Nice project but its NOT recommended to use the volt meter without using a resistor-based voltage divider or else you will burn the Chip very soon. Even for 0-5 Volt you should use the Voltage dividing cricuit with approprate resistor and calculate using R1 & R2 ( typically 10000 and 10000 OHMS) formula Vout =(R1) /(R1 + R2) * Vin

bro ur voltage is floating when not connected to anything use pull down resistor to solve this prblem
If u measure voltages in opposite polarity....u may destroy your arduino
