like.
Y'all should do a "who is the most powerful praetor commander". That would be interesting.

Sheoldred- dredge

Best way to end a weekend. Thanks guys!
Best cEDH channel on RUclips. 👍
Thank you for the sanitary warning, many Americans are not yet convinced of the gravity of the situation. It bears repeating. :)
Also, great vid', as usual.
You always cast k'rrik before you cast any plack spells on your turn so you get him buffed up! Didn't really matter tho
Had a great time. I wish you can make more content on mono color commanders.
16:22 its the Plus ability on Karn
Ooo good catch
This is awesome, great video and high level play
Heat Shimmer
Create a token that’s a copy of target creature, except IT has haste AND “At the beginning of the end step, exile this permanent.”
The token copy of Priest of Titania made with Helm of the Host is still exiled at the end step since the token itself has the ability.
Goddamn right I recognize that Rocko’s Modern Life phrase at the end.
It’s been a while since this video, but just so you know that K’rrik deck is not the one most players are using, or at least players who are winning 😂
Unfortunate that Urza didn't get to go off and control the field! Look forward to your videos every week!
Love me some prime Yisan play
It's always hard to decide on just one color, but it's good to see Green do Green things as opposed to blue countering everything.
Ey! Great vid bois! Yisan is crazy and I always love me some Godo bandit warlord.
at 13:08 the 2nd equipment is not the hammer of nazahl right? cause it was exiled with scavenging ooze. it saysso in the overlay but i see a different card on the mat.
Love it. Keep em' coming.
Dude great Game! I have a yawghmoth in command zone, and is a beast. With lake of the Dead and reanimator package he can win un turn 2 and 3 very quick.
Man you guys have amazing content
Little Karn pluses on his first ability and correcting that could save him for at least one turn
You guys do such great content!!
Could you guys show of the cedh yarok deck on a video at some point? Would love to see it in Action
I'm sad that you didn't get to go off with bolas's citadel in that first game but all the games were great! Jesus Piece slaps btw
Interesting fact. Sylvan safe keep us actually a human wizard (although the old version of the card only says wizard)
At minute 16:22 it’s a plus 1 not minus 1 for Karn.
OH BABY a new vid! love it!
Nice to see a fellow Jesus piece fan
Ayee
Yisan! Yisan! Mono-green rules the roost. :)
great video as always keep it going
Love your videos! Keep it up
OOH I wish i found y’all sooner, this channel is sick lol
Uhh, the music starting more or less around 4:00 sounds nice!
Seedborn muse doesn't untap lands during your own untap step if winter orb is out
Honestly I love Godo. He has amazing art that reminds me of wolverine and his ability it also amazing.
I love my Yarok deck haha and yes there is a Panharmonicon in that baby
Do you happen to have the deck list for the mono black? I’m wanting to make mine better.
Did you guys not have a game where someone played Ilharg, the Raze-boar?
this channel is great
Do we as public have access to deck lists?? Im curious how many lands you guys are running in these builds.
While i agree that Treasonous Ogre is pushing the color pie, temporary Mana production is strongly in Red's territory. QUESTION:
Why does K'rrik use 6 snow and 6 normal Swamps???
Yisan is really a complex deck to pilot. I have one and always there's something to learn.
after heliod trashed everybody it is surprising he is not part of that mono color war
Also. When are we gonna get to see one of you gentlemen pilot Animar, soul of elements??
didn't the urza player tap his tabernacle for mana to cast etherium sculptor?
how are you untapping with your commanders on the board?? :)
I do highly prefer Emry to Urza personally. Faster combo potential and more resilient to being removed (as is her want)
why would you have prismatic lense in godo?
So why not play teferi chain vale or high tide jace? I can kinda understand godo but why Kirrik? It seems that there is just better options to see around the table
Missed a counter on k'rrik when he played imps mischief
What was up with the karn plays?
Big Brains Yisan.
Toolbox and Knowlege
White: Alright I'll head out
13:08 Why didn't Godo win here?
the karn misplay totally affects the outcome right? karn wouldn't have died to godo, which means he wouldn't have had enough mana to equip helm on his last turn
Love your videos
do you guys play with proxies for these or do you actually own all these cards?
yisan my fav deck of all time
Wouldn't chulane count as a cedh? And if so he could use panharmonicon
I play Panharmonicon in Roon!
3:50 Is there a reason he didn't use Yisan twice here?
Looks like he already had his winning line in his hand. He probably wanted to keep the 3 drop activation of Yisan for interaction via something like Rec Sage on the turn he goes off. If he didn't have the Sabertooth in hand he might have activated Yisan to allow him to get Sabertooth off Yisan on the same turn he played it from his hand in that game.
It's hard to say why since we don't know what's in his hand, but that's a situation I would have opted to save the Yisan 3 activation.
Do you use proxies in this or do you actually own a tabernacle at pendrell vale?
