A complete step by step guide to replacing the fuel injectors in a pre-DPF LandCruiser 200 twin turbo diesel. Including removing stuck seats and calibrating the injectors using techstream. Much of this procedure also applies to the 70-series fitted with the single-turbo version of the 1VD-FTV.

Hi Jamie, as a fellow 200 owner and forum member, I wanted to say thank you for all the time you have spent making high quality presentations. The attention to detail, the information and clear instructions have been greatly beneficial in my build, and no doubt countless others as well. Look forward to your next series on the 300. Cheers

Great stuff, i usually skip the ads but let them play for any ad revenue you may gain. Your explanation is always top notch and the videos you have produced are way under appreciated😉.

Great step by step instructional mate. I just recently had my injectors changed on my 200 (300k) but after 5000ks she now is running rough. I have her booked in at my old mechanic who is a Toyota specialist so fingers crossed. Looking forward to the 300 build series and thank you for the past 200 series build videos. All the best.

Great job mate, that is some task. Toyota didn't make that engine easy to work on, that's for sure. Thanks' for posting some great videos & data on the 200 series over the years. Some of it has been of great benefit to me personally. Looking forward to see how the 300 series fares though I will be sticking to the 200, it will likely see me out. Landcruisers are a bit like that.

I just did this last Friday and for the left bank I didn't undo the whole common rail or the rocker cover or the wiring loom (all the way). I somehow slid the sound deadening from underneath the wiring from the front. It was way faster I should've made a video. Good job nevertheless.

This instruction is so well done. Thank you.
Watching it, it occurred to me that the Toyota engineers created the top ends so they would be independent of each other as much as possible. I wonder if there is a way of running the V8 as if it is a 4 cylinder, e.g. left or right bank only.
All the best with the 300.

If you own a 78series 2012 V8... and have the JMACX brake booster... you wont be able to pull out that last injector... 😢 unless you move the brake booster. 😢😢😢
