What a marvelous piece! I love this channel...so many great discoveries. Here we have Weber in a rather different mood than what most of us know as his usual - informed by Classicism while steeped in early Romanticism, as usual, but pensive, almost brooding, full of quiet longing, for what we can only guess - though by the final movement he seems to have remembered his usual self somewhat (and missed an obvious opportunity for some fugal counterpoint, in my opinion). A tasty performance on period instruments. Thanks again, Bartje!
@@SisselOnline lol... I mean... can you say more about them? I look for sonatas from this period, I know Clementi, Schubert, Dussek and I have forgotten Weber

Thank you, Bartje, I would have not the idea to listen to this.
That was wonderful! I love Weber's music and this was a new one for me. Thank you.
An amazing early Romantic trio by the grand old man of 19th century German opera, scored for a flute instead of the usual violin. Cheers!

I'm not a big Weber fan, but this is pretty cool.

@@TempodiPiano lol, that's sad.
Weber's Piano Sonatas resembles Beethoven's a lot, but at some part of it, it gives a huge contrast to Beethoven's.
