    I was shocked by the saccing of blood celebrent, which is probably the best creature in the deck, but I guess all that mana with no gas. If you had any gas, though, you use the blood celebrent and the crystal vein to recast krikk and attempt to storm off.

      @@MageSkeleton Blood celebrant is a combo piece. Can allow the deck to go off without krrik on board with a villis/sheoldred. But it mainly acts as a treasonous ogre with krrik on board so you can cast all your spells with life.

    I’d love to see a cEDH Splinter Twin/Kiki Blue Moon style deck. Any of you have a deck that does that style for cEDH?

    • @casuallydone468
      @casuallydone468 9 месяцев назад

      Etali Primal Conqueror while very fringe cEDH is essential built that way playing things that can duplicate etali, with the goal being this big 7 mana creature that etbs and you ideally flip cast entire libraries off food chain to kill the table/hold prio on someone elses thassa oracle getting hit off you until you exile your own entire library. Aside from food chain you have access to temur dockside loops. You ideally want to shut your opponents out through 1 sided stax like blood moon, magus of the moon, or dosin, and try to mass combo etali triggers.
      The issue is Blue Moon permission isnt really a style of deck due to control just being really bad against blue farm + 4 player pods. Nymris, Oona's Trickster is the closest you can get to permission control in cEDH since the commander allows you to go mana positive and card neutral compared to opponents each time you cast a control spell.

      People tried to do that years ago in the LabManiac days with the UR god. Keranos? It's pretty outpaced now though. Blood Pod or Winota are better options to win while interacting with mana/lands.

    I'm a huge fan of Flicker / Dihada / Underworld Breach combos. I don't run blue cause if I did I would HAVE to run thassa's and although the win con is so basic and a staple of blue CEDH it would be nice to have thassa's banned just to shake up the meta.
