to be accurate, the scanner is not entirely stand-alone, as you must use it in connection with a PC or Mac to finish scans and export files

I used the Aesub scanning spray and I'm not going to buy another can. It's 3x as expensive as I'm willing to pay.

This is NOT beginner friendly. Look for Bambu Lab A1 if you "just want to print".

I too have to go for this modification with all metal filament insertion eliminating that 'obnoxious plastic tube that has caused me considerable problems and not only to me. I have a Kobra first series and I have done several trials installing the Kobra2 extruder but in the end I was not successful. When I first insert the filament it goes through smoothly but at the time of printing it does not come out properly. Solutions? Thank you very much.

I have own QIDI tech. I order filament 1.75mm and 0.05 (bambu, Markerbot, etc) will work any filament for QIDI tech ?

You should heat up the heatbreak before removal, use a ligther or heatgun, mine becomes so loose you can unscrew it without tools, just don't burn yourself.

I have an Ender 5 Pro that I haven’t used for ages, have been looking at all the X1C, K1 Max and K2 a lot recently. Anyway, I just ordered a Sonic pad to get it back up and running after watching this instead of just buying a Bambu or K1, as I’d rather not let the Ender 5 go to waste! I’ll probably get a K2 later in the year for the multifilament support and larger build volume.

Don't buy creality k1 guys. I am daily user 6 months now. I have several problems from the start. I have change extruder but I have problem again. I can't print thin wall because it breaks. I have both of my k1 printers problem with bed , there is gap between walls and problems with under extruding. I bought 20 days now 2 Bambu p1s and I solve all my problems. Creality lose the game.
