I know this thread is from a year ago, but I ran into the Z axis issue on the TS2 I just bought. It turned out to be the laser module mount (the moving portion) was hitting the two lower mounting allen bolts. The heads stick out too far, so I simply swapped the module cover screws for the mount two lower screws in question. Problem solved immediately. Z has full travel top to bottom now.
I had same problem with laser, modul not going all way down. Problem was screws on modul! I switched screws from modul with screws (they have thiner head) from left motor and now modul is going all way down.
Hello friend, will you know if I can adapt another laser module with the same characteristics and same connector in case it breaks down and it doesn't cost me so much with the manufacturer?
They all seem to have 10w lasers on them now. I don't have the tools or knowledge to test what the draw from the laser really is if that is what you are asking
@@randymaythank you. You answered it. What I was looking for was the 10 watt or whatever the manufacturer said they were. Are these capable of a deep etch if multiple passes is used ? I would like to etch something deep enough to hold an enamel or cerakote in the lines.

This company is a joke. Save yourself the time. I ordered a machine and it was supposed to be here in 3-4 days. After 2 weeks and 3 emails I finally heard back and was told to would be 2 more months. I asked for a refund 4 times and they have not responded. I had to reach out to VISA to get a refund. Seriously go elsewhere.
@@randymay I didn’t get my money back yet. The bank has to go through a whole process to get my money back. I just hope the e-mail chain I sent the bank proves I haven’t received the machine.
@@randymay no response for over a week and then asked for pictures of the boxes they sent me containing the air assist standoffs and honey comb. I sent those 4 days later they asked me if there was any way that I would take the laser. I guess I have to get Visa involved. They have side stepped my request for a refund 5 times now and the machine is still not available.
Yeah that's a definitely some bad customer service right there I'm dealing with something similar with a different laser engraver company trying to get a laser that they sent me for review just to work properly. And it's been maybe 4 months of back and forth and I'm supposed to be reviewing this product... So needless to say whenever I do get around to making the review on this other laser I'm talking about it's not going to be favorable at all.
You the xTool does have a laser marker to help light stuff up and it does come in really handy. I have videos on that laser setup and some must have add-ons that might be helpful

The flame detector sensor can be adjusted, as far as I know
Yeah I found that out after making the video 😅 but that is a good point that I probably should have commented on at some point in the comments.
They do come with a honeycomb and air assist, just not the free one they sent you.
What are the wattage ratings of all of these units that you have tested ?

Can this machine cut transparent or other colors acrylic ? Thank you
"Honest Review" and "TwoTrees were kind enough to send me this laser engraver" are incompatable.

How do you center items? Is there a centering indicator?
You can tell the software to frame your design and have it start from the center. Other than that you have to eyeball it for the most part
@@randymay Thanks! That's what I am doing now "Eye balling it" and it sucks. I'm going with Xtool which has centering indicator.
