Thank you for showing us the bike. Im thinking of this bike months now. From my research the factory is in Bali , maybe im wrong . This bike indeed have about 10-15 different names. Each seler buys from the factory and put his brand and stickers. Its a very well designed bike, its designed by people who do enduro and its the best of both worlds in my opinion. Very decent suspension with almost 20cm travel in front. Very good brakes and a package with engine protection crash bars e.t.c . The design for me is something i like a lot. For example, its almost the same engine (if not exactly) with the cb500 but i dont like cb 500 at all, it dont look like an on-off bike for me. Maverick or hunter or colove in other countries for me its a beauty. Its a small GS1200 with 1/4 the price 1/3 the horsepower and 1/10 maybe the running costs of a GS. This bike with pirelli scorpion rally str tyres its a true all around bike . Its at about 200kg wet and has a low seat. No unnecessary electronics . The option to choose to have abs full off or front off is an amazing option for off road .The dual seat like the gs1100-1150-1200-1250 is something i love it. I just love it visualy when bikes have dual seat . In those kind of reviews something that should people do that none does is to check the spare parts. For example i had bought a zontes, zontes has a special size gel battery that cant been found aftermarket and cost 170euros . Zontes has special spark plug that its extremely difficult to find substitute .If headlight goes off then you have to change the whole mask. Those are thinks that bother me that none talks about. Maverick as i have search uses a very regular spark plug a very regular battery, possibly the oil filter too. I hope the air filter to be the same as cb500 so we can have an aftermarket like k&n or dna .It would like to know the lights too, if the headlamp goes of..how you change it? You need again the whole mask? Thinks like that none talks about .Would i like this bike to have 10-20 more horsepower and 1kg or more toque with the same weight? yes i would but what to do it is what it is, and is not slow at all for normal people that dont care only for speed. If i would buy it? definitely yes . Why i dont have? because i want a bike to marry her and dont change it for at least 10 years and i cant trust that i will find spare parts after the 4 years warranty that they give here, or if there will not be a good stock of parts and when i will need something i will have to wait 2 or 3 months for china or bali, or if the seller stops bring this bike after some years and then you will have to reach the factory for spare parts .
You make a very good point about spare parts. And also the aftermarket for these types of bikes is very small here in Europe. But if more and more people start buying them the aftermarket will grow. Aftermarket spare parts companies are in it for a profit, so if there is sufficient demand for parts for a certain motorcycle they will start making those parts. These quality Asian bikes are still young on the European market, but they will grow and so will the aftermarket.
@@RideWithAlex well many people are stuck with the brands they know, others cry that the Chinese copy EU and Japan bikes...well guess what, everything is a copy. usa started their space program with german knowledge , ussr make their jet engines to hold and not blow up by British technology, everything is copy and upgrade. Who made the first injection car? Who made the first ABS , safer technology in cars... no one cries because his car is safer from a technology that came maybe from a different continent . Those days companies share engines or sell engines to other companies legally . Many bikes looks similar in a way or another with other bikes .For a gs f800 the engine bars costs 200+ euro. And its just a shaped tube with costs no more than 5-10 euros . I dont say to sell the bars 10 euros but definitely not 200+ . Its good that we have new options from Asia . And also something that people dont believe is that those bikes are not less reliable from a yamaha or a bmw even if this sounds funy. Yes there are small factories in asia that make mopped bikes by the kilo and they are not much reliable...but the cost of repair for those bikes is almost nothing. Yes there are bikes like zontes that are reliable but are designed with a stupid way... for example the special battery that has to be mount on its side so only a gel battery work its long and think (i know how it sounds :P) and you cant find a replacement, but in general they are reliable bikes. Also this one here seems to be on production about 2 years now and from a first look i cant find any major problems . They hide the problems? Maybe yes maybe no who knows :)
Thanks for the review, The bike looks very nice, I feel Chinese are Copying The BMW GS in this bike with some touches of Italian & Japanese. However with Chinese sometimes the customers suffer with availability of spare parts Thanks again Alex & waiting for the road review

Salut detin o astfel de motocicleta dabea ce am terminat rodajul pot spune ca sunt multumit de ia dar si nemultumit in acelasi timp rodajul lam facut ca la carte in 2100 km am schimbat uleiul de trei ori doar motul 7100 si filtre de ulei Kn am zis ca de ce nu un ulei proaspat stiind ca morotul este nou dar marea surpeiza a fost cand am schimbat recent uleiul la 2100 am avut trista placere sa vad bucati de aluminiu in ulei erau bucati destul de maricele cat sa ma faca sa ma ingrijorej putin urmeaza sa contactez firma de la care am cumparato sa vedem ce vom rezolva de si nu ma asteptam sa se intample asta la un motor nou, de si am cautat o gramada de recenzi despre acest motor si fiabilitatea lui si nu am gasit ceva rau despre acest motor poate este un defect din fabrica sau sunt eu ghinionist.
Nu m-as agita prea tare, în primii mii de km este normal sa apară pilitura de fier, aluminu nu are de unde sa fie în motor. Nu uita ca în contact cu uleiul nu întra doar motorul ci și cutia de viteze și în special ambreiajul.

Ia de pe site numerele colegilor mei de pe vânzări și ei te pot ajuta cu toate informațiile de actualitate despre Maverick.
@@RideWithAlex Momentan sunt în Asia de Sud-Est ajungem acasă și vrem sa facem PanAmerican cu motorul, este greu la un așa interval scurt să poți face drumuri lungi și foarte lungi cu acest model, păcat că restul pare foarte interesant.
@@manolacheionut3026 dacă mergi la drum lung și ai ulei de calitate poți sa tragi mai mult de ulei, 5000km este intervalul de service dat de producător pentru un rider normal și regim de folosire normala. Motorul în final este cel de honda de 500 de pe cb500x
@@RideWithAlex Mie îmi trebuie minim 10k km intre schimb, imaginează ți când treci Anzi in Bolivia sau desertul Aquncaua in Chile, eu sunt orientat către Honda CRF 300 Rally, motor cam mic dar interval lung intre schimburi 12k km. O sa mai întâlnesc în vara aceasta in Asia Centrală cu lume și vad ce mai au și ei. Thanks

You make a very good point about spare parts. And also the aftermarket for these types of bikes is very small here in Europe. But if more and more people start buying them the aftermarket will grow.
