If anyone is wondering about getting this bag just do it. Its a wonderful bag and I have also had mine for two years. I have an all black one and have not had the fading issues you see on this bag. The cooler rocks.... The key clip rocks.... The bag works great on a cart or a push cart. I only have positive things to say. Great bag by ping.
Thanks for doing this extended review, great info. How many rounds do you play in a year and what state do you live in? The reason I’m asking is that I’m shocked at seeing how much the color has faded and the wear around the magnets and in the area where the cart strap goes around the bag. I have an 8 year old gray C130 cart bag and I live in the Midwest and play 1 to 2 times a week from April through October. The bag looks like it did the day I bought it with not a single wear mark and no fading. I like the features of the 2023 Pioneer bag better than what I have and I was thinking about buying it, but if it will look like that after just two years I just may keep the C130. Thanks in advance for your response.
Thanks for the comment. I played almost everyday when I used the Ping bag. I was playing quite a bit, except in the winters. I would say I played about 5 days a week with that bag. The fading didn't bother me since it was gray and black. The material wearing away was a concern.
Every Ping bag fades pretty bad. Same with the holes rubbing on back of golf cart .The one big downsides. I use meguires auto interior detail spray on my bags. Has 3M UV sun protection and makes your bag shiney new all the time . For the rubbing spots I glue an extra layer of fabric strap down the sides where it makes contact , looks oem
Still have a Ping Hoofer purchased in 2002. Hasn't really faded more than you'd expect. I'm guessing construction standards have dropped since then though. Thanks for the tip on the 3M product, hopefully they sell it down under.
Question, do you find it easy to lace the straps in the middle for a push cart. I just bought a clicgear 4.0 and wasn't sure if it was easy to attach. Also, did you find this bag to move at all while on a push cart? Thanks for the review, very helpful
I put it on a clic gear 3.5 push cart. I have had no problems of stability on that cart. I put my straps right on the top section with no problems. I know the 4.0 has different straps, but i dont see why it wouldnt work. It is a great bag. I would recommend it.
I just bought one today new 😁
Had no idea they came out a few years ago.
thanks for taking the time to review the bag.
Anytime, I am glad you enjoyed it. There is an extended review video after two years of using it on the channel. check it out.

I agree. Get the bag. I may buy another and hold on to it for future use.

Ping has got to learn that the dividers have to go down to the bottom in their bags. I have returned 2 ping bags in this year alone
I agree. I have noticed that my Titleist bag doesn't have full length dividers either.
I play ping clubs but I’m done with their bags
I like the designs of their pockets in most bags, but there are things like the quality of the material that turns me off. thanks for the comment.
