What I love the MOST about these vids is that you guys, clearly (no BS,) are good magic players. That being said you all make the same mistakes that others make. Instead of getting pissed, or frustrated, you make light of the situation and still have a good time. This is SUCH an inspiration to all of us that are TRYING to be better players because it reminds us to error is to be human and to NOT be a huge dick about losing or making a mistake. Thank you so much for this..... That being said.... Dylan! Play to WIN! LOL! Great vid my Bois.
"Cheater" "Fucking cheater" killed me. I love watching you guys so much. I wish I could play cedh with the deck I wanted to. Y'all make me relaxed. Thank you so much.
Been playing magic for nearly 20 years. I just recently started playing EDH. I've been binging these videos. I've gotten some nasty ideas. Loving the pacing, commentary, evolution of your content, and how y'all are genuinely having fun. Keep it up gents!
Jesus Christ is lord. Please read at least three books of the Bible. The first book of each testament and one you chose yourself. As you do practice forgiveness. It is important. Please
Note: Mindblade doesn’t care who controls the warrior that deals damage, just the fact that a warrior hit an opponent. It should have triggered a couple more times.

Not only is Momir good this way but its an amazing budged commander that is extremely strong. I have 2 version of Momir: one that is super high tuned without mana crypt, cradle etc. and one with a below 50€ budged but both are nothing you would call casual any day of the week. Also Momir is probably the best Biovisonary commander you can have.
Yea I've never seen him in action before but I really like how he "hacks" his own ability to make it stronger by using the color change cards that are basically used nowhere else lol
As a Momir player I kept wondering when I'd see Yeva, Nature's Herald and either Seedborn Muse or Murkfiend Liege to start playing on other people's turns but it never happened. Tyler... I'm not angry... Just disappointed. But it was still a great game and seeing my boy get that second round was awesome. Great video as always guys.
Just a little something you guys might wanna do or not do, but it’s something I do with my green deck. With wirewood symbiote and quirion ranger, I flip them upside down rather than tapping so you can see they’ve been used that turn. I just feel like watching, it would make it easier to see that they’ve been used
Being a casual Commander player, I feel like I'm really learning a lot about card evaluation watching cEDH. But at the same time, being a casual Commander player, the meta is so different I may not have actually learned a lot about card evaluation.
Card evaluation is tricky. What exactly is card evaluation? There are many different kinds. You could evaluate cards when they come out. I this card good? Bad? Does it need more support until it becomes hot and trendy? But I think when people say, and you judging from your comment, I’m bad at evaluating cards they actually mean to say ‘’I have a hard time telling where this card stands is in the meta’’ Strictly speaking if you’re only playing casual and hasn’t exposed yourself to data which is backed up by competitive results then you can not evaluate cards properly. The framework for evaluating cards under those circumstances is too narrow. Evaluating cards using a casual pov is like taking 264 cards and then look at them and then rank them. Certainly; you could get a pretty good estimate of which cards are better than the other. But reality is that you’re disregarding every other aspect. An example of this is when people thinks Armageddon is a competitive card. (situations can vary so don’t go, but it destroys this and that) ‘’Armageddon is awesome, you’re destroying all lands. What are you saying?!!’’ Armageddon doesn’t help you win the game. It only slows down the game which is a big difference. Competitive decks doesn’t need a lot of mana to win the game. Therefore destroying all lands isn’t as good as it seems. Part of evaluating cards is also being able to evaluate board states in the game. In all games situations which has happened before will appear. For example If you cannot say how the board state of a vannifar player might look like before she combos off then you cannot evaluate what cards are good for that situation. However if you’re only playing casual why would you go further? It is highly possible that you are extremely good at evaluating cards in your meta of 264 cards. Don’t get me wrong I think it is good that you want to learn more about the game. Being a more well versed player lets you build better more efficient decks which does what they want to do whether or not that is competitive it’s more fun to have your deck work the way you envisioned it. We all have built decks and had them fall flat on its’ face, not a very good feeling. But it also helps avoiding situations where cars gets banned because people cannot use them properly. Paradox engine for example. While being a fair card people who didn’t know how to use it, used it to prolong games which just made it a misery to play against.
After seeing Chulane I really got interested in high tuned land based decks. I myself have a extremely high power Tatyova deck that win most of the time because no one has answers to someone just playing all the lands and being able to play powerful stax cards like Trinisphere or Arcane Laboratory without being disrupted by them at all basically.
So after momir was recast in game 2, how did the mono green creatures trigger the “reveal” part of momir’s text, since the change color spell had worn off when momir was bounced to hand.
Yeah Yitz Blitz for the win! Tutor in the command zone makes playing mono green a thing. You should do best elf deck in cEDH. Selvala, Momir Vig, Edric and Glissa Stax.
Lol, that Momir win was great. Reminded me a lot of Selvala loops but with tutors. Tbh, I think I actually have the pieces needed for that kind of list, I might put it together.
Yo this is my bro Joking101's Chulane List. Shared this to him and the Chulane Discord. Thank you for this. #Chulane4Life Edit: The list shown is not the current list used in this video. I would love to see a showcase of the current list. Thanks guys
Dart1337 not in this game, no. But overall I think Najeela is the more solid deck. a)It has more colors than the others, resulting in better cards overall b)It‘s wincons are exremely lean (only a single slot each) c) it can easily fit a backup wincon into the deck, and gets to play the best one of the format in oracle+consultation
For what it's worth, the character in question is Cuchulaine, and he's a pretty famous/prominent feature in Irish folklore and mythology. Yes I am a nerd.
25:40 I wouldn't think blocking to kill creatures is a "spite play" at all. It might not increase your chance of winning at that point, but the threat of their creatures dying can be a deterrent against other players attacking you, so blocking to kill creatures should be a legit play imo
How good is Tarnished Citadel? My perspective is that if you need the colored mana a lot, you're better off running City of Brass/Mana Confluence, and if you only need it once, you're better off running Aether Hub/Tendo Ice Bridge.
A little bit of wrong stack interaction, but you guys are playing the most complicated decks in the format. At 22:30 Yisan player has to pass priority before Boreal Druid untaps. -But i have to cut you guys some slack here.
Cam do we not pay for shock lands anymore lol.. @7:33 nm nm i see you payed double when you played Hallowed Fountain... >_> I got my eyes on you ^_^ After seeing everyone using Quiron Ranger, this game happened before the release of Yavimaya (Green Urborg) but if 1 person had that out returning Gaea's Cradle would be crazy..
Do you guys play with proxies? If so, where do you go about getting them? My friends and I are thinking about making cEDH decks, but the cards are FAR too expensive for a couple broke college students lol.
I was talking to my girlfriend then heard “Oh shit Dylan I forgot to start recording...” rewound the video 10 seconds and watched Cam suddenly fill the dice space
I think that this wouldn’t affect much other than delaying things slightly, but Dylan probably shouldn’t have targeted temur sabertooth with covenant, since he was always gonna make it indestructible to save another creature.
Bear umbra is less than optimal in cEDH. It's just way too risky to run, the same can be said about sword of feast and famine. Source: Been playing cEDH Najeela for a couple of years.
he uses (some weird old af) cards that change the reference of one color to another color in permanents, changing the "blue" clause in the second ability to "green"
Slight slight misstep, but Cam did pick up the pilgrim with wirewood in the second game. Definitely a mana dork, but not an elf. Idk if you can allow that cheating on this channel. Glad to see you on the show Cam, but time to get the boot I guess.
i dare yall to do a "whats the best stax deck" video thats like an hour and a half long
I’ll do you one better: Mono White stax with mandatory Mana Tithe and Lapse of Certainty
Actually very much want to see this too
What do you mean an hour and a half long video? They still gotta get to game 2!
I like this idea yesssssss
@Thatcher Colson wow we love spam

No Edric Turns? Does that mean I can play him at casual tables now? :p
Silly Cameron! You couldn’t return Avacyn’s Pilgrim with Wirewood Symbiote! That guy’s a human.
Well, yeah, he's not impersonating forests, so probably not an elf.
Najeela is really good against non-creature decks because it wants to get through and can rely on at least one deck not to have blockers.
"Cheater" "Fucking cheater" killed me. I love watching you guys so much. I wish I could play cedh with the deck I wanted to. Y'all make me relaxed. Thank you so much.
Never realized how many tattoos you have until you gave us that sexy leg shot

Great game play as always! You guys are exactly the type of players I like to play against. No salt. All fun. GGs my dudes!
Will you guys ever do a Who is the Best commander of every One color? That would be fun see 4 mono blue decks fighting to see whats best.
Jesus Christ is lord. Please read at least three books of the Bible. The first book of each testament and one you chose yourself. As you do practice forgiveness. It is important. Please
Thanks for all that nice content. I really enjoy the speed with which you are palying!
Keep the nice work up!
Note: Mindblade doesn’t care who controls the warrior that deals damage, just the fact that a warrior hit an opponent. It should have triggered a couple more times.
Yes, but I believe Najeela was attacking the controller of Mindblade Renderer so it wouldn't necessarily have drawn more.

This video made me want to build a hackball list. I had to rewatch it going off a shameful amount of times, and it was fun every time. God damn.
SO this is why elfs in legecy are HUGE! ty for the great vid
I was hoping to see Inalla when I saw the title. Great videos. Definitely coming back to see more.
I'm sad that my boy animar didn't get recognition. My favorite deck by far.
As a Momir player I kept wondering when I'd see Yeva, Nature's Herald and either Seedborn Muse or Murkfiend Liege to start playing on other people's turns but it never happened.

The sass behind "counterspell" when derevi was played was hilarious, i would have thrown every counter i had at it too 😅
This is my new favorite magic channel! You guys are the fucking best!
I love that momir won a game! Vig was my first cedh deck but I took it apart, holy crap that chain is annoying to navigate
After seeing Chulane I really got interested in high tuned land based decks. Top of my head, Chulane was based on Cú Chulainn, so I've always had in my head that it's pronounced "Koo-layn"
Exactly this. Thank you, Smite. 😂
it was so nice to see tyler almost pop off with the win even after momir got swords-ed wouldve been hella spicy
As someone who comes from one of the country that Chulane's name originates from. I appreciate your attempts to pronounce his name correctly here.
So after momir was recast in game 2, how did the mono green creatures trigger the “reveal” part of momir’s text, since the change color spell had worn off when momir was bounced to hand.
He rehacked it with another card in Dylan's end step
Casually Competitive Joseph got you with that primer and pronunciation guide. nice

Same, I thinking how convoluted the whole combo is and uses cards that normally just sit in a box.
Where can I get this awesome elf playmat. I fell in love . Help

Can i get a link to said server? I'd love to chat with more Chulane players
Ah yes, Avacyn's Pilgrim, the strongest elf of them all.
Calling it now: Najeela. The answer is Najeela.
I feel like najeela preys on non creature decks better and therefore won't hold up well against 3 other creature decks.
If only.
@@toomas5948 100% agree, a board full of blockers is less than ideal for najeela
Najeela never came close this video.

I know this is an old video, but how did you guys set up this recording? My friends and I are trying to record games and can’t find a good setup
Do you have a deck list for yisan the wandering bard
Dylan, what are those wonderful najeela tokens? They look awesome!
Ancient Mew Pokemon 2000 Movie Game Promo!
They look SICK IRL
Alex Gillard Oh, I found 20$ + not really cheap for a token, but I will definitely buy one of those
Alex Gillard, haha hi again, I just got it from eBay and it looks amazing! Thanks a lot!

Wise than city or con, better than hub. Casting your spells is most important. Life total is least important
What song is playing in the background?

Do you guys play with proxies? If so, where do you go about getting them? My friends and I are thinking about making cEDH decks, but the cards are FAR too expensive for a couple broke college students lol.
The forest that you said should be in hand would have been played by Chulane's ability and it would be untapped !
Next match: Best creature-less decks in cEDH! Proteus decks or decks that just run very few creatures, like proteus Urza, Elsha of the infinite, etc.
I was talking to my girlfriend then heard “Oh shit Dylan I forgot to start recording...” rewound the video 10 seconds and watched Cam suddenly fill the dice space
Best creature deck would be really nice to see on the channel.
Or.. a game without Tassa's oracle.
@10:46 mark how did wiresibot bounce a human
Ever thought of making a video that showcases the best decks that win from combat damage as a plan A?
Yeeeees, I love three of these decks to death
I think that this wouldn’t affect much other than delaying things slightly, but Dylan probably shouldn’t have targeted temur sabertooth with covenant, since he was always gonna make it indestructible to save another creature.
What about Animar? or is he considered tron
Why he just seek 2 cmc =5 creature with a yisan, I think yisan go to 4 counter, them go to 5. Someone explain to me please
May I ask why Yisan wasn’t running Great Oak Guardian?
Naughty Cam, Avacyn's Pilgrim is a Human, can't bounce it with Wirewood.
Can you guys share your video setup?
Does playing your usual thassa’s oracle demonic consultation win con really count as making a creature deck though?
Yes.
Is there an argument for more stifle effects to make oracle consultation more dangerous?
i feel like this video is way more confusing than most of your guys' videos lol
My favorite creature cEDH deck is Karador Boomweaver Combo. Anybody here familiar with it?
Good to see Yisan winning!

Ive been a couple times for magic but other than that not really
16:00 yes i did notice
Guys I think I figured it out. It’s Yisan
I was spacing out, and did miss Cam not being there for the first round...
Why does Tyler always do both effects of Momir, even when he casts green creature spells?
he uses (some weird old af) cards that change the reference of one color to another color in permanents, changing the "blue" clause in the second ability to "green"
I was the 1000 like nice also more people should watch this only 41000
Hackball its such an interesting deck
Kinda sad that Meren, Kalamax and Animar weren’t nominated ( Guess Kalamax isn’t really a creatures deck as it only needs Kiki)
Animar is one of the best cedh creature decks!
That made no sense, theres a player at the table with Winterorb out and no one turned the game into archnemesis against him...
Misplays: the Musical!
Why is Zachary quinto playing momir vig?
Legit didn't notice Cam not being there lol
Selvala? I feel like selvala is better than momir vig? May just be me wanting to see selvala
